Satriella...those guitars look like Fender Stratocasters...I've never heard of that particular manufacturer, so I cannot give you a critique of it. Will it be her 1st guitar? How old is she? You might want to consider a Fender Squire Stratocaster for her, at least there's guaranteed quality, with a low cost.

CAR TROUBLE

A blonde pushes her BMW into a gas station. She tells the mechanic it died.

After he works on it for a few minutes, it is idling smoothly.

She says, "What's the story?"

He replies, "Just crap in the carburetor"

She asks, "How often do I have to do that?"

AT THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE

A gorgeous young redhead goes into the doctor's office and said that her body hurt wherever she touched it.

"Impossible!" says the doctor. "Show me."

The redhead took her finger, pushed on her left breast and screamed, then she pushed her elbow and screamed even more.

She pushed her knee and screamed; likewise she pushed her ankle and screamed. Everywhere she touched made her scream.

The doctor said, "You're not really a redhead, are you? "

"Well, no" she said, "I'm actually a blonde."

"I thought so," the doctor said. "Your finger is broken."

A girl was visiting her blonde friend, who had acquired two new dogs, and asked her what their names were.

The blonde responded by saying that one was named Rolex and one was named Timex.

Her friend said, "Whoever heard of someone naming dogs like that?"

"HELLLOOOOOOO......," answered the blond.

"They're watch dogs!"

ONLY IN AMERICA:

Only in America .do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.

Only in America......do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.

Only in America ....do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.

Only in America ......do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.

Only in America ...do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.

Only in America ......do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.

Only in America......do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.

EVER WONDER ....

Why the sun lightens our hair, but darkens our skin ?

Why women can't put on mascara with their mouth closed?

Why don't you ever see the headline "Psychic Wins Lottery"?

Why is "abbreviated" such a long word?

Why is it that doctors call what they do "practice"?

Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor, and dishwashing liquid made with real lemons?

Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?

Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?

Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food?

Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?

Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?

You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?

Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?

If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal?

Random Thought

People compliment me on my tan, but what they don't realize is it's actually a tattoo!

An expensive, painful, wish-I-had-stopped-at-the-boxers-line tattoo.

Guitarmans Girl.... "It's all about guitars"....boy do I know that phrase well. To a musician, whatever the instrument of choice, it's their passion and their life. Unless they can find a special someone to share it with. It sounds as though you had that together, even if only for a few years.

You are so right when you say many people never have what you and your husband had together. It's a gift I know you must cherish, just from reading your posts.

Of course you're in a fog right now....that's to be expected. And yet....isn't it strange that the rest of the world keeps on going as usual, as though this life-changing event didn't even happen to you? When tragedy has happened in my life, I always think the rest of the world should take notice and everything should stop, just like it felt my life had stopped. But it doesn't stop, even for a moment....and you end up with a feeling of unreality, like if you could only wake up, things would be different.

I don't mean to sound cliched or trite at all, or to minimize what you are going through....but in time, hopefully, you will be able to let music back into your life again and actually enjoy it. It's good you are moving closer to family. I'm sure they will welcome you being there so you can all comfort each other, and share your memories together.

Much good luck to you...life sure can take a person on strange and difficult paths sometimes, and we don't always know why...but in the end I guess it will all make sense.

*hugs*
