your word made us hold on the next stages of the CD's release. for more time than we cared to. you did *not* stand by your word, you kept us waiting and wanting more time. i appreciate you were/are busy, but we all have lives to live and lead. your word in this case did *not* come through.

ka girl - not to you, sorry if i/we confused you. paul is right, this should be done elsewhere... maybe over two opposing tables, each entirely populated with pint glasses full of ale..... last man to the end smells of rotten eggs... or maybe first man to fall over smells of his own puke.....

Keniko: How's things going? I saw there were a few "snags" with potential bandmates.......hope it works out. You are on the path he has chosen. Things will fall into place in time. Just remember "I Believe"....... Congrats on 2 fine sons. I know you are so very proud. They are so very lucky to have a wonderful father! Take it from someone who didn't.....nuff said. I've learned to change my thinking since I'll never be able to change him. It still hurts/sucks. I don't remember The Crystal Palace in New Hope. See if you can get me an addy and I'l check out what's there now, even send you a photo! I've been going there for about 25 years and don't remember it.

Michaela: Did I meet you last year at the G3-04 Stockholm , Sweden Show?!

FABLawyerSBM: Great site! Looks so different than the last time I was there. Let me know when I can buy my CD's......so is Maggie the "one" you were telling me about when we were outside BB King's for the FM show? She's very pretty and has a nice voice.

Mikesb: Great writing and great interview of Slans! ( and Frank Marino BTW. ) You are a very eloquent writer and have such a great knowlege of guitar and music. I bow to you......It was sooo great to hang out with you, Stevee, Ronnie and Pete. I was right about Carol's email, she wrote it wrong. Hopefully we will get to hang out. She invited me over for a barbeque in July. I'll post my lists very soon, it has surprised me. hehe!

Slanshroom: Wow Roy.......your CD is finally arriving!! Congrats on all the hard work you and Ronnie have put in! It's finally paying off....or will be shortly, I promise!!!! ;-))

LesPaulGuy: Damn!! You are so lucky!! I'm sure it was a real kick! Who else played last night?I forgot about his Bday and I was off today!! Kick me! Oh well.....I had Collective Soul on Fri and Steve Winwood on Sat but I know I would've gone into NYC for this one! Can't believe I FORGOT!! I was on his website a few months ago and I told myself tha they were going to have a VERY BIG PARTY for his 90th...Carnegie Hall no less! Anywhoo....Welcome to T2J!! Next time make sure you tell us about a big event like this, OK?! ;-))

VFRocker: Yes, that is one beautiful and soulful tune. It "gets" me every time I hear it.....just love "Can't find my way home" ! I guess I can really relate to that song. Soul Stirring none the less.... SW also played "Crossroads" fine job and such a great jam!! Congrats on making onto the T2J CD!!

Alexandre: Hi Alex!! Miss you.....hugs and kisses to you! Congrats on the T2J CD!! Be well my friend! ~~ Sea Eyes~~

CONGRATS TO ALL OF THE T2J FINALISTS!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR THE CD....I KNOW JOE WILL BE VERY PROUD OF EVERYONE!! eVEN THOSE THAT DIDN'T MAKE THE FINAL CUT.

mari

hi guys, well im not looking forward to thursday, this is the day when my old car, an aussie ford fairmont .9ltre 302 V8 leaves the family for ever, some history on me and the car mum and dad bought the car brand new in 1971, auto, aircon big V8, when I was 3 years old I had the first of my 2 open heart operations, though successfull in the op itself, I was not responding to any of the after treatments, infact my parents tell me that I did die legally a bout 3 times before they got me back on this earth, but mentally i was dead a veg, they had me on a portable life support for months, this was the time when they were trying new technowlodgys n such, I was one of the few ever aussie babys to have 3 holes in my heart repaird at once, bar couple other aussies at the time, this was the 70's, any way mum and dad had been at wits end, and the docs were , mum used to say she wanted to take me for walks nstuff but i was so tied up with this machine, so the docs put me on this portable thing, and told her to take me for a little drive around the hospital parks , quit a big hospital, any way apparantly from mum and dad, as soon as they put me in that car in the front turned on the engine and put the radio on I responded, it was like i was apparantly reaching for the radio, the docs were stunned at this ,and I was eventuallly taken off the machine and allowed home,

all thru my life I fought tooth and nail with 2 brothers to own that car with which I have now for the past 8 years, but this year has been tough, with my mum the way she has been with alzimers and poor health, fuel costs down under is incredible and im on a low budget as is, I have had to make the hardest choice in my life, to let go of something that has ment so much to me , man I can remember on my p - plates ( a grade of car liscense down under) when comming home for my anual 3hour drive from sydney at 2am from work, I decided to see how fast I could get her. would u know that I took her to 120mph , and the speedo needle actually went back upto 30mph before it woundt go any faster, this was on a long long straight high way we have , going from mittagong to sydney, and back then they didnt have police with radar guns in australia, so many other memorys not that I was a hoon, but wow what a feeling it was, she wasnt the biggest V8 on the planet but she had it were it counted. man Im gonna miss her, I dunno how much.

I think thursday I am gonna get reall drunk and not wake up till sunday..

sorry about the long post but I felt I needed to share that, this has been the toughest year of my life so far and it aint over yet..

for pics and videos of my car visit my site aussieRGmans home on the net

thanks for listening
