JS Clone1 ZZ was actually 10 last October, not 16. The 5th or 2nd. I found this info from a news site on the internet , stating that he was born in 1992!
Happy new Year to everyone, please take a peek at my son's website http://www.paulfielding.co.uk please write back on here and tell me what you would give it out of 10...? if the link does not work type it in up the top...

Smithers - I read more from Vai.com and I also got the idea that the next Steve Vai album will be some kind of concept album. A musical or something like that. And the artists on the album are propably less-known musicians who are inspired by Steve.

i'd say Joe Satriani 2, EOC 2 cos i lthere are some really good songs on JS like (you're) my world and cool #9 but it's blues rather than inventing a new style. Engines of creation is a guitar/electronica fusion and i don;t know of anyone who has done something quite like that.

smithers - I don't think EJ will be in the UK in the spring...sorry. I'm on his official mailing list and have heard nothing about it. I don't think he's been to Europe since after Ah Via Musicom came out in the early 90s. He almost certainly wouldn't go there now, without much of a new album to promote. He does have a new CD out that you can buy through MP3.com. Or if you wait a few weeks, you'll be able to buy it directly from EJ's website. The CDs have been ordered and should be in any day now.
Sibelius - Joe comes here every now and then. You can probably buy the SWTA book from [link]http://www.amazon.com/[/hr].
Cleetus - Joe hasn't been in the chat room in a LONG time.

Stu Not Boo and JSClone-I turned 13 on December 1st. Well Joe thanked ZZ in Surfing with the alien cd pamplet and that was made in 1987. Did he add it for the remastering? Don't know.
JSClone-No, that I loved Jeff. I do have a HUGE crush on him but I don't love him...or do I?? LOL! IF you see that maybe Rubina and ZZ pic, send me the link!

hey, a new vote thang!
Joe Satriani ~3, E.O.C. ~2
Joe's self-titled cd is the one I fell in love with. That ol' "if you were stuck on a desert island and could only take 3 cd's" question would make Joe's cd #1 on my list. Maybe Metallica's black album would be #2. I'd have to think about #3? lol!

Howdy, howdy! what a strange christmas I've had this year. I've had to take a lot of steroids for my colitis(inflammation of the intestine) and the mood swings are unreal. I understand a little better now what women go through when their hormones are kick'n, not good at all.
On the lighter side, I hope everybody had a great Christmas and a big happy New Year to all!
I have been writing a lot of new tunes for a solo project I've been working on and I'm real excited about the way it has been coming along. The songs are coming so easy it's scary.
The production has been slow going because I'm doing all the work myself but, I'm learning a lot about recording.
I've been listening to a lot of old delta blues, raw stuff like Robert Johnson and Blind Willie Johnson. I also have been experimenting with Alternate and open tunings for a few years now which has opened up a whole new landscape of song writing for me, along with the new studio tricks I've been learning these tunes are really coming alive beyond what I could've hoped for.
JOE: is there a chance you may come to Florida on your evening w/ joe tour this coming year?
