the Prez I can only do it sometimes too. I love them though, they sounds awsome when you can get it right. I can do it was easier than I used to. it helps to use yor wah pedal if you have one, there is one spot where it just makes it so easy to do one. its cool.

Having mega distortion helps with the wah petal, have it all blaring out I can make it easier, I can do it, but it takes me a few seconds. I cannot casually do it while picking other notes, I have to change the position of my thumb to touch the string to cause the harmonic. i usually just do a natural harmonic, those are easier.

PhyrDom - Hey Dave... forgot to say welcome back to you as well!

Artanis - Lack of good kayaking locations!?! Oh well... can't win em all.

Shogun - lol man, I know what you mean! I have a hard time remembering where I was born these days, lmao! If society cared about me, they would have given me a helmet years ago!! I think it would be even cooler if Joe had some wierd lookin' dog, like a Pug, Chihuahua, or a very oddly-groomed poodle. haha, well at least his dog Griz is a ghetto barkin' hound, lol!

ToneCapone - Congrats man!

Robert Fripp has been the guitarist for the classic prog rock band 'King Crimson'. He's a very talented guitarist, who teaches as well as carries out workshops. G3 with him should be very VERY good! Kirsch

P.S: Check out www.elephant-talk.com for more info - oh yeah, and go out and buy some King Crimson Cd's! (recommend 'Red') Cya! K

webmaster - The video links for the http://epicrecords.com/g3/quicktime/ page aren't working.

EDIT - I take that back... Either you just fixed them or they decided to start working. :-)

Master Yoda - How did you get a signed copy of the Astoria DVD? Did I miss out on a contest somewhere...?
Rory1 - The scream is a combination of the whammy bar and a pinch harmonic at the 24th fret.
The Prez - I think Bil's email address is listed in his user info. If it isn't, it's his username here @aol.com.

You can always have time to practice guitar no matter what you're doing. Just ask Graham (Stu Clone)... He's in college and he still plays bass all the time.

Audio clips are available in the discography section of this site.

I'm sure Joe would love to play the national anthem at the Super Bowl, but he'll never get the chance. Television networks would almost always rather go with a popstar that'll give them ratings. Bleh.

I doubt that tab is really Joe.

michelle - :-( Sony sucks... I doubt the replacement booklet will be autographed, unless they have unsold extras sitting around somewhere.

That Sony Music Store has pissed me off again and again. They're so unorganized and their customer service is horrible... ::sigh::

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you...maybe that first booklet will show up in the mail soon.

tjplaw43 - Welcome to the site! :-)
Flagg - According to the back cover, ITLIS? should be about 58 minutes long. Those times may not be 100% correct, though.
ToneCapone - Congrats to you and your wife! You wonder how that happens so often? I have a pretty good idea...LOL. ;-)
watson1231 - I haven't heard about any lineup changes, so Joe will probably be touring with Jeff, Matt, and Galen.
Greyfox88 - I absolutely love pizza.
Crisis Pilsje - Click here for a must-have Robert Fripp album.

...Austin...

Hi, I was just wondering... - the relese date for 'Is There Love In Space?' is set as 13th of April, but I have to assume this is the US release date. Does anyone know the release date for the UK? (Oh God please let it be soon!) Many thanks. Kirsch

Hey Joe,

I was estatic to hear that G3 was coming to Europe, and fearing they were only rumours I logged on here to find out if it was true or not. I'm glad it's true but dissapointed that your not coming to play at least one show in Ireland! I mean six shows in England but not one here!? Now I ( and all your other dedicated Irish support ) will have to spend about another hundred euro to see you guys! I don't know if you are still considering venues, but PLEASE consider an Irish venue, such as The Villiage, The SFX or Vicar Street in Dublin. I know Steve likes it here as he said on a comment on Maple Leaf on Mystery Tracks Archives Vol.3 that Dublin was "That far off distant place that I always dreamed about going to", so Steve please come! I know you would get a good crowd here and everyone always raves about the Irish support.......

Thanks for listening and I just hope this messasge gets to Joe or somebody in a position of power with the Tour! Oh yeah, Joe and Steve, you guys rock!

Thanks Olan

delfino, u are soo right. i been in 3 bands during the 1 and half years i been playign guitars, first one i quit during the formation of the band coz of some idiot inviting everyone in.
2nd band lasted few months, quite long. but soon kicked out coz annoyign them. really they made out i got kicked to please a band memeber who was moaning but i decided to quit anyway.
and 3rd band which lasted 4 days. same original band i quit from, same problems of idiotic bassist and dunno who's drummer. the other guitarist, only wanted to do metallica songs, only wanted to make his songs coz he said he's the only one in our whole year who can make songs. so i decided to quit abotu half an horu ago. coz there was no music of my liking in it.
then he took mick of me wanting to do vai songs, and critising my future and my interests in playing certain music. he said and i quote ' what would u get out of playing steve vai?'
