Hi everyone at Satchland!
Keniko, thanks for the welcome back :-) Yeah I had a great time but I'm still happy to be back home too. And "I Like The
Rain" for song of the day too, it's so warm here right now...
Regarding what GARTRIANI is saying...Joe's Premium tickets have still not been offered in Europe...but I like Steve Vai's EVO Premium Experience, specially because includes a bag of goodies with guitar pick, tour programme, CD with interview and bonus track...,I really love this type of thingies so I have to say that I agree with these collector's edition tickets
aussieRGman, here's a good site for posters http://www.pushposters.co.uk/
currently three different posters of Joe available.
By the way...I hope things get better for you...
One more thing for everybody...the Carvin DVD 2005 that was only available for USA and Canada, now is available everywhere for free through Carvin's international site: http://www.carvinworld.com/dvd/ with a really fast delivery, my copy took only 10 days to arrive home, check it out!

GuitarCrazy505, in the 80's/early 90's the Radius models were what was used as the basis for the JS. They no longer get made, so now the JS shares it's body shape with just the Ergodyne, but the Ergo is luthite, which is synthetic.
Zenfish, no, I didn't recieve any mails like that, but it sounds like spam/a virus to me, so I'd definitely get rid of it!

To all Joe fans, I have never posted on this site, but i now feel compelled to do so . I am very unhappy about the "Premium Package tickets " offered at two or three times or sometimes more, than the normal ticket price at most Joe satriani and Steve Vai gigs. I am a long time irish fan of both joe and steve. I have met them a good few times at thier irish gigs because i have queued from early in the day and even taken time off work to get there and be first at the door. I have snuck in to see them do thier soundchecks and have even sat in on Steve recording a song or two. Now to be thier biggest fan i must pay for the priveledge . I thought i had paid already . I have EVERY c.d., EVERY dvd, The G3 albums and the Whitesnake album ,some T-shirts Oh and My tickets for each and every gig !!! This is simply a corporate money making scam , Its discusting as joe and steve are "all about the music " . Not any more? $$$$$$.. If you agree, let joe know ...and discuss it here and maybe joe might reply or explain ..Gary walsh Dublin , Ireland garrethwalsh@hotmail.com

Any of you gearheads out there looking to hone in on Joes rig/live set up? This months issue of Guitarist magazine has an interview with Joe, a profile of the JS Signature guitars and a few pics of his pedals where you can see all the settings.
I -ahem- borrowed Joes setting for the DS-1 pedal and tried it at rehearsal last night - wow! We ran through a few new songs and the sustain was totally Spinal Tap (I could have gone and made a cup of tea, come back and the guitar was still ringing sort of thing!).
Looking forward to the new G3 dvd!

Signs a Romance Novel Has Been Plagiarized
5> Chapter in which a scantily-clad Desiree clings to the sinewy
Roberto and recites a list of ways he can tell if he might be
a redneck.
4> The author? Danielle Steal.
3> The publisher? Kinko's.
2> Hero's frequent calls of "Adrian!!" seem to ring a bell.
and the Number 1 Sign a
Romance Novel Has Been Plagiarized...
1> Heartbreaking passage in which all four female leads are
dumped -- as Jack slips out the back, Stan makes a new plan,
Roy becomes inexplicably coy and Gus heads for the bus depot.

How many members of the Bush administration does it take to change a light bulb?
1. One to deny that a light bulb needs to be changed;
2. One to attack the patriotism of anyone who says the light bulb needs to be changed;
3. One to blame Clinton for burning out the light bulb;
4. One to tell the nations of the world that they are either for changing the light bulb or for eternal darkness;
5. One to give a billion dollar no-bid contract to Halliburton for the new light bulb;
6. One to arrange a photograph of Bush, dressed as a janitor, standing on a step ladder under the banner 'Bulb Accomplished';
7. One administration insider to resign and in detail reveal how Bush was literally 'in the dark' the whole time;
8. One to viciously smear No. 7;
9. One surrogate to campaign on TV and at rallies on how George Bush has had a strong light-bulb-changing policy all along;
10. And finally, one to confuse Americans about the difference between screwing a light bulb and screwing the country."
HUM - 1999 posts - what should be the 2000th post
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Good Mornin' Satchland..... How are you peoples.......
Lucy......Thanks back.
Aussie......No problem Bro.... Chin up and keep the faith.
Sugarbaby....... I'm 1/2 Italian from my mom's side and 1/2 Swedish from.....(you guessed it) dad's side. I remember the Holidays when I was a kid. We'd have all the relatives over to the house. My mom had two kitchens and the food would be cookin'..... OH MY GOD ! ! ! ! the food was outstanding. The relatives would be upstairs yelling and screaming in Italian and the siblings would be downstairs shaking our heads and laughing. When we ate......funny how quiet it got......until the food was gone .....than back to business. It was quite amusing but I love those memories. I miss my mom's cookin' alot. She was a fantastic cook....God rest her soul. Take care.
Have A Great Day Everybody ! ! ! !
