Hi Joe,
I just got back to Boston after Flying into S.F. for the Fillmore show. I was the guy who said "Hey Joe" very calmly when you were sneaking into the Back door of the Fillmore on the Friday night show. (Which was very well done by the way, only a few people noticed). I am sure you don't remember, but you answered me and to a guy who flew across country to see his favorite guitar player of so many years, MAN was that AWESOME!!! Great show by the way. I have seen you 7 times and This was by far the best concert I have seen you play. My questions and I am sure it has an obvious answer... What are the differences between the two necks on the double neck? I saw you going back and forth and I am assuming it has to do either with pickups, the wood used on each neck or tunings... Any info would be great and thanks for being such a great inspiration!

Did someone say they wanted someone to scan in the interview with Joe from Total Guitar. Please shout if you still want this doing. It is not only with Joe, but with the guys from Slipknot and The Offspring as well (as you may have gathered from this message board).

Hello Joe, I'm writing from Mexico City, and I'm aa big big big, fan!! Well, I just want to know if you have some kind of books, tapes to make some excersises, my fingers are some times too slow and I know it's only practice, but I like if you could recomend me some nice curse. Well, I guess that your time is limited, but I hope you have a nice year, and being soon on Mexico City. (About that, great G3 Concert in Auditorio Nacional, last year) Do you plan another G3 tour, now with Erik Johnson?? I hope yes, maybe if include in a tour. Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Erik Johnson, John Petrucci and Kirk Hammet, could be a Super Tour!! Waiting for news. Your Friend: Erick Bucio

hehe. ollyno1 you say you're from Wimborne? weehee, i'm from just the other side of Blandford. I used to go to QE school! I would say small world, but the chances of living close to another Satch fan and not knowing it are high since he's such a GOD.
Two nights in a row at the Astoria? that would be great. make it happen. Steve did three nights, so surely Joe could do the same?
Joe play Russia? Totally! Formula One hopefully comes to Moscow next year. Joe could open the weekend by playing Thursday and Friday evenings, but not too late because the drivers need their sleep!
New album? since it's only six months since the last one, seems unlikely. Also he's just started touring - although an ulbum could be made on the road - Engines Of Creation was.
laters peeps

Clarky- Foxy librarians? I've never seen a librarian below fifty....... Something mysterious and terrifying must take place right after they graduate from librarian school but before they start their first employment....... something that makes them lose all their compassion for mankind and instead fill them with the urge to look very sternly and hush at anyone who happens to cough in the history section...........

That was an awesome show Feb. 1st at the Fillmore. I enjoyed it very much. You are such an awesome guitar player and I really enjoy your music. Thanks for playing the songs Mind Storm and Friends. AWESOME SHOW JOE!!!!!! I need to change that nickname, I don't listen to them anymore so just ignore that name.

Hi there,
I was wondering if you or anyone else could let me know if the Marshall 6100 Anniversary Edition head used on tour is an LM or not and, more importantly, if the power section is loaded with 5881. 6L6, or EL34 tubes. It would also be nice to know what type of speakers the two 1960B cabs carry. Thanx.

Joe, the sticker was a thoughtful touch. So tragic and sad, peace to their souls.

groove in - Joe doesn't sell anything on his website. I bet you could find the shirt on Ebay.
Philaka - The doubleneck guitar has two different tunings. One is normal (EADGBE) and the other has each string tuned to E (EEEEEE).
crispin - The JS10th guitars are actually made of the same material that's used for the Crystal Planet guitars. I think it's called "lucite". The guitar is then covered in chrome.
Oh, and Joe has never played Slick live.

at long last, a new emailer went out today. it's also viewable in the news section and has a few things not seen/announced here yet (in addition to a reminder of a few things that have been).
special folks in the tuscon and albuquerque area also will note extra information in their email version for a special ticket/aftershow giveaway contest that the show promoters are doing.
