Phrygian Dominant-Actually I do live near there. I was thinking of some other road....I had to check out the map, but I'm probably about within 15-20 minutes:)
Ovation1-I said it because it's just the way i think. LOL. I would probably give it back out of the kindness of my heart, or wait...maybe just to meet the band.....LOL
Jonny-Oh ok, LOL. Yeah Chris Farley is hilarious! I also like David Spade, because without him there wouldn't have been that amazing movie duo, Chris Farley and David Spade in Tommy Boy and Black Sheep. I also like Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, Ben Stiller...just about everyone that has been or is on Saturday Night Live. I do like Michael McDonald from MadTV who plays Stewart and that long haired redneck guy! LOL....I like most of the people on there too, it's just not as memorable as SNL.

jonny - thanx bro.... glad you like my stuff..... # : )

Plum - my take is that theory wont really make you too much of a better player [unless you're a jazzer or into the pitch axis stuff] but your writting ability increases a whole lot.... more choices...
A major - dominant = E
E major- dominant = B
Dflat major- dominant = Ab
B flat major- dominant = Fb
Shell - to the best of my knowledge, the Buddhists are a pretty peaceful and tolerant bunch.

Sweet_mellisa Welcome to the site! This section (talk to joe as im sure you know by now) heh, well it should be 'Talk to the fans' really but anyhoo, feel free to ask any questions you have or shout out any opinions! etc. So! I've finally decided what i want for chirstmas! First it was the 'ye old amp question' hehe, and now im definately getting a POD, i was hit with the shocking but true fact that im going to have to spend some of my hard earned (hard winged lol) pennies on my computer, turns out i'll also be getting an Amd athlon xp 2000 processor (i'll need a new mainboard too argh!) and a 60gb hard drive, im gonna save for a cd-rewriter too, so finally i'll have my own little recording area set- up!! ........Joe Rules....

My english is that much poor that you don't understand what I'm saying!!? How can I ask it ? What do you all use to clean you fingerboard ? Can we use lemon oil on the rosewood of the JS1000? I heard that lemon oil is specific to a kind of wood...?

Thanx for your answer. Dud26

Joe you are amazing. i went to see you at the Manchester Apollo (England) and you ruled. i wished i could have standed near the front though so i could have a chance of catching one of your pics. i voted for you in the Total Guitar top 100 guitarists. i voted you 1st. you were also the one who inspired me to start playing the guitar. i hope to play as well as you can one day. ive looked all over for tabs of you and cant find any. could you possibly send me some, esspecially the tabs for friends? i love your guitars too, i really want a JS1000 or JS2000, especially the chrome one or the "snakey one" as you called it at the gig. please write back. Hi All,

I am new to the board and I am so happy to be among people who feel the same way that I feel about Joe and his music. I have never felt in my life the power of energy that this mans music has given me it goes to my soul. I have been going to his shows since 1994, and each time I go it just takes me to a better place . I have never met such a beautiful and kind person who treats people with such respect, I feel like I known him for years. And also every person who has jammed with Joe through the years is the same way, down to the crew. I have so many photos that brings back such great memories, my best ones are when Jonathan Mover asked me if I wanted to sit on the back of his Harley with him. I am kind of shy but it was so different with them, as I said they treat you like friends instead of just fans. I wish they would let you send in photos on the board, if anyone knows if they allow that could you let me know. I cannot wait to see him again on the 13 of Dec. in NYC, saw him in Oct with Dream Thearte but I did not know he was opening for them. So to me it was kind of a tease, I am not a big fan of Dream Thearte. So I am counting the days to see them again, and it will be the greatest time in my life it will be my B-Day and one I will never forget. Joe you are the greatest in every way there could never be anyone who could ever come close to you in all that you do. Thank You Joe for opening up my world and my soul. I hope I can become a part of this community and I hope we can all grow as a family together.

Hey What's up ! I love Your guitar playing i think that you are one of the most talented guitar players out there, i think that we need more awesome guitar players like you in the music industry anyway i am gonna get down to the serious stuff.

1: i have trouble playing the chorus part to "Satch boogie" can you give me some insite on how to play it. iam having a little bit of trouble on it :)

2: Do u still keep in Touch with Steve Vai one of your former students? if so it would be great for you two to make a album toughter :)

3: Do u give lessons in New York City ?, unfortunetly i live in New York City and i hear that u are located somewhere in the Bay Area if so i would love to get a lesson from you :)

I think that Surfing With the Alien is an awesome song it' s actually one of my favorites besides War and The Extremist.and Always with me Always with you.
