njbeast - I think most people would like to see a Satch Tapes 2, but what would be on it? Joe doesn't really have any other music videos, and the webcast stuff isn't "official release" quality...

opticalstudio - Thanks for emailing me your info. I've been kicking the idea around for the past six months or so, but I didn't really do anything with it. Someone brought it up again recently, so I thought I'd throw a page together. Don't worry about not sending stuff fast enough...I haven't even uploaded the first version of the page yet. ;-)

Things are good here...I'm leaving for the airport (flying home for Thanksgiving) in about 24 hours. I have to finish up some homework tonight and then pack, and tomorrow I have to register for next semester's classes and take a test. After that, I'm outta here... Woohoo...

How are you doing?

dan613 - Go here for a JS biography that includes stuff up to 1998.
Roland2112 - "I dont mean to pull a Do The Stu here"

Go ahead, as long as that isn't the same as pulling a Homer. ;-)

Noppa - "I'll get back to you when I've listened them all (once I have a bit more time)...very interesting..."

Okay, cool. I might send you a few more songs before I leave tomorrow, but don't feel rushed to listen to them right away. Take your time listening to them, let me know what you like and don't like, and I'll continue to send you more songs.

MadMack - Hi... Go to 107.7 The Bone and have yourself a listen.

Most radio stations in the US don't play Satch's music, but this one does every now and then.

Zinc Master - "Answering Service At Mental Institute"

LOL...that was a test in the psychology class I took back in high school. We had a list of all of the first parts of the statements, and we had to match them to the correct second parts. It was fun... ;-)

SupaaDave - "does anyone remember the good ol' days when you could'nt post more than once every 2 or 3 hours? How long was it actually?"

It was once every four hours.

...Austin...

zinc, one dog year equals 7 human years.

SupaaDave, it was one post every 4 hours, and it sucked.

Steven, I think that game with JFK is a new low. Bet people wouldn't be to cool about it if they came out with one on MLK. I guess nothing is sacred these days?

Stevee, ha, thanks for the compliment. lol! I'd say my face was more like a laughing Buddha than an angel. lol! I'm a Leo, or to tie into Jazzy's post under yours, Maybe I'm A Leo. lol!

Joe, The ending part of "TIME" is "OUT OF THIS WORLD!" Echos (live) off Time Machine is my favorite song of yours.

P.S. Is there a specific technique or anything guitar-wise you and Steve Vai are in awe of each other???

Michelle,

Yes, Dave Mustaine's arm is back to 100%. At one point in the show he said..."A doctor told me I would never play guitar again. Looks like it's working pretty well!" (At this point, Dave is raising his left hand in the air and wiggling his fingers in the air). Again, the show was great,..they might do another US run in 2005...check it out if you get the chance.

opticalstudio, cool man, would like to see photos when they're up! Keep me posted! No I don't think I've got any tunes that are marketable! hehe, I wish. The only way I reckon that could happen would be with a project like the t2j CD!

Zinc Master/jazzzzy, yeah the Raggeddy Ann and Pinocchio one was what killed me too! Nice one Zinc
michelle, happy 2000, and regards that videogame where you have to shoot John F.....that's sick....who does come up with this stuff?

also, that photo you took of Joe and his Mom is great, it's so sweet!

achoo, man I agree with that....I personally find christmas music to be on a par with circus music and clowns. *shudders*

Dizzy, glad to hear some good news about Mustaine. I was bummed when he got hurt.

Simon, nice tunes on your site. The first one was good enough, but the second song had me with the bounce :) lol! Great tunes! I almost broke my neck getting that picture of Joe and his mom. lol! I stood up on one of the seats to get a clear shot. What I forgot was that the seat cushion was not stable, so when I went to change my foot position and put to much weight on the back of the seat, the seat cushion flipped up and I was sucked down between the back of the chair and the cushion part. OMG it was the funniest thing ever!! There I stood, stuck IN the chair, one foot in front of the other, and had to wedge my legs out of it. I can only imagine how funny it was for anybody who seen some girl (me) pop up out of nowhere, then quickly disappear. lmao! I was a tad embarrassed, but it was just sooo damn funny! I had to hand the camera to my husband to get the shot of Joe and his mom. She was so sweet. I had the pleasure to talk to her for a few minutes. She's very proud of her son, and just looked so jazzed to be there and mingle with us all.

zinc, I had that sooo backwards. lol!

Stevee, it's crappy and cloudy here too, and it's sucking the life out of me! lol! But hey, it could be worse. It's floodin' down in Texas...

SOTD - Texas Flood

Prayers to the people in Texas.

cuthbert - I was thinking about this "universe being only 6000 years old" thing..

it raises an interesting question....

the visible universe from Earth is something like a few 10's of billions of light years in every direction....

and that's not the extreme edge of our universe.. just the bit we can see and measure....

high energy gamma ray sources have been detected at around 50 billion light years away. These are highly focused 'jets' of energy streaming out of the poles of ancient, massive, rapidly rotating stars as their cores collapse into black-holes shortly after a supernova event....

sorry bro... but the 6,000 years thing just don't sit well with my understanding of the Earth, the solar system and the little fragment of the universe that is known about...
I'm not trying to trigger a religious debate or start some kind of pissing contest... but stuff like this makes me think. "well how can this be?"..
and that triggers me to search for answers....

Zen - check your e-mail..
jazzy - the greatest cause for a big ego is in fact actually having a big dick... knowing it's big.. and showing everyone...

then it'll be perfectly reasonable when everyone one says..

"man... xxxx is such an egotistical ass-hole... but jeez.. seen the size of his dick... it's pretty impressive.."

if I had a big dick I'd have a big ego too... and be proud of it... lmao..

slansh - the across the pond thing confused me.... across the pond to me means the other side of the Atlantic... but you know I'm English and living in England....

when I saw that I was like "huuuh???" lol...

zinc - when telemarketers call I just tell the in a nice polite voice... fuck off I'm not interested...

and if we all lived on Pluto we'd die before our first birthday... no party... no cake.. no pressies... no birthday BJ...

Pluto sucks....

optical - lmao.. The Baptist.... lmao.. this track is really really tough... Sunday night I was sitting listening to the lead parts in little sections trying to learn it.... it reminded me of me 15 years ago trying to learn all the Malmsteen, Satch and Vai stuff... lol... but I'm trying to learn me... and guess what... I'm really struggling with it too.. lmao....

when I cut that solo on the demo I must have been in tip top form... cos it's a fucking nightmare..... and trying to play it is putting me right on the ragged edge....

but then... that's the place to be.. lol..

So did I miss much- ha ha ha ha............... ;-)

So I've lurked on the odd occassion but I thought I raise the post count by another one.............

Zinc Master Nice jokes man.................. on the telemarketing, my sis-in-law dealt with a call from a promotions agency telemarketer who was very rude to her, basically she wouldn't put him through and when she asked what it was in connection with he said that it was none of her business, that he didn't have to tell her and then hung up. Well she's a fiirey little thing, so she rang directory enquiries, got the number of his company, rang up and said 'Could I speak to Gary please'................. he's like 'Hello ?' and she says (very politely) 'Hello this is Justine from *****, I spoke to you a minute ago and I've just rung up to tell you what an extremely rude and ignorant little man you are'............. he's like 'Okay, thankyou.'. in a sheepish voice.............ha ha ha man, she put him in his place and all without being rude or swearing.Nice work!

Michelle Hi ya lady ! ;-) I don't know how you find the time/energy to carry on your posting rate and still stay so beautiful ;-) Give my regards to Cap'n Morgan !!!!!!

Cube Never mind posting in here bro'................ get your live journal updated !!!! ;-)

So it looks like Mikey as lowered the post count a bit ? I've been finding it hard to find the time to get in here so I know how he feels. I don't think I'll be posting regularly but I'll be lurking, feel free to e mail though. 'Hi!' to Clarky, Slanshroom and Tastey (is Stace still around ?) and Martina it's nice to see you back again :-)

I've got to try to pull a Do The Stu ................. the font of all knowledge lives and breathes ! Nice one Austin.

Hope all you guys are good. Be nice to each other now - lmao

Later
