Sharon - Any decent tattoist should be an artist as well, if you take some design ideas with you you could work a design out together. Don't know where you are but Barry K at Tattoo Crazy, March, Cambridgeshire is very good. If not check out some of the Tattoo Mags, they normally name check good un's with examples of their work. It may cost a bit more but it's for life, and it's a real 'rites of passage' feeling customizing your body. As for the age thing, as old as you feel. I'm 35 and got a one year old daughter, that really gives you a different outlook!

Ovation1 I am curious about this expression 'kuul' you use every now and then.... is that japanese or what? I am asking because in swedish, 'kul' means that something is along the lines of funny, enjoyable, amusing, nice.... much the same that you mean by your expression I imagine, judging from the context you're using it in.....

Wow, it's so hot and muggy right now, time for a sleep soon.
R6rocker- we have a very good tattooist right here where I live, he has won awards for his work so if I do it I will go to him. He did my friend's tatto, celtic design right across the base of her back, she did say the woman next to her passed out though.
Webmaster - sounds like it will be worth tuning in.
Baradi - my husband has family in LeVov, they have come here a couple of times. Father in law wont go back over there though, too close to Chernobyl and he is not a well man now.
Stu-Hacking - you got it right, I got it back to front, should have read me twice my son's age aaaaaaaaah. What is more frightening is that I have known my husband 22 years, you don't get that for murder do you.
Kevb - yes I was centre/front my youngest son was just to my left. Someone was in front of him who disappeared to the loo I expect so he jumped in to the front row spot. You weren't the tall bloke with the long hair were you?
Did someone mention returning to talking about guitars and stuff, I thought those conversations were still going. You can't just talk about guitars ALL of the time. I bet even Joe doesn't talk about them ALL of the time. There are other subjects you know. When I go to dog shows all some people talk about is dogs, breeding, dogs, showing, dogs dogs dogs, it's such a refreshing change when someone talks about other things, for example my friend often changes the subject and talks about her sex life, what toys she uses, the fact that her boyfriend wont play with the toys etc etc.
She has me in stitches.
Just remember Variety is part of the spice of life you know.
LOl Sharon

Dragonchild: kuul, for me, is just a way to describe "cool"...
way too cool is a better way to describe it!! I learned it from one of the guy's here on the old Satchboard, and it looked pretty funky, so I use it when I want to say really cool :-)....

Do you think Al Pitrelli could fill his shoes??

Minus Human - I think Friedman rocked in that band and I haven't even bothered to listen to Megadeth after Friedman.
Phryg Dom - The S have different tremsetters. It's a unit that goes underneath the springs and has 2 spring shafts of it's own.

Dear Satch,
I am a huge fan here in Houston where you will headline with Dream Theater and King's X, this show will be a killer!! Looking forward to your show on the 18th, but will you greet your fans after the show, maybe a smile and some autographs? Last time you where in Houston with G3 in 2001, you were the only G3 member that we did not greet.. hope you share a few seconds with us this time. All the best Joe from yours truly,
LEO

MInus human, yes, I work evenings - but no online computers there. I work part time, so some nights I'm home.
Jon, cool news! Thanks!
Sharon, I totally agree with r6rocker. Check out some magazines & keep your eye open for any interesting designs. Also, if your worried about the pain...it's like everything else. If you want it badly, it's not that bad. If you don't want it, it's gonna hurt like hell (although it hurts like hell anyway! lol!) You have to be in a certain mindset - positive and open (some say crazy?). Healing time is shorter than getting your ears pierced if you want to think about it that way. If your not 100% ready for one, don't get it. Think about it for a while, and if it's meant to be, it will be. Also, start with something small/med. to see how well you tolerate it. Nothing like picking out a bigass design, then crying like a baby by the time the tattooist is halfway through. A family member of mine just did that a few weeks ago. LOL!!! She had wings go from hip to hip, about 3 inches long all the way across. That's some serious pain! Three days later her friends 3 yr. son old walked up to her and smacked her hard with his open hand right in the middle of her tat. I thought she was going to pass out! LOL! Guess he thought it was a nice shiney target? lol!

GRUSKADA- yo dude pick up mega deth's new album (the world needs a hero) pitrelli's work is on it. I was expecting more fretwork madness, but Mustaine shares alot of solos too.
So I could hear more of Pitrelli on Randy Covens work?
MICHELLE-thanx for clearing it up for me

ethn- yo man MD are not out of the game anymore,
mustaine only backed off for a year to let somebody in his place.
You cant say Pitrelli sucks, dude he said that satch is one of his influences, and then Friedman and Pitrelli dont share the same styles.

Kevb - That's ok, standing down on the floor gives a whole new meaning to sardines. I'm glad you weren't in front of me though, I wouldn't have seen a thing.
Michelle - the tattoo thing is still in the thought stages. Although Andy's got one he's not too sure if he wants me to have one. I was surprised on holiday just how many women have them these days.
Speaking of holidays, if anyone is going to Skiathos/Greece go to Skiathos town, there is a little cafe alongside the outdoor theatre that make the most amazing milk shakes.
