I dont like PRS guitars. Its one of those guitars that you cannot judge the sound by its price. The worst sounding PRS proabably retails for USD 1400? On the other hand, Ibanez guitars are like Hookers. The cheaper the guitar is, the worse is its sound. The better looking and better sounding ones are the most expensive. Like Steve Vai's Jems....they are HOT! And so is Chromeboy and other Ibz guitars.

When a guitar is priced at 1400 for its look, its super hard to figure out whether the guitar sounds good. Its really confusing. I hope I am making sense.....

Cheers everyone who gave their advice for my first gig. I am looking forward to it as I have nailed everything I am to play (I play guitar) and hopefully I will keep it that way - Though of course I am still nervous. I amn't playing any Satch tomorrow but I'll make sure I'll throw some licks in there. We are playing some Zeppelin though so it should be a good old rocking night :D Cheers again, Mike

dude, Joeman9.....can you try editing your messages into one post? Almost every other post seems to be yours man. I know you feel like chatting, but you can save all those thoughts for one nice monstrous big post. Some people like me do not have a very fast internet connection and it takes so damn long for the page to load. I hope you understand. Thanks.

Vote Senator John Kerry. I dont think little cokehead Bush has a chance this time!

marimari You got mail... and what is it that you like about my name? Is it my nickname or my real name? :)

It's been a great weekend! I've played some really good pool (even won a local tournament) and I met a really nice guy, which hopefully will not turn out to be a complete waste of time once I get to know him a little better. ;-) One step at a time...

my guitar teacher said that he never played a single bad ibanez. meaning all ibanez's are good. yea the lower priced one may be not htat good sounding as the 1400 ones but they still sound good. i'm getting a ibanez rg for 350. paying it for myself so can't really afford a expensive. i'm getting rg370dx but i might change to edr470ex. why isn't the edr in ibanez website? i love the edr but getting rg coz of the 24th fret that i need. are the guitars any good? what would u recommend for 350 quid?

On the Ibanez thing,

So is my guitar crappy? I bought a starter kit that everything that a beginner would need. It cost me over $300 total. So is my guitar horrible?

JS_JS I just finished my essay=-) oh yeah. did the entire thing in two days.

anyways as for posting less, sure I'll take some leave see y'all in about a week.

Joeman: I started playing with a Washburn "rocker series" guitar. Seriously, I thought that guitar was amazing.....until I heard the RG570.....woof woof woof! I fell in love with it. I have to say I am not a fan of starter kits. Most of the time the quality is just plain inferior. I believe that beginners need better guitars in order to keep them playing. Some kids just stop because their guitars are too crappy. Ibanez, Squier.....all those starter kits......man!

DEATH CUBE K: When is buckethead playing in MN? Would love to see him!

so which is better for Boss effects? the Japan made or the Taiwan made?

Jazzy Boy I know what you mean, I am a begginer and I hated my equipment, I wanted to quit cuase I couldnt afford new stuff. but then my birthday came and I got tons of money (and used it to get my new stuff, which sounds awsome) and now I play all the time, I love it. I just want new effects though cause my amp (Berhinger Gx212) isnt tube so my DS-1 doesn sounds to well with it, I want to get a Boss GT-3 or something like that, those are very sweet.

Man, that's funny!!
