HAPPY NEW YEAR JOE and all the best wishes for Bil / Trutina... Keeping my fingers very hard crossed for you, don't let go!

Michelle I sure wish I was born in the year of the dragon considering my love for those creatures, but no, I'm a tiger... I agree what you said about your husband though - us tigers are usually pretty mellow unless we get pissed off or trying to catch a prey, lol!

Well, I'm off to play some pool... have a good day in Satchland! :)

Payte, to elaborate on what Michelle said re Joe's head: Joe mentioned to me in an interview several years ago that he was jogging one day in SF, stopped to check himself out in a glass store window, turns out it was a drugstore and in one subliminal instance Joe saw his own "starting to go bald" image as he describes it and an electric razor on sale!!! The rest is history!!

Someone was asking about Joe's early guitar paint jobs? In the same interview he told me the earliest ones were done by his sister, who he described as a "tai-dye hippy kinda designer" and another female relative. Afterwards, all his work was done by one person, male if I recollect correctly who I think Joe mentioned to me at the time was ill at the time. (Hey I am getting on and the interview was for the Crystal Planet Tour!!!!) Anyone, Joe feel free to correct this info!!!

The other touching part of the interview, was Joe talking about family... He is very much a family man and delighted in talking, at that time, about something other than guitar mechanics and equipment LOL Most touching to me, a father myself, was him talking about how much time he was getting to spend with ZZ as he was growing up and how ZZ had worked himself into the titles of several songs!! Piece of Liquid, Train of Angels etc... Joe was and is one of the nicest "stars" I have ever interviewed!!!!

Hi everyone!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

That's great news about a G3 tour in Europe! Really great! As alexandre said, JOE, if u pass by, come to Portugal for a gig or two! :)

I got my satch tapes DVD! :) Awesome stuff! I never watched it on VHS.

Do the stu- That are some seriously sad news about Bill... :( Man, hope he gets better soon... I think we should all forget about the CD for a while, 'cause Bill's health is our main priority now. I know he'll overcome everything and get well, but with our help it'll be a bit faster. We should let him know that we are all worried and take out the pressure of finishing the CD from his shoulders for a while, I think he just needs to rest a bit from all the stress.

Well, my exams are starting on Monday, so I'll go study...

HAPPY NEW YEAR AGAIN!

Miguel Pais

Hey Joe

Been a fan for a long time now but one thing bugs me........when are you gonna stop by Ottawa, Ontario, Canada????? We have a great stadium called the corel centre where we enjoy watching the sens kick some ass! It would be so cool if you could fit Canada's capitol into your G3 tour. I would love to catch a flight down to the states but $$$ is always the factor. Hope I've convinced you (lol). Thanxs for some truly awsome music joe, you're a huge inspiration.

We are having the weirdest winter imaginable by Canadian standards... Today is over 50 degrees F, raining and all the snow is gone!!!! Toronto. This causes us Canucks to have "winter blues" seeing everything wet and brown!!! Guess I'll crank some Albert Collins hehehe!!!

Anyone else experiencing strange climatic circumstances??

hello people,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, its a balmy 5 below zeroas we speak, compared to 53 above on christmas, i was out on my deck drinking coffee that morning, cant say that has ever happened before . the weather report tells me that its going to be back to low 50s by next weekend ,, crazy, this weather is. anyways, im not to familiar with the trutina thing, except that he is apparently ill. but since he is a member of this site, i consider him a comrade and wish him peace and strength in his hour of need.
