ok ppl try this out its great to jam too

e------------------------------- b------------------------------- g-------------------------------------------------------- d-7-7-5-5-7-7-5-7-whole---7-5-5-7-7-5-rest---7-7-5-5-7-7-5 a-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-whole---0-0-0-0-0-0-rest---0-0-0-0-0-0-0 e-------------------------------

then after playin this(its two bars length (whole indicates held note and the rest is for a 1/2 note)the rest are quavers all down strokes

e------------------------- b-------------------------- g-------------5-8------------- d---------4-7--------------- a-----3-6-------------------- e2-5---------------------------- all above are quavers then u just repeat the chords its that simple but very effective! i love playin this and its made a great song!

Went back to my former name. Haven't posted for a while but read most of them. Hope all is well with everyone.

And "Probably" usually means its not gonna be long term i'm afraid. Always better to find out sooner than later. You make your decisions, think of the positves, learn from it and make those decisions the right ones for the future.

Getting web page designed just now. I am a lawyer but who wants to be that! Got an amzing band together - but they all live in different countries! A slight problem. Seems to be working though. One of my players turned down Bowie to do this and another toured with The Corrs for 2 years and yet another was on Jerry Lee Lewis' last album. I am very lucky. I just hope it all works out. The guitarist, I mentioned him on here before is incredible. Not a guitarists guitarist but superbly technical - Roy Marchbank. I gave Joe a CD of him playing but I never really expected Joe to listen. Hopefully one day it will be released.

Richard Haier - You seem like a cool dude. I have watched your snippets of video in the past. Keep at it.

Now, the issue someone mentioned "why did Stooo leave". I have been thinking about that. My own take is that it was becoming a 'band' rather than 'Joe'. Rotation and change is good. I do wonder, like several others, if there is more to that though.

later......Ronnie

Hi Joe, Hi Guys

ANIBUR-In case your interested, I finally found out which one of Joes sisters created the design for the ELECTRIC RAINBOW guitar. It was Joan Satriani. And Carol created the design for the RAINFOREST guitar.

H302-Latley I dont know whats gotten in to Ritchie Blackmore. I mean going from rock to folk is a drastic change. He must still be on drugs. If your still in to Deep Purple they got a gig coming up around about june. Their teaming up with Lynyrd Skynyrd. I dont know for sure but im hoping that STEVE MORSE will be with them. iD PREFER IT IF JOE SATRIANI WAS WITH THEM THOUGH.............No offence to steve of course.

I heard that sumone on the site said that the JS1000btb is discontinued I hope this isnt true, im STILL havin trouble with mine and I may need to replace it. The btb is the only colour I like;. If i do replace it ill defenetly get a proper setup done on it..............Thats the mistake I made with the one I got now.

JOE-KEEP DOIN WHAT YOUR DOIN.................ITS WHAT YOU DO BEST......................AND DONT WASH TOO MANY DISHES.

MIKE....................SON OF SMITHERS

It has been quite some time since I logged anything on here. Been horribly out of action.

Did any of the Australian audience see the show on Deep Purple's Machine head on SBS on Thursday night.

Classic footage which bought back some great memories, of a great album. Good stuff indeed.

punkdude - and that is both before and after the 'full frontal'.... what strange things they are....
when you do a full frontal do you use a dessert spoon???
trutina - I do something similar.... write / record.. listen to it for a few days and see if any of it seems wrong, out of place or just crap..... which is why I ended up making changes to my latest The Beheading Of John The Baptist.... changes for the better too I'm glad to say...
crushingday - yep... just do something different and do it for fun... a rut is mostly in the mind... huge amounts of effort of technique etc etc can make things worse... you just get more critical... more up-tight... and so it spirals.... something fun and different is the key to getting all fired up about your playing again..
fablawer - dude... it's been a long long time...... welcome back...
LGU - I am... lol

FabLawyer - Ah, thanks very much for the unexpected compliments. That was so nice, my compliment points for the next year have been used up. Better get some karma points happening. Ok i'll stop.

Clarky - 355 eh? My dad recently purchased a 335 copy. Epiphone Dot.

JSC1 - I had a 335 for a while... a right hand one... the good part was that it was easy to string the other way because the cut-aways are the same top and bottom.... the feal and tone though where not for me....

I've only ever sold 3 guitars... the 335 was one... the others were an SG and an Explorer..... all Gibsons....

Nice guitars but not my thang....
