Hi to all !!! I 've read that the settings on your Boss DS-1 is 9, 5, and 2 o'clock .which means? what? the tone knob is 9 'o clock, the volume is 5 (all the way up?) and the dist is 2 'o clock? this gives me a fat sound on my marshall. it's cool but i don't get any trebles for harmonics.

Crystal Planet Try turning that amp up to full volume, and I'll see if I can here you playing over here in Sheffield, OK?
MegaBoyd Kid A is their worst album in my books (although the national anthem is a great song.) Although not as good as The Bends or OK Computer, Amnesiac is far better than Kid A if you like that style of music.
Crushing Day, HAPPY 100
Smithers Last time I heard of him, I think Ritchie Blackmore was playing in a folk duo with his wife or fiance or something like that. There was a programme about Machine Head on a couple of months ago on BBC, and he looked like he was definitely getting on.

Yeah Clarky!
Canadian Rock Maple!!
The best choice for necks!!! Really nice stuff to work with... as white as paper... but when it gets that aged look (petina) it looks fantastic!! Birdseye is my favourite!! Mostly comes from the province of Quebec...
Out west where the province of British Columbia is, they grow Western Big Leaf (Soft Maple) good for guitar bodies and that's where most of the flame, quilted, wild, tiger, spalted bookmatched tops come from!!
It kinda stinks for us though to buy Domestic Select Maple here in Canada, my Boss said to me that for Canadians it's the most expensive wood for us because alot of the time it's harvested here in Canada by an American harvesting company and then for our own wood we have to pay practically double the price per board foot than the US does...
and that my friend sucks the big one! I think it's close to $4.00 a board foot here in Canada, maybe more or less (it increases and decreases all the time, supply & demand), and since our Canadian dollar is only about $0.55 to $0.60 cents worth compared to the American dollar well there you have it... let's put it this way, if they ever come up with a way to create one North American currency............... I'm All For It!!!

ollyno1uk...try working it out yourself..it will help you develop your ear and you can play it the way you work it, and so it will be easier to play then trying to play it from tab books. go at your own pace...good luck!

thanks again mr nick but unfortunetely I have already done that. I have tried many programs but as soon as you reduce the speed you lose the clarity and the sounds fuse together making it impossible to pick out the notes on flying in ablue dream. I use this type of software for othersongs but not this one!!
cheers for the help though!! and if there is anyone out there that can help me with this song it would be apprecited

I let Dairy Queen do the cooking this morning! I feel like a new man! Sausage & egg biscuits w/chee for everyone!
This is a longshot I know but, does anyone here know of a good Gibson luthier anywhere between Indianapolis and Nashville? The closer to Louisville the better. I'm sure there are a few good ones in that vicinity but I'm sure there are a lot of hacks too and I don't need that. I can be my own hack. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference until I got my guitar back. How do ya know? Are these guys insured? What happens if they completley screw up my non-replaceable Les Paul & Flyin' V? Just shit out of luck I suppose.
And speaking of happenings in the aforementioned area, Joe we'd sure like to see ya in this neck of the woods sometime. Maybe next tour. Maybe tomorrow in my backyard. Which ever works out best for ya!
