Punkdude - I use anywhere between 1mm and 2mm. Recently 2mm, because they have very little resistance on the strings what with the very steep curve on the edges.
Ethn - Yeah you mentioned Bhead in a magazine of Guitar Player before he was Buckethead. If you can find out what issue that was, i'll probably have it.
Show tomorrow?
Noona - Fingertips can get moist in water but they always harden up after about 30 minutes or so. If you play right after washing your hands, your finger tips can tear.
Minus Human - Although Becker's licks were really technical and difficult, I didn't find him clean and accurate really. He plays his stuff well but it sound just a little sloppy. His tone probably adds to that because it's really thrashy. That was the 80's. It would probably be a lot different if he didn't get ALS and become stricken to a wheel chair.

Hey Joe,
As I was forced to go on holiday I missed your gig in Birmingham, England. Believe me the French sunshine and beaches didn't make up for it. I was totally gutted. Anyway any chance of touring Europe again in the next couple of years?

Hey Joe, really looking forward to seeing you Tuesday in Anaheim. I was at "Evening With" show iin Thousand Oaks in '99. I definitely think it is the best show format of all the various types of show I've seen you do. My wife and I will be wearing our Unlist shirts. Wish you'd do Motorcycle Driver... Have a great show!

satch72 - yes, i've been totally swamped and have a lot of photos from fans to post to the road section. i'll post here and/or news when i get a chance to process them all. :}
cyber alien - since i'm not involved in shipping the prizes out, i can't give you any more details, alas. but, i do know that slow shipping can take up to 4-6 weeks sometimes so since it's been 2 1/2 weeks, there's still plenty of time for them to arrive. sorry for the delay, but i've been told they have been sent! :}
ibztone - interesting bug report. if you can reproduce it reliably, please email me with details and i'll look into it.

WEBMASTER: No problem, just give me a few days on that. I'm not able to come on here that often due to school and work, so the pages really begin to mount up after a few days. It has happened before, but when it happens again I will let you know with more specifics.

I agree, multiples of three aren't really odd timing. Maybe for rock music they are. It's not common time however...
Party in Simon's Pants!!! Ha ha ha...oink oink oink
R6R: Equestrian / a little hoarse was that pun intended?
Ovation: you mean lol, lol, semilol, lol, lol, lol, semilol?
Phrygian: at least they aren't calling you Christopher Reeve...oh dear...that might have been in bad taste...
Ice-9 Cool-6 WHAT IS THE DEAL?!? "Cool" is the coolest! After all, I can actually play the riff! Never mind.

Hey everyone, just changed my nickname to "Artanis I" from "For Adun"
Don't worry, I will try not to change my personality!!!
Incidentally, for those interested, it's an anagram...you work it out. Artanis is a guy off StarCraft..."consider it donnne" "I concur" "for Aiur" etc.
Whammy debate: in the Australian Macquarie dictionary (not entirely scholarly, but the best we have) it mentions a "vibrato arm" part for electric guitar, which looked to me to fit the description of "whammy bar". It refers to tremolo as causing sound to vary in intensity. I'd always called it tremolo arm. Interesting.
