Al baby--Great cat-man-cat pictures, lol! I am one of your favorite ancient ladies.....ONE HALF CENTURY plus 4 years! Think how well aged you'll be by 1/2 century!!

Michelle--I love that dog and man vid. I am a cat woman myself, although I had a dog growing up. My dad was a cat man and my mom is chicken woman.....grew up with a host of them in her backyard. I log on to SAVE A CAT every day and enter points to save kitties all over North America--USA and Canada.

Tracie--I know you love our Al baby.....isn't he adorable!!!

BCC sounds pretty decent from the samples. I never heard Glenn Hughes w/ Sabbath, but can see him fitting in with what they were at that point in time (knowing how The Eternal Idol, Headless Cross, and Tyr sounded with Tony Martin)

Wow...the samples sure came and went pretty quickly. I listened to them all two times through as soon as I saw the link. The podcasts should be starting any day now, though, so we don't have long to wait. From my initial impressions it sounds like there's a variety of musical styles on the album, kind of like PSATMOR...but I'll save other comments for podcast time.

michelle - I just bought my ticket to the Bonzo tribute on Saturday. I'm going wine tasting up in Malibu with some friends earlier that day...hopefully I can get back to Long Beach no later than 6:30 so I can make it up to LA for the gig on time. Keep your fingers crossed for me that day, yeah? :-)

I picked up the Black Country Communion CD last night on my way home. I am very impressed. I will have a chance to listen to it my second time through on the way to work today. Good vibes on the entire cd.

As with Chickenfoot, I do think there's some weakness to it. In Chickenfoot, I though Sammy could have put more thought into the lyrics (albeit they were constrained by time and it's a very small weakness in the band). I think the weakness in in BCC, so far, is some seemingly misplaced drum fills. I guess I just have to listen to it through one more time. But Jason Bonham seems to take some liberties with fills that seem unfinished or out of place. Not sure.

I do really like it so far though. It's a definite owner. Glad I picked it up. It will keep me smiling until Oct. 5 when Joe's CD hits my mailbox!! =)

Chickenfoot rocks yes..but I wanna see Sammy play more guitar so him and Joe can trade solos and all..I guess cuz he's played with Edward and now Joe..he doesn't rate but..I remember "VOA".."Standing Hampton" and others..and they were very good for the time period...Sammy needs to just lock himself in a room with Joe..and let Joe's guitar skills burn on his brain..so him and Joe can shred out on the next Chickenfoot thing...what do you all say..? lol

Wow, this webisode looks great! Not that I'm complaining about past podcasts (those were awesome, too), but the production quality here is really good. Nice work, webmaster Jon!

The song that plays for the first bit of the clip is Wormhole Wizards, which was my favorite of all the samples I briefly heard on Amazon. And then the other song was God Is Crying, but we know that from the sample that was here briefly.

It's nice to see Jeff behind the drums again, and Allen Whitman for the first time. And Mike Keneally again, too.

Wooleyman - I want Sammy to play rhythm guitar so Joe can stretch out a bit more with his lead stuff in Chickenfoot. I don't know if it'll ever happen, but that's at the top of my wishlist for the second album.
