dear joe satrianni

I looked around your wesite but cant find anyway to get intouch so i thought i would try this way

i am a guitarist , i,m 47yrs .. 2weeks back i was in a terrible accident at work and had to have my ring finger amputated

this is a desperate attempt to try to get some help to be able to play again with only 3playing fingers on my left hand if you could give me some tips or places that I might be able to find on the web that could help me out .. I would be so grateful

as a guitarist loosing a finger it has devastated me ..

joe you,ll probably never get to see this e-mail .. but its a shot in the dark for me .. to give me a tiny piece of hope

if I don't try I,ll never know .. I hope to hear from you

Joe, Just bought the VIP for the show at the Fox in Oak. Glad to see you offering this (you may have and I just haven't been paying attention). I do this every time Mr. Via comes to town and it's a wonderful experience. Gives a whole new vib to the show having spent some personal time with the artist - kinda like watching your friends play.

I would highly encourage anyone who's truly interested in Joe and his music to take advantage of this opportunity. It will change everything about how you view the artist and feel about his music.

Thanks for doing this Joe,

Jim

I was at Newcastle City hall on Monday night and it was immense! I have seen Joe every time he has played their from 1992 on wards. The first tour was the Extremist which is still my favourite, however, this tour runs it close. The evening was pure magic from start to finish and ironically Crying sounded better than when I heard it played live for the first time. The new album songs were all great with 3 sheets always bringing a huge grin to my face. Surfing sounded the best I have ever heard it played. Congrats on the new album and a great tour, oh and I managed to catch a plectrum which was the icing on the cake. Please keep coming to Newcastle City Hall it's a great venue ;-)

Does anyone know how much earlier the meet & greet is usually held before a show?

The receipt/ticket has no details.

Went to see Joe on Monday night in Newcastle and I don't know if I can put in to words how awesome it was. Had a great time at the VIP catching up with old friends and making new ones. To see Joe's guitars up close really is fantastic and meeting Joe is always great. Have to say I really liked the support act Matt Schofield so looking forward to seeing more of him. After that got to collect my signed set list which looks amazing. Joe and the band were on fire and absolutely rocked the City Hall, the new songs sound incredible live and Joe left everyone wanting more. I am so glad that I am going down to London on Monday to see him again. Took a load of photos and will post a link when I can.

I've got a question for anyone who may know the answer.. if you win the aftershow pass(es) is it just ONE or do you get to bring your friend/spouse along?

Sure hope I win them this time.. I've been trying for SO MANY years. It never works out that I can just go and buy VIP or whatnot. So stoked that I managed front row seats though, it just doesn't get much better than that.

smooches,

Hey PHY**

I just won the aftershow for Shep Bush on Monday. :-D You get 2 tickets. Because its a VIP night we have been upgraded to BEFORE show instead of after. The detail came on an email after I confirmed to the first one. I have been trying for years too - hang in there - your time will come!

Thank you Joe!! xxx

You must donate a kidney, have a proper Joe shrine, have at least one Joe related tattoo, and refer to at least one member of your family as Natty Dread...or just sign up on the attendance page. Your choice.

Thanks anibur! Congrats on your win! I am very hopeful that this time around will be my turn as well!

Anyone else kind of surprised that Can't Go Back is the song that he's NOT playing off of UM? Don't get me wrong, I love the setlist and at the same time I think that Can't Go Back is one of the best songs on the album.

Michelle- ha ha I can't stop laughing :) you may have added that they must cut down their hair to be bald ;)

Phydeaux_3 Completly agree with you, but the set list is still damn cool though. It's a 23 song set list but I don't see many things to change in it. :) New songs sound so good and older ones soind so young. After the show you'll certainly forget about your miss of that song :) oh but if I remember well he played it in Istanbul instead I'll put a stone on your cairn.

Just found that beautiful video of Joe playing Cryin' in Paris. It made me remember that wonderful and unstoppable momentum , I was there smiling and crynig at the same time. Such a beautiful and emotional song. One of my favorites. CRYIN' at the Rex- Paris
