Happy birthday to Jeff Campitelli as well!

I still remember the LISF show like it was yesterday...there was a buzz in the air that I've only felt at one other Satch show (Chickenfoot at the Fillmore last year). The previous night's show was great as well...that version of SWTA is the best I've ever heard from Joe.

I was just at the Fillmore two weekends ago to see the Black Crowes...it was great to see the LISF poster still hanging on the wall up in the balcony.

Greetings all! Can someone direct me to where I can find more information about how these "Meet & Greet" packages work?

During the opening hours of the ticket sales back in September, I purchased the M&G package for the January 11th show in Portland Oregon at the Roseland Theater. However , the only information I've received so far is my Tickets West receipt. Should I assume that I'll be getting an email with the M&G information sometime between now and the 11th? I'm getting a little nervous at this point. :)

Thanks for any info!

Gary

There ree-hee-healy should be better instructions for the meet & greet peeps. I mean, they're spending a lot of cabbage. They should at least know what to do and where to go before the day of the show. A lot of people travel to get to the shows, and from the posts on here, if you don't have internet access after you leave your house, you don't get the info. It's just not a good system.

On another note: R.I.P. Senator Mike O'Pake. If only we could fill the Senate and Congress with gentleman like Senator O'Pake, this country would be a much better place. He will be sorely missed in this community.

ahhh the same old meet n greet issues!

there shud be an email sent immediately after a m&g is purchased to explain the scenario tbh... but there isn't

But anyways, turn up about 3-4pm on the day of the show or at least a few hours before for it, there will be an email closer to the gig, but i was at the first m&g of the tour and it came at 0:01am the day of the show!

but thats the jazz really, bring ur crap for joe to sign and what not and a small camera and thats about it

partial video of Joe on Jimi Hendrix

I've seen the whole 27 minutes of this interview on my tv!! It's "on demand" under concert tv, so friggin cool to see Joe on the tele!!

Chelle, I agree on the plat peeps, they need info waaaaaay earlier than just the day of the show...maybe Joe's organizers will listen? Some people take a couple of days to travel there and have no idea what they're doing or what to expect.

CHadley, that's what it's all about baby! Texting is NOT worth losing lives over. Nothing is that important that it can't wait for you to get to your destination, or pull into a parking lot or business or parking space to read and send if it's that urgent. If you have somebody in the car with you, let them be your phone person if it's that important, but keep your attention on your driving. Imagine losing a family member because somebody had to text "lol". It's just insane. Been guilty of doing it myself, but haven't done it for months after watching a show on TV with texting horror stories with families that lost their spouses, children, sisters, and brothers due to it. Haven't done it since.

Thanks

Hi Joe - Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. You will be coming to Seattle next week and I really wish my son can meet you. He is your biggest fan. He was really disappointed that the venue is for 21 years and older only. He is only 14 and has been playing the guitar and taking lessons for almost 5 years. He is an awesome guitar player. When he won third place in a guitar contest last summer, he was asked "What will you do if you win a million dollars?" His answer was "to get lessons from one of the greatest guitar players out there, Joe Satriani". Thank you for taking the time to read my post and I hope that you will somehow respond. Take care.

respected sir,

Merry christmas and a very prosperous new year.

I always wanted to learn guitar and shredding. This is one of my wildest fantasy to learn from you and I have no idea if I would be able to. I am doing masters in Business Administration at the moment which I never wanted to do. I want to become a guitar player and live my dream. Want to do what I wanna do. Can you please teach me guitar? Can you please become my teacher? Please sir.

Waiting for your answer sir.

Thank you, Sherin Winstent
