r6r - I guess vibrato arm is more correct but it sounds pretty bad dont it..... lol... whammy does me just fine..... lol
Ya Yo - what are these scales that r6r talks of.... I think I missed / overlooked the thread..... let me know and I'll try to work them out...
Ovation - I think that the main difference between the stuff on the MD I sent you and the IUMA is thematic content. The album stuff is built around ideas that repeat, get modified and generally flipped around.
Middle ages???? lol... I think I know what you mean... the periods that appear in the compositions range from 1680 through 1870.. so there are overtones of JS Bach and Mozart in Requiem... Wagner and Elgar in The Chosen One, Beethoven in The Raft of the Medusa... etc.. It really was fun writing this stuff.. especially the orchestral, choral and church organ parts... trying to get the 'authentic' sounds but without loosing the power of the metal riffs...... quite a challenge...
Favoured Nations...... me getting signed... don't I wish...
Your package arrived today.... thank you so very much.. the Samauri figure... it's absolutely beautiful and is now on display next to a very nice scale model I have of a Strat... You will have your Jap bonus track... I've checked out the pics and text... I can see your angle...I'll try to depict the discipline, strength, control, passion and awe of the Samauri.. I need to try to get my hands on some traditional Japanese music so that I can blend it with some orchestral metal...... hmmmmmm.... definately can be done.....
Thanx a million... I really appreciate it..

Hey Joe this is A.J. one of your great fans. I saw you at the autograph session in L.A. at the warehouse this year, and was just wondering if you will be attending the NAMM convention this year. I would love to see you there. This will be my first time ever going.

Holy crap!!!!A tie!!!!!dude, this is turning out good.
Remember YOUR VOTE DOES NOT COUNT UNLESS YOU HELP KEEP SCORE!!!! :D (damn loopholes)
It would be different if theis were a forum but I cant spend all day going back through every post.I do have a life.....I think.
DCK-Yeah,but Im trying not to be boastful and cruel about it.I first heard Joe when I was 7.He is the single most influential, and therefore, important person in my life, aside from my Dad.Joe means so much to me.His music has guided me through the toughest time, and inspired me to achieve.I attribute all of my drive, and proficiency on guitar to Joe,not to mention how I look at life.As Zappa said "...Music is THE BEST!!"
TIME MACHINE!!!!!!EOC!!!!!HOOK ME UP WITH WHAT I NEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Twig - I just went outside to look at the "Big Bad Moon". It looks pretty cool...thanks for telling me. ;-)
drafter37 - I love the TM2 intro to Circles as well.
Tobes of Ethn - In your face!!! LOL...I hope Flavor Crystal 7 wins. ;-) It's weird to hear that it's your least favorite song on EOC. It's probably my fourth favorite (after Borg Sex, Champagne?, and Devil's Slide).
...Austin...

You ripper on the Banana Mango!
I vote for Trundrumbalind!!! 8-7 (I think you'll find someone cheated and added 2 for FC7...)
(although I prefer Echo a thousand times above all the other non-common time songs)
Phrygging Doormat: (ala Dr Evil: open the frigging door...or was it fricking?) He's not going anywhere without my knowing, thankhim very much. His band are still up-and-coming (both guitarists are still at college) but they've started recording at a friend's studio set-up. Give them a few years and they'll be well known.
