Hi Joe,
I'm a new member to your site - so thought I'd say hello...
I've already got your "Live in SF" DVDs, and "G3" DVD from 1996 - all of which I thoroughly enjoy. I'm also a big fan of Yngwie Malmsteen - and I just saw your news, that the G3'03 double CDs and DVDs, should be released early 2004. I can't wait to see all 3 of you playing together.
I live too far away to have been able to attend any of the G3'03 concerts, so I just wanted to thank you for getting the CDs and DVDs happening so fast.... It's great news -especially for all your fans who live outside the US.
Cheers,
Brad S (Auckland, New Zealand)

Bradman: The latest new's about the new G3 DVD was from Jon, the webmaster, and this is what he had to say about it:
The mixing of the forthcoming double CD and DVD of the Kansas City and Denver shows will begin in a few weeks in the hopes of an early 2004 release. I'll keep you posted from the studio of our progress.....
....hmmmmmm....No snow where I'm at either, lol, I wonder why?? ;-)

Ovation - You tricked me, lmao!! haha... Professional Skeamer! And Gilberto?! lol, that's the funniest thing ever! It seems he spends a lot of time on the body but forgets about his/her face! lol... oh I just found this one too... More Gilbert Craziness!!
Ok, who's seen the Trailer Park Boys with Alex Lifeson guest starring? I just watched it yesterday and it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen!! Bubbles is the coolest! "Come on man, Alex Lifeson, Geddy Lee, and Neil Peart! And you just know he's gonna do that f***in' drum solo... ding, ding, ding... badadadoooo baddadoooo, balalalddoooo!!!!" Lmao!! He plays Closer to the Heart with Lifeson at the end! It's a pretty crazy show... if your into downloading tv episodes it's "Trailer Park Boys S03 E05"...
Oh, it snowed for the first time last night... and it's Canada! Take that!! lol...

Yipeeeee! Finally I am in!
I am obviously a satch fan...but from Turkey!
I got a question for guitarists.
I got an American fender strat, which has some amazing sound. However, I am a composer myself (newage-industrial) and Strat's sound unfortunately doesnt do good. I need the bright-hard and not of this earth sound of Satriani. I got the Crystal Planet album sound in mind.
Which guitar shall I look at? Most of you will say Ibanez JS series. But as a secondary feature, I am looking for a 7 string. So which 7 string guitar can give me Crystal Planet sound?
Confused? Great :)

SATCH, You NEVER fail!!!!
Ok, what i mean is Satriani has never failed me yet, and never will no doubt. Let me explain.
I could go on forever explaining the story of how i came to love satch, but why bother, the pivotal point is that it all started with midnight. I learned, loved, played, and pimped out midnight to everyone I met... including an ex-girlfriend of mine who loved it. Well I haven't talked to her in a while, and all the sudden i read a message on a message board about how she put on a mix tape in her car, and midnight was on it, and all these memories came rushing back. She said she was bumming then b/c we haven't talked, and urged me to contact her. Long story short, I called her that night, and we're in good again :-) (just friends mind you, but its a good thing). And WHO do i have to thank for being the catalyst of this? SATRIANI... thanks bro...
oh and by the way, G3 kicked more ass then I even imagined... thanks again

Sharif, ouch! Poor tacoma....But hey, that is a suprisingly resiliant vehicle you got there, if it was just bumper damage. well done Toyota!
mikesb, kell, thanks for your Kings X info! I'll have to set about an investment program!
My Dream Theater collection is on hold for now - I have six albums and the first one I got (Six Degrees) is still my favourite. My Nuno archive is well over half-way to completion, but Paul Gilbert is hard to find, and I don't listen to Racer X so much anyway, so it looks like Ty Tabor will be coming right after I complete my Andy Timmons collection! hehe. I guess this is what they call an Obsessive Compulsive disorder!
Lyz, happy 100
OCPS470, just downloaded your mp3. Thanks loads dude! That rig sounds so nice, what a great setup. It's dead smooth. Lovely tune too, do you have a longer (full-length) version? Tonaly, it's quite similar to the sound I get from my two bluesbreakers, only slightly less bassy. Great tone you got there, well done!
Cool website man, did you do the photoshop-ing yourself? I did some work on some images of my Jem and they came up looking rather interesting.
oh, and Funky Munky is really nice too!
Ethn, you liked The Last Samurai? thanks for mentioning that - I forgot it was coming out soon. Looks like an excellent movie, I love well-done martial-arts/oriental-related stuff.
No snow in the UK either - it's too cold right now. Funny, cuz it's been too wet all week. It'll probably be too hot tomorrow. I want some snow!

Very sucessful night for the benefit, it was the biggest turnout in 10 years. I'm spending the rest of the day on the couch....woohoo !!
