achoo: Well, you've done your part if you've signed up for the backstage pass. Now all you gotta do is wait for the good news. Unless you're some celebrity or VIP or you know Joe or someone in the band or crew personally, there isn't a sure fire way for you to get backstage. You're not the only one who wants to meet Joe and the band/crew!! We all do!

Joe,
When are you going to bring the latest G3 tour to Britain?
Are there any plans to make a DVD of it (the live in San Francisco DVD is never off my player. I love it!!)
Time for a new studio album, don't you think?
I'm thinking of buyin a PRS guitar (I already have a Strat and an Ibanez RG550) Have you tried one? What are they like?
Are there enough questions in this message?? Sorry I just became a member and have a lot to ask. You'll be sick of me soon!

Hi JS fans, i need help. I just bought Unreal Tournament 2003 from eBay but the game requires a CD KEY. The senders gave me a cd key but it didn't work, the key they gave me is for windows ME. It's supposed to be on the jewel case which I never got. Does anyone have the game and can you send me the key. I have a feeling they don't have the key. Plus I only got ONE disc and it is marked "disc one". I should have more discs shouldn't I?
thanks for your help.

congrats, zach! how are your fridays? i get off classes at around 2, so probably friday afternoon-night will be jamming time this week (i've got a project due the following week, so i'll need my weekend for that)
does anyone else get the feeling that this site has so many "history in the making" moments? I can just imagine the stories... "yah, joe uses this trembolt thing, some guy told me that this guy on his fan website made it for him" "yah that one guy on the tour with Joe was actually on this tribute CD a few years earlier... he did this thing called "The Rock Song" and Joe eventually picked him up" ;) cross your fingers folks! it can happen!

Hey Joe.
I am new here and a brand new fan of yours. My guitar teacher recently got me into some of your music starting off with satch boogie and love thing. I decided to go out and buy a few of your cds, Surfin with the alien, strange beautiful music, crystal planet and self titled Joe Satriani. I was amazed. I fell in love with your music. It has inspired me sooo much to work harder and harder when playing guitar. My dream is to be in your shoes doing what i love to do. Sorry u prolly here this from every single person out there. U should hear my guitar teacher. He is one of THE best guitarist out there. Better than most of the ppl out there. No joking. His name is John Ellis, lives in Peterborough, Ontario Canada and gives out guitar lessons At Bud's Music Center. I think he has one Jseries guitars. Its nice. Anyways my name is David Post and i'm 17. I got tickets to one of the G3 shows. The one in toronto messay hall or w.e. We are way up in the gallary lol but i don't really care. But i can't wait to see u. I am there mostly to see u but i wouldn't mind hearing some of steve's stuff or that wierd dude. Yeh its cool cause my friends uncles guitarist i think played with u guys g3 or steve vai before. Just thought i mention that. I was wondering if u have ever heard of a guitarist named Mark Tremonti?? He is the guitarist from Creed. Hes freakin sweet and there new album that is due out around christmas is supposed to have aton of shredding on it. Anyways just thought i let u know. my email address is dimwatu@hotmail.com!! JS - forgive me, i have been out of the country for a spell and was wondering if you're posting the set list for G3 (particularly the 10/15 gig in Seattle)
Also, is there a release date yet for the latest masterpiece you've been working on?

NARFACE: Thanx for getting back to me. I really appreciate it.
Now I feel welcome. Man, I really hope I win one of those tickets or Im gonna have to get ghetto and do something like be wating for the tour bus to arive at 4 in the morning or slip one of the roadies a crispy nifty 50$ to let me peek my head in. You know im not obsessed or nothin. Its just everyone I know listens to Rap or some other type of other stuff I dont like. I have no one to borrow CD's from; got to buy my own. I listen to 80s Meatal (Merciful Fate, Metalica,Megadeth)anything with an M I love the guitar. But Satriani is my favorite. I cant wait to see him in concert
QUESTION FOR ANYONE WHO IS READING.
OUT OF THIS G3 LINEUP WHO DO YOU THINK IS BETTER? Satch, Vai, or Malmsteen?(meaning technicality, creativity, song composition. etc . )

ToneCapone, sorry for your loss dude.
Willgel, I personally would say 'dont get a PRS'. there's better things to spend a couple of grand on.
Liquidguitar, no you should have three discs. Send it back, get a refund. it would have been easier to get a second-hand one of amazon. besides, UT2003 is complete crap. It's one of the lamest games I ever saw, which is a shame, since the original UT was GODLIKE.
Michelle, where'd you read that sick article? it's pretty interesting, and absolutely wrong! And live mice in blenders? woss that about? hehe
SupaaDave, the first Vai album I got was 'Fire Garden' and it's still my favourite, despite the fact I have all his stuff. Again, check for second-hand items on amazon - if you find P&W and ALS with 'Like New' next to their 'condition' report, then get 'em. it's definitely worth it.
QUESTION FOR ANYONE WHO IS READING. OUT OF THIS G3 LINEUP WHO DO YOU THINK IS BETTER? Satch, Vai, or Malmsteen?(meaning technicality, creativity, song composition. etc . )
that's not the sort of question you wanna be asking in here! hehe.
They are all technically adept, creative with their instrument, and excellent composers! hehe. maybe you'll get a more realistic response somewhere that doesn't matter, like the Dream Theater forums!

Hey Joe,
A very good friend of mine absolutely loves you, and I know he would die if he could get your autograph. Is there anyway this could possibly happen? I know you are a busy man, but this would mean the world to him.
Thanks for your time,

Zachary That's really good! I hope Joe likes the trembolt. You'd better make a good one for him. Have fun. Oh well, I'll just stick around with stutrine and stuvation in the fixed bridge club.
biggest mjk fan ever That's good news you came out of the coma.
stu clone THAT IS SO FREAKING FUNNY! Someone actually thought you were Stu Hamm's son? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH ROFLMAO!!
Ooh, and I don't think I really like those basses - funny shape things aren't for me. I'll just be boring and stick with a fender jazz (no, I don't play bass at all, so the last comment was totally supurflous)
clarky Could this be a new way to see whether a band is worthwhile or not? If they sound worse live than in the studio becuase they can't get aanything decent without using loads of technology, they're bad. If they sound really cool live because they can play everything well and then they add in loads of spontaneous bits, they're good.
michelle That is sick.
achooo In descending order,b Satch then Vai then Yngwie.
