WOODMAN - Actually, I have reliable source that has told me that exact thing - "The tour will end in San Francisco" - Which as far as I'm concern, nothing could be more appropriate!
The "CHANT" was born in the City by the Bay.
It's just that I ain't seeing anything posted and i'm beginning to get a little itty bitty teeny tinsy bit nervous. Ya know what I mean.
But, hey if the tour isn't in the schedule for SF - who knows maybe Joe will read our posts...feel our pain and suffering and get it scheduled - Yeah right???
Anyway, take care Woodman and always remember.... "JOE SATRIANI ABSOLUTELY FRIGGIN' ROCKS"!!!!!

The Meaning of Love.....umm Joe I am not sure how long you have been married but this song makes me smile and I wonder if you wrote it for Rubina? I notice you always thank your son and wife in the credits, that's cool as I am sure they support you and are very proud of you. In order of favorites from SC it is The Meaning Of Love clearly #1, A Cool New Way #2, Ten Words #3, It's So Good #4 and the rest follow closely behind. It would be great to hear from the rest of the gang here what all of your fav's are from SC........it's 2 am here in Vegas and work is slowwwwwwwww:>)

Growler, out in the middle of the Pacific? Cool man, whereabouts are you? sorry, I must have missed that too! Anyway, try this link - http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/frame.php?file=car.php&carnum=2697 - to check out the gorgeous new 911 Turbo.
Unfortunately, there were official photos of the car in nice locations and on the road, on that page I've linked to, but they've been replaced by motorshow shots.....they're not as good, but still pretty damn fine! haha, it's a stunning car, I love it.
ibanez is best, best Andy Timmons CD? Hmmm, it's a tough call. The Spoken And The Unspoken is probably my favourite....there's some amazing tunes on there, and some excellent songs too. It's a really strong mix of good vocals, good melodies, and jaw-dropping guitar playing.
If you don't get that then it's got to be the That Was Then, This Is Now compilation, 'cause it's got a bunch of new tracks plus a load of Ear X-Tacy and Ear X-Tacy II tracks on it, plus it's got Electric Gypsy on it which MUST be heard! Andy's playing is always great so you can't go wrong buying any of his stuff, but those are probably the two I'd be torn between!
And then of course, he does have a new album out soon which is destined to kick a whole lot of ass! The compilation does seem a good place to start, especially as it gives you a little insight into just how massively versatile Andy is......far more so than his peers.
js1200js1000, hey bro! Yeah it's all good here, thanks, had a cool enough weekend. How about you amigo?

You’ve done it again! Super Colossal is soulfully mystical … floating dreams wending through space … hauntingly familiar … yet new; pure and clean sounds that penetrate to the core. Blessings Joe … to you and yours. Looking forward to Mezner.

Hey Guys
How are you? Probably very busy I guess... ;)
I don't know if you read this shit often but....
First of all --> your new album is awesome!!
Yet another beautiful piece of art.
A painting belongs to a wall and a JS cd belongs to the
cd player! Logic all the way!
..I'm 19 years old (living for music) and a really big fan of JS Always dreaming away in the mind-blowing music you make
BUT from all the years listening I've never seen you guys play live!
I'd like to ask if you please could visit HOLLAND this year during the tour 'cause I'm really looking forward to see you guys perform on stage !!
Greets and good luck with everything
Ingmar

soapie....it means that when you arrive at the venue for yer Platinum experience, John Iverson (if he's still handling the plat people) will have your tickets waiting for you and give them to you some point before the show. The most important thing for you to do, is to wear your laminate and get there ON TIME so you don't miss out!!!

JOe! :D! :D yAOOOOOO!!!! :D Hey! You know what me and my friends think would be cool... :o wait... oh yeah! um... wait! damn! i forgot! wait a second....OH YEAH! if you made a symphonic type of song! :D yeah... i dont know if you've heard of "X-JAPAN" (they broke up like in 1994) but yeah their music is really moving... Even if the lyrics are in Japanese, the lyrics dont need to be translated in order for the... song to be understood. If you made a song with your style and incorporated X-Japan's symphonic vibe i think you'd have a hit! :D you can check out X-Japan's "Silent Jealousy" on my myspace page. :D
www.myspace.com/hac96818.
or you can go here to watch the music video
http://youtube.com/watch?v=v4GjsKKHGD4
I can't explain what is so moving about XJ's Music but... its just like.... its like a story... almost all their music have intros... rising actions, CLIMAXes! HUGE CLIMAXes! then almost perfect falling action... parts... :P, and yeah.. Its just like a story. like a movie. but you see it in your imagination.. :P its really cool. And if you were to make something like that... :o I dont know....
I'm not saying that your music is not good. ITS AWESOME! :D Everytime i listen to it... I guess... im inspired to become a better guitarist. :D But if you were to make at least one song with symphonic metal and guitar virtuoso like elements incorporated into it... I think a lot of people would like it. -Bert
(P.S. I shall repost this message a lot because the symphonic metal/ guitar instrumental song idea sounds really cool) :D Latterr!
-Bert

civgeek,
If you turn your speakers off, you can't listen to anything (like the new CD). IRC is a text based chat system which has been around for a very long time. One programmer has made an irc program call mIRC, but there are many others which work well. It's just an interface which allows you to connect to specific servers. mIRC is the most common and you can do a lot of modification to suit your needs. Plus, there isn't that annoying beep.

Hello Mr. Satriani. Check out these really cool, yet somewhat expensive Silver Surfer statues! They're on this site:
http://shop.acmemoviestore.com/index.php?products_themas_id=189
Won't one of those look really cool in your studio at home?
Super Colosall rules. It's a bit weird here and there (tracks 3 and 6) but overall it's really cool.

ICEMAN II - delay, don't you mean ECHO? ;-)
Just got that album, actually, but I can't bear to take Super Colossal out of my CD player. I'll probably listen to it in a few weeks, and post a mini-review.
Jon - GREAT job with the CD release concert. Joe, nice background music (just kidding, of course). I've got a bunch of links coming your way, Jon. I just need to organize them all.
HAC96818 - reposting your idea isn't going to affect Joe's decision making. He did talk about doing a symphonic-type of album before, but said he didn't want to do a Metallica S&M type of thing. He also said in another interview that he thinks guitar doesn't seem to fit right with an orchestra. Anyway, he definitely has thought about it, and if he can think of a way to make it work, I'm sure he'll do it at some point.
wwwdotcomhere - thanks for your help! What was your YouTube idea for Satriani fans? I didn't completely understand it. It might be interesting to post it here.
