I really hope you play Always with me, Always with you, I used this song on my wedding day, as the brides maids and groomsmen were walking down the isle. It was perfect. Good Evening Joe! I just picked up your latest release SUPER COLOSSAL and I think it is one of the GREATEST albums I have EVER heard. Thank you very much for this I owe you one!!!! My FAVORITE song on this one is MADE OF TEARS and even after all these years I always am surprised to know how your music is so FRESH! I am a relatively new fan of yours (2003) and discovering your MUSIC has been a trip!!! My favorite song from your older albums is TIME MACHINE . The only albums of yours left to get is SELF TITLED and ENGINES OF CREATION. I also recently purchased LIVE IN SAN FRANCISCO and it is the GREATEST music DVD I have see to date! I also plan on getting a PEAVEY JS amplifier but I am curious to know why you stopped using MARSHALL amps. I love all tones on all your albums so I CANNOT DECIDE! Should I get a JS head and a MARSHALL CAB or the opposite? LOL. I am looking forward to seeing you in concert Joe and I wish you the best and the WARMEST REGARDS!
CHEERS!
- Paul

Another Rockline for me spent waiting on hold for the whole show :-(
BTW, gotta - you did great! Congrats!
Anyway, I guess I'll try asking my question here:
Joe - You always seem to do a few songs in odd time signatures, like The Meaning of Love, Flavor Crystal 7, New Last Jam, etc., which don't sound forced at all. Does writing in odd time come natural to you?

Joe Satriani You Are Super Colossal
I went down to Best Buy and bought your new CD today. Joe, the release date of a new piece of art from you is such a great day. It reminds me of the feeling I used to get on Christmas morning when I was a kid. I just don't think the employees at Best Buy enjoyed a thirty eight year old man running to the "S" section of the Rock / R&B isle in flannel feetie jammies....... Just kidding.......
Anyway, great ear candy once again. You have produced another motivating piece of music.
I thank you for your contribution and continuation, your dedication and your inspiration, your......... your......
well ya know.

I've been a fan of Joe's since my high school computer teacher introduced me to "Surfing with the Alien" back in '02. I wonder if Joe has given any thought to an all blues album....that woudl be awesome. I love his blues pieces the most.

Hello Joe, I just wanted to thank you for giving me an unbelievable experience. Today(march 15,'06) I got to meet you. I was totally blown away. You are a very humble human being, you are not stuck up or anything like that. You are one cool cat, man. I took my nephew with me and you made his day too.Thank you for answering my question. I asked you "which one of your solos would you say is the hardest to play?" And you gave me an awesome answer. Thanks again, this is something I'll never fprget.

I love the new CD! Every single track is fantastic. "It's So Good" is such a cool groove man. "Crowd Chant" is going to be awesome in concert, I can already imagine the energy this song will produce.
You're a great guy Joe. Cool personality and a top-notch musician. Thanks for creating such fantastic music.

Kayla, you got through! It was good to hear your voice... Chris, I'm working on those signature pedals, but I wish I had more time... Dave, I try my best to make odd time songs feel like they're not, just my way of searching for the perfect groove I guess... Big thanks to everyone in L.A. and San Diego for making the in-stores so cool, and to Bob and everyone at Rockline, and all the callers too!... Joe
