MALADROIT: You should hang out by the bus after the show. Everytime I've done that (I recall 5 different times) Joe has come out and signed stuff. Be ready to stand there for at least an hour. I made the mistake of having my girlfriend there with me once, not doing that again!! Good luck!!

Hey there Joe! I am hoping you can somehow squeeze in a show in minneapolis this time around! When you were here last year my 15 yr old son met you outside the state theater and got a picture with you! I have met you twice and appreciate the time you take for fans and how "normal" you are!! Thanks!! You are the only musician i have purchased a cd from and given it to a friend who has never heard your music......the cd depends on them and which one i think they would like most!! Good thing you left that football team huh!! haha

Just rediscovered Chris Whitley and discovered he's sorely missed too . . . . . . poison girl . . . . . this realy takes me back, my mates thought I had branched out into country, but his stuff was way too cool.

Can't wait for the new cd, guess I'm not the only one - Joe, comin' to see you on the 22nd in Glasgow, drove past the 'I just wanna rock house' in April on a 'round the world holiday' didn't have the audacity to knock, nor the guitars with me to sign!

Joe, I saw you several times in the late 80's and early 90's at the the State Theater in Kalamazoo, MI. I haven't seen you back in some time and was wondering if you were considering this venue in the future or if you had some problems there (too small, mgmt, etc). Been following you since 87' and "Surfing" and still love your music. Keep it real (and rockin').

does the damp cold october weather of the northern british climate not pose problems for you with regards to warming up and loosening the old pinkies? i know being a resident that it poses problems for myself. if i were to play in england i woulld do so in may or june when the climate favours freedom of the hands. i know that this is a rediculous question because if it were you would not be coming here in autumn. kind regards simon. oh and i forgot to mention being a fan since the age of twelve (24 years) that you have been a consistently positive influence upon my life. I look rorward with glee to the opportunity to see you live in my home town of manchester for the first time (shame on me) in the fourthcoming future, take it easy and be healthy, wealthy and happy in every respect once again with kind regards. sy.

Time to head towards bed....as I push in my keyboard desk and reach to shut down the computer, it's so good to know how much I'm loved....by the 4 furry butts who have all been sitting in a ring around me the past 20 minutes, staring with nary a blink, willing me with everything they have in their lil brains to get UP, walk to the KITCHEN and give them their nightly food treat.....they know when the puter goes dark, it's party time!!

WOOT! Night all :)

Edit: PSYCHE! They thought they had me but I'm back to say...

Love ya Joe! Can't wait for the new cd, and tour to follow!

i though id share a ticket issue....got row AA for Nokia Theater NY VIP package which stated within first 5 rows...uh..im 5th row?..thats right...they have have rows AAA -DDD and now the ViP packs are at row 7 though misleading at row CC...these triple ticket seats seem to never be available to anyone and make the whole seating deal a disappointment when you get there...at least im prepared for the worst...i always hated this place, Joe...and dreaded it when i saw the announcement..though because of General Admission deal from the Super Collosal tour there..though reserved now..same bull@#%^deal ..Palace Theater, Beacon Theater were excellent places and much easier to park..:)...and no surprises...except good ones

Hey Joe: Thanks for signing and drawing on my guitar. I took it apart, scraped a lil finish off the body where the neck meets it, and put some good quality wood glue in the seat. Glued it and now it won't wiggle. Like everything that is handled or used alot, the screws work loose a lil and the wood contracts and expands. I have a JS1200 and it's a nice guitar.

Tightening up loose screws seems to be my specialty! lol

Was a great show that I attended a couple of years ago. Hopefully soon, I will see Joe again. He never comes to Alaska. Needs some funding from radio/event sponsor but they have trouble getting seats sold. I know Joe wouldn't have any trouble filling up seats in Alaska. How about everybody kicking in some loot to get him up here? Or pre-sales on tickets to get a kick-start...up the price on each ticket. It's hard to see artists up here, it's like we are another country...but we are USA! Just fly up, put on a show with your guitar. Not much overhead there, and you'll make bank. I'm sure we can find you a local sound system...just a thought.

Just got back from Vacation in Victoria British Columbia. I had the chance to visit the Long & McQuade was checking out a JEM guitar and i asked the dude there if he had any JS models. He said the following..." Yea we did, but Joe Satriani bought it." I said "Yeah right". He said, "No SERIOUSLY, man! We got a call a few weeks ago and it was Joe on the phone asking if we could ship it to Vancouver where he was recording at the time. He gave us his VISA number and everything, it was friggin cool."

That little story made my trip.

Is it true Joe?

michelle BBunny, ya can't go wrong seeing Metallica! U2 I'll never see. Ticketrape just isn't my thing. Same thing is going on here. All the great shows I wanna see are on sale within like, a months time. Got tickets for Disturbed, and now Joe. Just saw that Davy is about 80+ miles from here tonight. Dammit! They just couldn't space it out a bit, could they? lol!

Michelle - MetallicA are my fav. band! >=:) going to 6 concerts, flying to 2 other aussie cities so i've spent some $$$. i got 2 shows in Sept. 2 in Oct. 2 in Nov.

who's Davy?

BB -I am probably looking forward to Vai more than Joe for the next tours aswell in a strange way havin never actually seen a Vai solo show only the short setlist from G3
But in saying that Give me an evening with show like the 05 ITLIS tour and i'd miss Vai backstage pass and all :) :) that was one hell of a Setlist and 2 awesome nights of pure joy.

As for G3 maybe they could open for Chickenfoot late 2011 :) i'd prefer they all done solo shows in Oz which by the looks of it Joe will be here early 2011 Vai sometime in 2011 so just need Gilbert to do a solo show which after this cd should have shitloads of material to pick from to do a tour Downunder rather than G3 and get Chickenfoot out here later in the year.

Wishful Thinking but wouldn't that Rock.

Hey Joe,

Please come back to North Carolina soon. Saw you play with Chickenfoot in Charlotte, it was awesome. Huge fan since 1993 -- Time Machine 1st CD I bought. Can't wait for your new album and to added it to my Satriani collection.
