Crispin - have you managed to burn anything to CD yet on the AW16????????????
Kell / Ovation - I'm a huge prog fan... '70 to '76 for me was a period of great imagination and innovation... yeah the new guys may be better players with a more polished sound etc etc... but I just can't get into them in the same way as stuff like Yessongs [Yes], Relayer [Yes], Going For the One [Yes], Chocolate Kings [PFM], Wind and Wuthering [Genesis], Foxtrot [Genesis], Selling England by the Pound [Genesis], Trace [Trace]... and so many more..... The writing and ideas are just on another plane and not totally dependant upon flashy technical playing..... By the time I discovered these bands their golden age had already well passed.... If I could get a time machine and go to any gig back in time it would have been Yessongs...
Artanis - ELP = Emerson Lake and Palmer....
Check out the full length version of Fanfare to the Common Man or Pirates
Matt - us two trying to chat on AIM is like ships passing in the night.... lol lol
greg - just call me Clarky like every one else... even my sisters do... lol
Megaboyd - wow.... thanx bro... talking to stone is a touching track for me.... thanx a million.....

Austin-No, nothing really bothered me about this one.I thought the first one had a VERY weak story, I loved it for the kung fu, but this one I felt the opposite, the story and plot were so much more interesting, and the fighting was totally secondary,(although awesome). The story in the first one was basic Sci-Fi BS, and some hokey Chinese fortune cookie philosophy.("There is a diference between knowing the path, and walking the path Neo", etc.)Although I really liked the first one, don't get me wrong. The second one actually had me thinking.
Now, it wasn't perfect, the CGI looked really fake whenever they CGI'd Neo instead of just using Keanu, Morpheus speaks way too less in this one, and the orgy scene was kinda lame.
Other than that,I No complaints for me.

Hello, Great way to give your fans the opportunity to have a conversation, that is, if you ever see what's coming in...
I must say that I am not to happy with your guitarplayin' for the following fact: I have a nine year old son, that used to play chromatic harmonica like a dream, I mean, at a certain stage he was asked by Toots Thielemans to play a Jazz-tune together with him on stage but he refuged because he was to scared to do so. Anyway, this is all history, sinds he heared you playing and saved up his money for months to buy an old 'RockAxe' guitar and a small Behringer amp. He played his harmonica once sinds and all I hear is your riffs over and over and over and over....
Nevermind, you cannot draw blood from a stone and you can't go against nature, so off he goes...
I swear the above story is true. Don't no what clicked in the childs mind but all I hear is your music these days...
Well, if you have the possibility to send him an autograph, he would be in heaven!
His name is
Danial Vroon
O. van Noortstraat 36
2871 SN Schoonhoven Netherlands.
Kind regards, WIllem

hey joe
what's up new stuff is great."chords of life solo is the best i have heard in years.how in the hell do you do it over and over ? i consider u to be the best ever even over vaughn and hendrix. u are the god of the six-string !!!!! notice the screen name, u are my idol. i saw u with dream theater in september of 2002 and u blew my mind once again . i like all the titles suggested for the new album and can't make up my decision so, i will leave it to the master once again. i would like to hear some longer ballads like "RUBINA @ CRYIN". well have to go.
forever a fan,

crushing day, yeah there is backstage footage on the DVD and not the VHS. Joe gives a little tour of his equipment and the band, his guitar tech..etc....For a guy with such vicious fingering on the guitar, he sounds really down to earth. It would be cool to have a chat with him someday........Peace, Dave

cos that's the nature of DVDs... to have extra stuff that probably wouldn't fit on a video tape.... and count me out for the H2H..... Memories means something to me, but MindStorm kicks it... I can't decide! :-P

mindstorm 1 - memories 1
I'm gonna have to give brandos costumes another listen, people round here seem to like it, and I suppose I'm always turned off and asleep by the stuff which precedes it by the time I get to the end of AIAUW disc 2.
I must also move to california - it seems you have all this music related fun which I miss out on.
Does anyone here get The Sunday Times? They did smething about different kinds of "pop" music people listen to. It was a crappy list, had way too much dance, and different categorizations of the same nu metal rubbish, but it mentioned Spock's Beard, calling them nu prog! How cool is that? (okay, I don't listen to the beard, and was a bit dissapointed they made no reference to DT, or call anything prog metal, and the list in general was crap.)
The times also liked the Zep DVD. I must get that sometime (that means in about 10 years time.)
