Got my new Vai Tattoo last week, it is healing nicely. My Satch one will done when I get back off my hol.

Hi All,

I'm back, feeling normal, thanks for everyones kind words. All is ok, after some severe therapy... by therapy, I mean decorating : p decorating with an assortment of Satch tracks in the back ground. It's the only way I could get through it LOL

Joe - I've just come up with a new revenue stream for you. You can do a line of "Music to Decorate to", "Music to Drive to" etc (instead of the stop smoking hypno audio stuff that's out there). You'll make a packet : )

BIG THANKS for getting Paolo Gilberto out with you. Looking forward to that, assuming it's that line up when you hit our shores.

Please drop in and leave us a line or two in Blue

Stevee T - thanks for the uplifting message. How's the move going, and did your baby (Chromey) get sold?

Clarky - oh ha ha, I'm sure you will be seen at at least one G3 show, but I didn't figure it would be propping up the bar. So, who out of Paul or John has been kicked off stage for you, or are you just doing a guest slot : )

Oh, and see you at Bournemouth!?

Satriella - thanks "dear", as always. I'm fine now (matter of opinion obviously)

Gotta Have Joe - what was I supposed to do with that email you sent? Not a lot happened, even after signing up

Have a good day everyone

Joe Satrini - dude.. I'm really looking forward to this G3...
interesting that there's no Vai..
that said, JP and Gilbert are both real monsters...

to be totally different, an interesting G3 combination would be:
MacAlpine and Greg Howe
or
Steve Lukather and Neil Schon
infact.. this one could end up a little less 'shreddy' and maybe a little more "lyrical", yet still full of thrills - which could be simply breathtaking

Never give an iguana Viagra

ANTWERP, Belgium (Reuters) - Mozart, an iguana with an erection that has lasted for over a week, will have his penis amputated in the next couple of days.

Veterinarians at Antwerp's Aquatopia had sought to treat the animal's problem, but decided removal was the only solution because of the risk of infection. The good news for Mozart and his mates is that male iguanas have two penises.

Mozart, sitting on the shoulders of his keeper as camera crews focused on his red, swollen erection, seemed unperturbed by the news.

"It doesn't bother him. He doesn't know what amputation means," said vet Luc Lambrecht, adding that Mozart's sexual activity should be undimmed by the operation.

"I don't think so. That's all in his head."

BON JOVI LEAK SAMPLES OF THEIR COUNTRY RECORD:

It's been a little while since the last Bon Jovi update, but now there is a bit to report. Bon Jovi's plans to write and record a country album in Nashville met with a lukewarm response, but they have stuck to their guns (so to speak!) and I can now report that the new Bon Jovi record is done. I am told that Jon Bon Jovi played the album in full for his record label last week, even thought it awaits a final mix/tweak. A tentative release date could be as early as April. Tour plans are said to be minimal for the support of this album - expect a promo tour to extol it's virtues upon the public though. So, just how country can Bon Jovi go? Very it seems. Two promotional sound clips have been leaked to get fan feedback. As if anyone will take notice anyway! But, music PR site promosquad.com in the USA is a firm which allows registered users to sample new music and Bon Jovi have sent two tracks to this service for feedback. The two songs are I Love This Town and Make A Memory.

I Love This Town features a ready made lyric tailored to appeal to the masses and a JBJ lead vocal twang not heard since his debut solo album. The breezy pop song with plenty of slide guitar is very cheesy indeed. Make A Memory is a soft acoustic driven ballad with more slide guitar and a country themed string section for good measure. A very typical sentimental Jovi ballad - everyone knows this formula all too well. I gather the band are intent on breaking a new market with this release, as I'm not sure how many of their long times fans will want to come along for the ride. Expect more details of the album to surface soon.

I wonder if Bruce is going to play with Pablo on the G3. I know they are together for the Get Out of My Yard tour. That would be scary. What"s the over/under on the number of notes that wil be played each night?

Clarky: I think this G3 will be really interesting. I'm really curious how Paul will play. He's been pretty far to the neo classical side of things in Racer X, poprock in Mr. Big, and more bluesy shreddy in his solo material. This one will be cool! I wonder if Vai can't make it this time due to other commitments? On his website news he mentions that he's working on compositions for orchestra and other projects...I would image that could be pretty time intensive.

Alliteration is a stylistic device, or literary technique, in which successive words (more strictly, stressed syllables) begin with the same consonant sound or letter. Alliteration is a frequent tool in poetry but it is also common in prose, particularly to highlight short phrases. Especially in poetry, it contributes to euphony of the passage, lending it a musical air. It may add a humorous effect. Related to alliteration are assonance, the repetition of vowel sounds, and consonance, the repetition of many kinds of sounds.
