Mike - "btw....JOE:....I know your busy and all, but could you send my son an autographed picture to 101 Trailer Trash St., Trailer Park County......He is your biggest fan and can almost play guitar like you....Please respond by tomm @ 1000am....I have a hairdresser appt. after that.... ;-) "

That was just tooooo funny!! LOL!

Prog X, what's the name of your car. I named mine Buck. When I have the AC on and I try to punch it, he bucks, but then it kicks in and I get power. lol! Hence the name Buck :)

I'm listening to The Bone 107.7 and they're playing Harvester of Sorrow. Yeeeaaaahhhhhh! Good stuff! Now fuck off old man!

wanky, wanky, moo, baa, cluck

They plays Joe's music during commercial breaks. Can't beat that with a stick.

Wow can't believe I just read 10 pages before replying to anything...

Yeah, my drum kit is called "PEARLY" because I stole it backstage the last time I was in Florida.

Actually it isn't, but if it was, it would be something to do with the manufacturer...

And my guitar is called "Meega Tar" but I generally spell it as "my guitar"

Prog X/Dave/Trutina: I would have thought "Master" "Slave" and "Control" would have been good names for the keyboards...but it's not really that funny is it?

Fusion - You know, if you like shred, fast playing, whatever, that's fine with everyone but do not try to make it something it isn't. You seem to not like Gilbert's new stuff but you seem to very much like his old stuff. Now if you call Racer X solos and 80's shred "not mindless", you're making it something it's not.

MAYBE the solo you posted wasn't tasteful, MAYBE??? Buddy, you're talking like it was borderline tasteful. That was so far beyond wanking, it makes the solo for Superheroes look like the solo for Rubina.

If you listen to Impelliteri for tasteful solos, ... I can't even finish the sentence.

On several occasions, guitarists from that decade came out and stated that now, they cannot believe the things they did back then. Look at Richie Kotzen. The later in his career, the less wank there was. It's got to the point where he doesn't play fast at all anymore.

If 98% is an off number, then you tell me 100 shredders from the 80's. We'll then figure out who's "tasteful".

Stu Clone - Thanks for the pics.

greg m - Yeah, you're right... I knew that, so I don't know why I wasn't clear...LOL. Thanks for the correction.
PhryDom - Greg is right...sorry.
962 - EJ has been playing a few tunes from Souvenir, as well as one or two new songs. One of them, Bloom, is a fan favorite...at least among the people on his official internet mailing list. IIRC, he hasn't been playing Pavilion regularly on this tour. He has Tommy Taylor back on drums for the time being, so he's been playing a lot of stuff from Ah Via Musicom.

Sammy Andrews to be honest, whenever I switch to it all of a sudden I don't sound like *me* any more! It sounds to me like an underpowered humbucker, with the "personality" (for want of a better word lol) of a single coil. I know Joe probably helped DiMarzio design it to be exactly that, but now I've tried it, I just don't like it :-|

AustiNitsuA about what? You lost me there bro!

Everyone help is needed! Remember when a lot of us repeatedly posted MindStorm a while ago? Please could y'all help with the T2J CD by posting either of both of these messages... Joe please ask Mick to reply to Trutina and Mick Brigden - PLEASE reply to Trutina... we're kinda stuck here with the CD production and we really NEED Mick to get in touch with Bil before we can progress. Thanks peeps.

"Joe please ask Mick to reply to Trutina and Mick Brigden - PLEASE reply to Trutina..."

Spent hours last night getting some tunes ready for Iuma. Got to convert them to mp3, but I do not have any software to do it. Then I can go ahead and get the Iuma thing up. Any advice anyone?

"Joe please ask Mick to reply to Trutina and Mick Brigden - PLEASE reply to Trutina..."

Anyone got a Digitech 2120? I am thinking of getting one or something similar and all advice is welcome. Is it worth the money?
