Mayonnaise

Most people don't know that back in 1912, Hellmann's mayonnaise was manufactured in England.

In fact, the Titanic was carrying 12,000 jars of the condiment scheduled for delivery in Vera Cruz, Mexico, which was to be the next port of call for the great ship after its stop in New York.

This would have been the largest single shipment of mayonnaise ever delivered to Mexico. But as we know, the great ship did not make it to New York.

The ship hit an iceberg and sank, and the cargo was forever lost.

The people of Mexico, who were crazy about mayonnaise, and were eagerly awaiting its delivery, were disconsolate at the loss.

Their anguish was so great, that they declared a National Day of Mourning, which they still observe to this day.

The National Day of Mourning occurs each year on May 5th and is known, of course, as Sinko de Mayo.

WHAT!!!! You expected something educational from me?

Zenfish - Yngwie IS working on another Concerto Suite/classical type album.

However, it's very much a work in progress, and he's only working on it when he's got time. He's very happy with his rock stuff at the moment, apparently, and needs to take a lot of time off from that to concentrate on something as complicated as a classical-style album.

But don't rule it out, it seems as though it's definitely on the agenda. :D

I'll be able to give you an opinion sometime towards the end of the week I reckon. It's being posted tomorrow evening (at the latest) because of the easter holiday being awkward with the postal service as you're probably aware.

GOTTAHAVEJOE: Click on the post button, and under the text window, it explains the HTML script that you must put into your post to create a link button in your post. It takes a second to setup but it's easy, just follow Jon's instructions. Let me know if that helps.

Do you guys know how Joe gets that tone on the solo for "The Meaning of Love"? Kinda sounds "tubular" like flanging, but without sweep.

that is in fact complete bollox.... lmao......

so are you coming to get lashed with me and Yoda etc etc before the gig?? lmao..

zen - my 2120 is my multi-FX rack and is at the heart of my rig...
it has a strange issue which makes it restart..
it's on it's way back to the repair shop... I want this machine working properly...
and until I get it back I can't record any guitar at all..
also, I'm on the look out for another 2120 to use as a back-up so I don't get stranded like this again if one of the units fails...
