Sorry for shouting, everyone.
Cube ROFLMAO! Whow, that was such a funny post. I micht have guessed. Now, I'll have to email it to everyone I know!
On a similar theme, we just ordered a computer on the net last night, and we got something like this:
Dell is a US company, and therefore must comply with the US export laws;
Do you intend to use this computer for the purposes of making or using Weapons of Mass Destruction, including Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Warfare? Blah di Blah
Yes No
I couldn't believe it! It ould be funny to click "Yes" just for a joke, but they've probably got some automatic cruise missile launchin system centred on your house launched instantly if you click yes! "Gee, yeah, sure I'm going to nuke the white house with this laptop. Say, does that affect my purchase?"

Smithers... That is indeed "Black Dog", Joe's doodled black JS from FIABD. It seems like years ago, don't remember exactly, he mentioned donating it in one of the more popular guitar rags.

Smithers I'm not totally sure but i think that guitar on the back of the FIABD cover is now called 'Black Dog' I think it was repainted over black and had some design painted on it, its in the guitar gallery, so i dont think its the same guitar in the hard rock........Joe Rules......

H302, do they actually think a real terrorist is going to say "ahhh, ya caught me..." and fess up? ha! Do you think a cop ever pulls over a person, asking "do you know how fast you were driving?" and have the person say "yes sir, I was going 97 mph sir!" duh! Ah well, congrats on your purchase! lol!
Guitarcake, Sure, everybody needs a back up band. I'd look kinda silly up there ~ just me and my cow bell. I could use a few more quick learning instrumentalists like yourself!! LOL!

Got my new(used) guitar!. My God, what a tone. I'm recording with this thing asap. You would not believe the authentic aingle coil screaming blues tone. I can't not think of Stevie when I play this thing. WOW.
So i'm selling my '00 Jem7VWH, near mint, comes in Ibanez UV1000c case, location Canada, price: $1400 USD

Wow mindstorm - how did you remember that!!
Stoo not boo - I remember you :o)
I was looking for sites on the net to show you what Roy Marchbank is like. I can't find anything of him playing like a demon, only him playing rythmn for the Iron Horse (a once fairly successful Celtic band). Since 3 of IH are now in my wee line up I'll give you the link to the video. It is on a German fan site of all places. Gavin (fiddle) and Brian (keys) are in SBM with Roy. It is Brian who played on Jerry Lee Lewis' album. http://www.hellmond-music.de/ukiron.html for the site and
http://www.hellmond-music.de/ironhorsedsl.wmv for the download of the live video from Lorient, France.

jo...many years ago todd rundgren enclosed a postcard with his record and promised to include your name in his next record's package if you filled it out and mailed it back!...i did...and, about a year later, there was my name, among thousands, in a "computer printout" looking image of todd on a poster in the record's package!...i was thrilled beyond words, but that wasn't all, i was also included in the live concert photo on the back cover that was taken at the roller rink in central park,n.y.c....even though it only shows the side of my head as i was messin' around with my friends, danny and dave, i was still blown away!...and i still am...i would like to do something like that with my next release...what do you think? let me know your thoughts on this... i'll be collecting feedback on this idea for the next few weeks... joe ...back in June 1999......view 'joe messages' to see old posts!

anibur - I remember that post! I was having wiered deja vu while reading your message thinking I've heard something similar to that before! That would be very cool if Joe did anything like that. BTW, Dan McAvinchey from Guitar9 records did something like that awhile back. Before he released his "Guitar Haus" record, I think he asked people what they thought of the sample tracks. People who responded were awarded with a mention in the "special thanks" section of the CD liner notes (my name is there!). Anyway, I know Dan McAvinchey isn't the biggest name in instrumental guitar (though Guitar Haus is actually a pretty decent album), but I thought that was a very cool way to involve his fans.
