Jazziole: I doubt I can get any more A in snake or mate than that, I'd like to hear your version of the "A" sound!
A-I-A-I-A-I-A-I-A-I ... they're very different in my ears but maybe you've got a bigger variation in your pronunciation.
I should sing more? Like how people keep telling Joe he should sing more? I sing lots. Maybe one day I'll take lessons to sing properly with volume.
SupaaDave: just noticed you've cracked the 1000 mark. I'm sure most of the posts were justified too. I suppose it averages out to just below 1 post per day since June 2002 when this board started. You were "alien32" weren't you? (Back in the day)

Steve_E from Australia, you'll probably never even see this in amongst the thousands of messages but... the set list you posted was the same as the Brisbane show. Almost perfect.
To whoever is running this site (I know this will never be read)...
Is there any chance of a threaded FORUM / message board type system being used again here like in the old days on satriani.com?
Over 93,000 members (that is HUGE!) all trying to carry a conversation like it's a giant chat room. Can anyone else see a problem with this? How about a free php-based forum? No need to copy and paste everything or wade through millions of posts to reply to someone, you could just click on "QUOTE" when you want to respond directly, and there could be categories like "General Chat," "Joe's Music," "Joe's Equipment," "Theory & techniques," "Live Performances," and so on. That way discussions could flow properly and be posted in the right categories instead of one giant stream of posts.
I was a member here back when the site first got going (1996) and it was a lot easier to interact with fans and leave messages for Joe that he might actually get around to reading.
Just a suggestion,
Dom

Artanis......yep...that was me. I think I joined a couple of months before the new board was created...when you had to wait a certain amount of time before you could post again. What was it...4 hours or something? Yeah I'd say the majority of the posts were justified even if they were'nt the least bit interesting....lol. On a rare occasion you might see two or even three (oh my god) posts in a single day, but for the most part it is less than one a day...heh heh.

#last post before weekend - mightn't be back until Monday#
SupaaDave: so true. The imposition of the 4 hour rule was because people used to "post whore" with absolute rubbish...then it stopped...then the 4 hour rule stopped...then the rubbish came back!!!
Stevee: funny you should say that...I do have a weekly radio show...on Mondays from 8pm 'til midnight. I mainly do proper announcing in between the songs, but I'm hoping to do my pointless (yet entertaining) rant stuff a bit more. Micallef style if anything I suppose. My favourite ones have been about the current time or temperature readings. Gets a bit off track sometimes...I haven't figured out how to get back to the playlist without sounding an idiot or saying "what am I talking about? Let's get back into the music"
Later Satchaholics, have a good weekend. Have fun in Melbourne Joe, even though I'm not there to help you.
BEN

I just put the headphones on and I'm listening to In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. I was trying to play part of the solo by memory on the drums this afternoon and I want to see how close i got. ha! That's funny, isn't it. How close I got. lmao! Actually, I think you would have known what song I was playing - I just wish I could coordinate my foot with my hands. lol! I've been listening to this song since I was a kid back in the 60's, but I haven't heard it for a while, and I've never attempted to play it. Oooo, here it comes - wait for it.....
HA! I actually did pretty good on a part or two, and you would have been able to tell what i was trying to play on some of it, but I forgot a LOT of it. LMAO!! Mah skillz are so weak!! lmao!! It was fun though :)
Jazzy, Nathan East & BB King, hmmm, maybe I could take over Lars part? LMAO!
Hi Tracie!!
OMG JAZZY - NAPOLEAN IS ON THE TONIGHT SHOW NOW!!!
HA! Now that I look at him, he kinda looks like Andy Gibb. ROTF!!

Hey All!!
Just checkin back to see if anyone has a set (2) of premium tickets available for the Seattle Shoxbox Theatre April 15, 2005 in Seattle. I again will share my dilema. I had to wait till payday to get tickets and when I was able, the premium tickets were sold out!... Shoot
Anyway if anyone has them available I would really be interested. Once in my life I would really like to meet Joe and grab a snap with him.
Thanks All So Much,
Rhino
P.S. Email is in profile for White Rhino Smoker =-)
