Mr. Steven Trott, it is now my sincerest wish....remember I told you I'd think of something you could do to repay me???? (Hold on to your hat, it's gonna be baaaaaaaaaad)

I HAVE DECIDED!!!

I HAVE DECREED THAT:

YOU.........

SHALL IMMEDIATELY, IF NOT SOONER............

Hustle your buns out to the nearest store and buy the Live In San Francisco DVD and watch it numerous times until your chrome boy baby arrives!! Ya saved money buying this one man!!! Instead of the new chrome boy!!! So hopefully, unless you're still saving for the JSPRM or whatever the heck it's called, ya should have $25 bucks or so to treat yourself to this unbelievable DVD!!!! Go forth and conquer!!! :)

a big HEY to all on the T2J board - it's everyone's favorite rodent here ;D

Stevee T Men at Work :) i don't mind that song - i much prefer Icehouse's 'Great Southern Land' - that's a cool song about Oz :) remember Vegemite = yum

estrela no, i'm not biking to the gig :) 2 days before the show i'm going in a Bike Hike (30km) - main roads are shutting down a big chunk of the freeway & for a whole 30km it will just be us peddlers!! weeee i'm hoping to finish the 30km in under 90mins......i got a bit more training to do. yesterday was that humid, it took me 99mins to reach 30km.....i felt like shite for about half the ride, don't know why? i'm hoping it was just the weather :)

the cats are doing good thanx! Pookie almost got in a fight last night - this b&w cat keeps coming into his territory....it's about half his size. either it's stupid or one brave kitty! how's Felix treating you? not working you too hard i hope! you know what they say about cats - 'dogs have owners, cats have staff' ;) speaking of cats check out this story

Cat Survives 10-Mile Trip on Top of Car

Fri Mar 4, 7:29 AM ET Top Stories - AP

INKOM, Idaho - Torri Hutchinson's cat might just have one less life to live. Hutchison was driving along Interstate 15 one day recently when a motorist kept trying to get her attention and pointing to the roof of her car.

She said she was wary of the man, but wondered if perhaps her ski rack might have come loose.

She pulled over to the side, but kept her doors locked and the motor running.

The man pulled up behind her. Hutchinson rolled down her window to hear the man frantically shouting, "Your cat! Your cat!"

He reached for the roof of her car and handed the shocked Hutchinson her orange tabby.

She had driven about 10 miles with the cat on top of the car, and didn't even notice the feline when she stopped for gas.

Hutchinson said Cuddle Bug, or C.B. for short, had climbed into the back of her car as she was getting ready to leave. She put him out, but he must have jumped on the roof while she wasn't looking, she said.

Diary of a Brisbane summer (by a Pom)

August 31st

Just got transferred with work into our new home in Brisbane!! Now this is a city that knows how to live!! Beautiful sunny days and warm balmy evenings. What a place! I watched the sunset from a deck chair on the verandah. It was beautiful. I've finally found my home. I love it here.

September 13th:

Really heating up. Got to 35 today. Not a problem. Live in an air-conditioned home, drive an air-conditioned car. What a pleasure to see the sun everyday like this. I'm turning into a sun worshiper.

September 30th:

Had the backyard landscaped with tropical plants today. Lots of palms and rocks. What a breeze to maintain. No more mowing lawn for me. Another scorcher today, but I love it here.

October 10th

The temperature hasn't been below 30 all week. How do people get used to this kind of heat? At least today it's kind of windy though, but getting used to the heat and humidity is taking longer that I expected.

October 15th:

Fell asleep by the pool. Got 3rd degree burns over 60% of my body. Missed 3 days of work. What a daft thing to do. I learnt my lesson though. Got to respect the ol' sun in a climate like this.

October 20th:

I didn't see Kitty our cat, sneaking into the car before I left his morning. By the time I got to the hot car at lunchtime, Kitty had died and swollen up to the size of a shopping bag and stank out. $3,000 worth of leather upholstery. I told the kids that she ran away. The car now smells like Whiskettes and cat shit. I learnt my lesson though. No more pets in this heat.

October 25th:

The wind gives me the shits. It feels like a giant bloody blow dryer!! And it's as hot as hell. The air conditioner is on the blink and the AC repairman charged $200 just to drive over and tell me he needed to order parts.

October 30th:

Been sleeping outside by the pool for 3 nights now. Bloody $450,000 house and we can't even go inside. Why did I ever come here?

November 4th:

It's 35 degrees. Finally got the ol' air-conditioner fixed today. It cost $500 and gets the temperature down to 25, but this bloody humidity makes the house feel like it's about 30. Stupid repairman. I hate this bloody place.

November 8th:

If another smartass says, "Hot enough for you today?" I'm going to throttle him. Bloody heat. By the time I get to work the car's radiator is boiling over, my clothes are soaking wet, and I smell like baked cat!!

November 9th:

Tried to run some errands after work. Wore shorts, and sat on the black leather seats in the ol' car. I thought my ass was on fire. I lost 2 layers of flesh and all the hair on the back of my legs. Now my car smells like burnt hair, fried ass, and baked cat.

November 10th:

The weather report might as well be a bloody recording. Hot and sunny. Hot and sunny. Hot and sunny. It's been too hot to do anything for 2 damn months and the weatherman says it might really warm up next week. Doesn't it ever rain in this damn place? Water rationing will be next, so my $2,000 worth of palms will dry up and blow into the bloody pool. Even the palms can't live in this heat.

November 14th:

Welcome to HELL!!! Temperature got to 38 today. Now the air conditioner in my car has gone. The repairman came to fix it and said, "Hot enough for you today, mate?" My wife had to spend the $2,500 house payment to bail my ass out of jail for assaulting the repairman. Bloody Brisbane.

What kind of a sick demented idiot would want to live here?

December 1st:

WHAT????? This is the first day of summer???? You are fuc*ing kidding me!!

michelle - LOL...that's a funny phone story. I've had stuff like that happen to me a few times with a friend of mine. A few years ago, his music room (with guitars, guitars, guitars, keyboards, and drums) doubled as an office. I forget how it would happen, but occasionally my friend would bump the printer / fax / phone as he was playing, and it would redial the last number he had called (which usually turned out to be my number). So...I'd pick up the phone and just hear him jamming away. It was confusing the first few times it happened, but then it was cool. :-)

Zinc Master - Cool... I don't know if I'd want to see Motley Crue in concert, though. I guess I'm only a casual semi-fan. How much were the tickets?
SupaaDave - Congrats! :-)

Click here to see my recent posts, if you still can't find them...

big bad moon 1889 - No, I don't think that's Joe...
Dino Elf - Hi...I like the new name. :-)
muzic4me5150 - You can find Additional Creations on Ebay every now and then. Expect to pay up to $50 for it.
JS JS - Hi...what have you been up to lately?

962 and VFRocker- I think you guys are right about good equipment inspiring (to some degree) more practice and better results. The summer before last I graduated from my cheap beginner's Ibanez to my nicer (not as cheap) Ibanez Artcore. I loved the feel and tone of that guitar after that cheesy one I had and I started practicing quite a bit more. Then a month later I bought my first effects pedal ever- a ZOOM multi-effects processor. I wish I had gone with one of the other brands in retrospect; but nontheless I had fun trying out all those cool effect pre-sets and found myself quickly developing improvisation skills in many styles where I had virtually none before.

All in all these things just made me play more and that's always a good thing. As soon as I can find a way to justify the expendeture (when I have more work-hours)... I will be getting a JS1000!

962- I'm pretty clueless when it comes to hardware... what are some of the things that make the JEM so much more expensive than the JS models? Is Steve Vai's guitar better, or fancier, and also I was wonerding that if with these signature models part of the price is added just by their name- because of the artists behind them?

-------------------------------------------------------------------

That was a nice gesture that Joe posted a message to Wilde (though it could've been a bit longer and deeper). I was honestly suprised he got word and then found the time to post in his busy days- there are too many pages here every day to always keep up with... not many of us can say we've been directly addressed by Joe.

Hey we were concerned for Joe when he got that bad bout of pnumonia, it's only right to see that concern go both ways :-)
