Matt - If your wedding is in at least 7 months, i'll be there if i'm welcome. And the first show I can come and see, i'll let you know... unless you ever come to Ontario for a gig or something.
What's this about endorsement??? BMC?
COOL POSTER, you just had to throw in the quote eh? It's good.

matt king, cool poster....is that a JS-1000wh that you are cradling whilst doing the famous Joe Satriani scream? You guys seem like pro's...good luck to you! What kind of equipment do you play through if you don't mind me asking?
sinnister footwear, a bass player in a band I was in years ago, used to rub Johnson's baby powder on his hands because they sweat too much. Seemed to work for him.
Joe Satriani, you never did tell us about the problems you were having with your guitars.

ethn - I'm pretty sure I have a version of Time Machine. I'll look for it tonight and let you know.
crushingday62 - The EP has 5 songs on it. The last 4 appear on Time Machine (the same original versions...they weren't rerecorded). The first song, Talk To Me, was unable to be included because there were problems with the master tapes. You can find that song on Morpheus or Kazaa, though.
punkdude75 - Happy 100!

myguru - the only reason that comes to mind that you'd have access problems with the live chat is if your browser isn't sending HTTP_REFERER as it should. i believe some newer versions of IE have problems with this, and it may be related to security settings. try playing with that and see if it helps.
webcast download - the rehearsal footage should be available indefinitely. the live footage that was part of the live webcast won't be available for download for legal/rights reasons.

Clarky,
I beg to differ... Tapper asked for the effect that resembled two guitars playing in unison... it sounds to me that you are describing a pitch shifter/harmonizer of some kind. This would be right, but I took unison to also mean the same note. This effect is the chorus, and is one wave superimposed upon another. The essential element here is that there is NO automatic phase shift of the wave. With the chorus, we have a phase difference of I think usually less than 10 ms. If you're talkin phase shifts, the flanger continuously changes phase, which is why it has the "swoosh" sound to it.
I'm sure you and I both know that I mean no disrespect by disagreeing with you, but I am truly certain that I am right. If you still think I'm wrong, I'd be glad to provide you with some links that go deeper into the physics of guitar effects...

Clarky it's odd that you should mention using your 2120 through a Marshall 8008 - that's what I use in my basement studio. I have the Marshall in a rack and the 2120 in a padded rack bag that I take from home to band practice. I use my Peavey there at practice (which stays there of course because it's a beast to move). Speaking of the 8008, it's totally durable...I've had it nothing less than cranked for the last 5 years I've had it and I have had zero and I mean ZERO problems with it. Anyway....I'm off to satchland!

Austin,lol.Sorry :)
If I had my way,He would never play it again,or if he did,it would be with another guitarist, trading licks back and forth, with a crazy drummer behind the kit.
If I had my way he would Improvise a ton more, like all over his ballads, like "Always......."etc.
Of course,I would be mobbed and killed, but that's the way it is,lol.
