the double neck is cool...whats it for? i dunno...but maybe since there are quite a few guitar parts on his new cd he may be playing some rythm on certain songs then going to lead real fast? i dunno...kinda like eddie did on "spanked" in the LRHRN video? lol...

im sure a lot of you guys already know but since i don't follow zack wylde i just found out he named his kid " Hendrix Halen Michael Rhoads Wylde " ......strange

Ya Yo... the only thing I can think of for The Double JS is that one is tuned differently and possibly could be wired different for a slightly different tone...

Possible 3peat...

Cool pictures guys....love that doubleneck!! For a second I thought the top neck was a 7-string. I think you're right YaYo, maybe he uses it for rythym....Anyhow, you gotta love those pants he has on....ha ha....I want a pair to wear to gigs too!!

Everyone in Great Britain.....enjoy the shows!!!!!!

Pete - You don't say. Wow... how'd you know that? Listening party which I didn't listen to?

Well.. the album... beyond amazing.

Anyone else pick up on the similarity in the ending riff of New Last Jam to the ending riff of Trundrumbalind. Those rock.

And Mind Storm... wow.

Hi everyone. I'm here in St. Louis now. I went to a Cardinals game today. There was a rain delay, but then the Cardinals beat the S.F. Giants (Sorry, Joe!). I think the final score was 5-1. Something happened at the game that made me smile. There is a player on the Cardinals named J.D. Drew, so of course the whole crowd would cheer him on with "Dreeeeeeeeewww". LOL.

The Local Person - That's a great idea. I never thought about having a pizza delivered while waiting in line.

Get a loaf - That linik didn't work...can you send it again?

WANNAMEETJOE - LOL @ the leg as a whammy bar.

JS Clone 1 - Happy 100! ;-) I think one of the double neck guitars has all strings tuned to the same note (E?). Joe mentioned this on the album listening party thing.

kudiew - Sometimes it takes a few weeks for TM to deliver tickets. They usually email you confirmation once they are printed.

Ya Yo Gakk - Hendrix Halen Michael Rhoads Wylde? That's an awesome name...LOL.

...Austin...

Whew ... lotsa posts. Too many, me thinks.

Joe, Jon - thanks for the webcast! Heard a bit of the audio (thank YOU, James) ... looking forward to the full thing.

Since we'll get a much shorter set in the States, hows about throwing us a bonus? The Forgotten? Please?

And what's up with 'Slick'?

JSClone, YaYo, Austin, Barrie and all you others, if you listened to the Australians on this site (or the bits Joe said on the listening party) you'd know about the "New Last Jam" story. Pete Mulas mentioned it above.

I think someone else spoke about it the other day, but not sure if they mentioned the double-neck thing.

btw What about Steve Vai with that crazy 3 neck heart shaped one?

Can't wait until the webcast.

Later BEN

Actually, it loks to me like the top neck on that double-neck has a fixed bridge. I don't see a trem bar, and it would seem that a bar would tend to get in the way while playing the lower one, too. Methinks it's like the fixed bridge on the JS2000, which has fine tuners. At any rate, the two bridges look distinctly different to me.

Saw Joe last night in London, totally totally amazing, we were treated to some old stuff and some new stuff from SBM and a fantastic duet with Matt and Jeff. Joe must have been about six feet from me and all of us lot on the front row. A young lad passed out right by us, he didn't look too good at all, hope he is ok now. Paul Huxley, hope you got home ok, we didn't get back until 1.30 this morning. Andy has gone off to work but will be home early to take my lads to Brum tonight.

Naty you should have caught that plane, you could have parachuted out and landed right on the green in front of the venue.

Jofdm - LOL also means Lot Of Love.

Phyrg Dom - what's up with you then, nothing contagious I hope, is it finger ache from too much typing on this site.

Bye for now

Sharon

OK, here are the last two songs in my SBM-review. I'll shut up for a while now. ;)

THE TRAVELER- It has a very catchy main riff theme, that keeps coming back to my head every now and then. The part 1.17-1.37 is awesome. But I'm not as huge fan of the wah-sound as Asutin... :)

YOU SAVED MY LIFE- I can't help it but I do have a weak spot for this type of songs... Maybe it's the romantic, feminine side in me talking, I don't know...lol. I'd love to hear it all acoustic. The little heavier wah-sound in the part 2.15-3.02 is really nice!

Done for now, back to work I go... Ciao!

JSC1 at his date here in Rome Joe explained that the guitar has two different intonation the upper must be an open intonation ( he played some chords using only his finger as a capo ) and the other has a standard tuning... now I don't remember in which song he uses the guitar..
