I hear ya Phrygian, I was'nt trying to say that learning theory is not a good idea.
I meant to ask everyone this in my last post. Our band is trying to come up with a good name for ourselves. I would greatly appreciate any ideas...you can email me or just post it here, I check in often when I'm home.

matt king - I'll listen to that music after I'm done here...
kingAlexis - The only recent G3 footage that's available is on the rerelease of John Petrucci's Rock Discipline DVD.
Samira S - You can find some of Joe's books on amazon.com.
Tobes of Ethn - The Bells Of Lal!
Sweet Melissa - Welcome to the site. Are you sure you're completely new here? I seem to remember you (or someone with a username close to yours) from a few years ago...maybe from the Fillmore shows in December 2000. Although it says you live in Ohio, so I'm probably wrong. LOL...
LGU89 - I'll be watching the meteors. :-)
McDave - That "stolen guitar" link just went to the news page. And as more and more news updates were added, the link became kinda pointless. I'm pretty sure the guitar is still missing. As for a name for your band...what kind of music do you play? That'll help me think of some ideas.
For Adun - Why empty garbage when you can eat it, though? J/k...
...Austin...

Austin, we play mostly hard rock. We have an original here and there but it's mostly covers. Metallica, Godsmack, AC/DC, Ted Nugent, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Puddle of Mud, Gun's&Roses, Candlebox, Pearl Jam, and a whole mess load of others I could'nt possibly type out in one sitting...lol...hope that helps :) Oh yeah, I almost left out ZZ Top, I love those guys..

Hi Joe!! Love ya!
McDave, how about "12 pack" for your band name. NOT! LOL! Happy 203rd or somewhere around there?
MegaBoyd, our daughters 14th birthday is coming up on Dec. 2nd, then Christmas after that. Only so much money ~ but if it was at another time of the year, I'd consider it. I'm sure it's a kick~ass show! I'm taking her and 3 of her friends to see Korn on the 11th ~ no more concert funds in the piggy bank.

JOE: I was watching the Live in San Francisco DVD on my computer, and I realized that on this beutiful song called: Until we say goodbye: On the middle solo, it would be great if you guys put some strings in it, like violins and cellos. I rewinded it again and again and overdubbed it with some strings and cello effects in my little Casio synthesizer, and it sounded really great. I think a collaboration with a Classical Orquestra or something would be f'0ckin´cool man. ROCK ON
OH BTW: The Sopranos Rock...you guys see it yesterday??...lol
