Vai was amazing, I almost cried. I never expect to be so close to him, but I did it. All the time, he was infront of me. I was like in heaven. Great Begining with I Know You´re Here, and monstruos final with for The Love of God. THANX SO MUCH FOR MAKING ME FEEL ALIVE. HHAAAAA!!!!! AND ALSO FOR THROWING YOUR PICKS, I GOT 2!!!!!!!!

Joe I have been a piano player since i have been about six, and i cant read music so i have been playing songs by ear. your music has inspired me to become an instrumental pianist. i mostly play keypboards, but since i have bought my new mizer board i have laid down basic melodies and put more distinctive melodies i=over them kinda like what you do in alot of your songs, i have learned just about every song on every cd of yours except for "engines of creation."...so your work has most definately inspired me to be a better musician

what a f*cking day! went to school to turn in one of my research papers and give a presentation, put a lot of time and energy into them and after finishing my presentation another guy got up and gave a preseantation on the same topic and read it word for word from a website on the disorder, teacher goes on and on about what a beautiful job he did- no shit, all he did was read someone elses words and research... so then what would be the perfect ending to a crap day? on my way home from school to work on more stuff for finals- i got in TWO accidents! who gets in two accidents within a mile from their home? stupid ice and stupid weather!!!! argh!

I don't know very much about him, I saw a documentary about him on TVO a couple years ago ("Masterworks" program) and I keep thinking about him, since. So when I see you guys mentioning guitarplayers like Metheny , DiMeola, Django... I feel like shouting : What about Lenny? So I am glad that I'm not the only one here who knows who Lenny was... I mean his technique is beyond reach, but there's something else about his playing : he's got soul, that's rare for a jazz player (maybe Larry Carlton Is the only one who comes close in that) . When I put his CD on, and the notes fill up the room, something magical happens: time stops and it feels like I'm somewhere else, in a special place...

Cabin Fever is a good one, you can find a couple more now that Randy Bachman released a few more. Live at Bourbon Street (with Dave Young) is also good.

Joe was Great, It was his night, he played wonderfull, the audience just flew off with Joe's music.
I want to share three observations of that show:
1.- First instrumental concert, where I saw thousands of BEAUTIFUL girls, and much more beautiful because their musical likes = ).
2.- Music was toooooo loud, the sound engenires must have miss that, well, but I understand It is the first show after long vacations.
3.-I was wrong, Joe mainly uses the Ultra channel in the JSX, in diference from wath I thought about Joe playing with the clean channel.

I just wanna add I'm still feeling the Joy of watching a complety PRO-MUSICIAN.

Analysis: to all instrument players of the world...Joe Satriani is more than able to stand on stage and play one single note and send over half the audience into spontanious orgasm. It only requires a thought form and he has only chosen to thus far spare us. If you think I be jivin' ya consider this... Elvis reqired a full medical team at his shows to assist at least the first five rows (mostly females) and were very busy people. Let me continue. In the early eighties british riot control police experimented with soundwaves by blasting a 9htz wave into the rioting masses and (although below the threshold of human hearing) more than half of them spontaniously lost bowel control. Not many chose to continue rioting. Agreed not many (or any) instrument is able to achieve these freqs however I am convinced that one thing can.... the mind. G3 in BA:

The shows are back in The Luna Park, 3 shows, here's what happened (as I was told in BA): as tickets did not move as expected the publicity and press work was changed into "RF and G3" (radio, posters, newspapers, tv, Red sounding all over, etc), the 2 shows were moved to a theatre (Gran Rex), but once the "conceptual change" was implemented tickets began to move rapidly, as with all other events in which you were involved in Argentina, the shows returned to the Luna Park, both shows were sold out (this place is a big sports arena! boxing, Holiday On Ice, that kind of stuff...) rapidly and a third has been added recently.

Chile also took over this approach and the whole publicity machinery is based on "RF From KC", Heartbeat sounding strong in all FM's. The show in Santiago has been moved to a bigger arena…

I'm receiving many mails from the press asking me (!) for interviews with you, I explain that I'm not involved in this production, what I gather from these mails is that nobody really knows that you'll be playing Soundscapes as part of the G3 show, the sense is that these are your shows with Joe and Steve as guests!

I've explained to several key members of the press how things actually are, they understand.

This is what I'm hearing, I know this aren't good news for you, I'm embarrassed by what the local promoters are doing, but does not surprise me, this is what they always do.

The price of the tickets is astronomical for most argentineans, very few crafties, if at all, will be able to attend the shows, but there's still money in BA, as the 2 sold out shows prove.
