ok everyone, help out a fellow satch-a-holic....

i was online , in a forum and this is what the guy said to me. D= D-E-F-G-A-B-C-D . the guy said to me that is the dorian scale. i said no,that is the Dmaj scale.the D dorian scale is when you apply the intervals of the dorian mode. example: CMAJ SCALE= C-D-E-F-G-A-B-C now if we start on the 2nd note in the c maj scale we get the following>>> D-E-F-G-A-B-C-D. it still has the same notes as the cmaj, but different in being,we started on the d and finish on the d.different in pitch. I then told him,D dorian mode is when you apply this>> 1-2-b3-4-5-6-b7-8 , am i wrong? help me out guys&gals.

Austin, Michelle, Tapper5: I'm on the laptop now, and will write more of my nonsense to you guys tomorrow....

All I wanted to say was (funnily enough ROFL) to Joe: 1: the beautiful face in I Believe, who's that? I think I know but if I name her and I'm wrong she'll be mad!!!!!!!!
2: Tell us about the first time you met Andy Johns! At EVH's house?! Tell us!!!!!!!!!!

Later all - my pizza sucked more than a hundred dollar hooker -( Now I'm off to eat cheese on toast!

EDIT Pete that third pic is as much a Tele as I am!!!!!!!!

Hi, Joe! I finally got a few minutes to say "hi"! I took my 5 year old daughter and her friend to Burger King today and got this Backstreet Boys video with the kiddie meal! Joe...you could really learn something from these guys about marketing yourself and the moves to do in concert! They come down from the sky on floating skateboards, and I told my husband, "Hey, Joe should come down on a surfboard dressed like an alien or something!!" And you should definitely consider the BK video thing! You KNOW I'm kidding! Somehow I don't think you and the Backstreet Boys are selling to the same audience, nor are you in the same league by any stretch! The sad part is, they're filling 70,000 seat arenas...popular appeal is a strange thing! Well, I'll have you know at least MY daughter said, "I like Joe better"! How could she not with a mom who's your biggest fan ever!! Come on Joe...come to NY or NJ again soon! My song of the day is actually from yesterday...I had Surfing on and I had to pick Echos. I have always found that song moving and even sensual in some way-really nice! Rock on!

PhryDom, good luck with the landlord. You could always say "the check is in the mail". lol! As for Fruit Loops being full of fiber & vitamins, they're (HEY, for those who are keeping tabs did I spell that right?) mostly sugar. Fruit Flavored sugar. LOL! They're good, but not necessarily good for you. As for your breakfast of espresso & cigarettes, my high school breakfasts consisted of a dose of AC/DC, a can of Mt. Dew, Peanut Butter TastyKakes, & 2 (at least) cigarettes before school. MMMM, MMMM, breakfast of champions!! Those were the days, huh? LOL!! A pack of TastyKakes were .29 cents. Now they're .75 ~ but then again, cigarettes were .75 then, and they're about $1000,00 a pack now. LOL! Good thing I'm a NON-smoker now. lol! Ohhh, I really hope I haven't said anything trampy in this post, but if I did...so fuckin' what!! People who don't like my posts should try MUCH harder not to read them. LMAO!!!!!!!!

Crystal Jammer: (re Big Bad Moon) I always thought it was "crank that up...hold that tempo..." but it's pretty unclear.

Invigor: hmmm, that looked a bit like the Crystal Planet cover, hmmm...

Here is one I made for my winamp skin readme files. I used to use it as my email signature, but they kept being sent in fonts that weren't fixed width (thus stuffing my face up a bit!)

Michelle: I don't fucking care! Whatever gets you awake is right!!!!!! Cigarettes, well, yeah they're Fort Knox material these days... in England I pay the equivalent of something like nearly 8 dollars!!!! But they do their job - gently coaxing me into my early grave..... hey wait! Why do I smoke again?!?!?! LOL And don't worry sweety - you were never trampy, and as far as I can remember your English was always good. Not like some people...!!!!!! 'Fuck em all if they can't take a joke' is something I saw on Mr EVH's t-shirt one time. I thought it was a good motto :-) Enjoy your weekend! XxX

Oh dear!!! Come on ladies, let's keep it cool. I do agree with Guitarzbabe, I thought what Michelle said was inappropriate and rude for public view. In a closed group maybe different, but not on T2J.

I also thought it should be "speak my peace" however on heavy ponderance I agree it should be "speak my piece" or "hold my peace" (ala speak now or forever...).

It's funny though, just recently I'd got steamed up about the constant your/you're discrepancies both here and in "the real world" THINK OF IT THIS WAY: "your" rhymes with "poor, pour, paw, pore" and "you're" rhymes with "poo-er" (one that poos). Okay so it's a harsh Australian accent that tends to show the difference the most...but laziness in spelling annoys me a lot.

BEN

(PS no such word as "alot") Grammar and punctuation has gone out the window, thankyou Internet. (I'm having a go at "English-as-a-first-language" people here, not those who speak a different tongue naturally.)

PPS You guys are all cool, I'll try to keep on forgiving you as you all keep forgiving me!!! I think someone famous might have said that once...

The one primary feature f a joke is that it is NOT serious. Just about every joke I have ever heard could be offensive if one were to take it seriously. While I can't say that I know Michelle personally, since I have never met her in person, I have known her via email for a few years now. But I'm not standing up for Michelle just because she's my friend. I'm standing up here because one of my greatest pet peeves in life is someone who gets offended easily, and ESPECIALLY someone who gets offended on someone else's behalf. If anyone should be offended here, it should be Joe- not that I think he would be offended in the first place. I don't think Joe would want someone deciding for him what is disrespectful or offensive. If he was offended and said so, then I could udnerstand. but you have undertaken to 'protect his honor' without even knowing whether it needs to be protected. I joke about anything and everything, and essentially, NOTHING is off-limits to me. And if anyone gets offended by my sense of humor, then they need to lighten up.

People in this world take themselves WAY too seriously.

Michelle: beat me to it! Phrygian Dominant: Froot Loops are almost completely sugar. As for the "fruit flavoured" hmmm...unlikely. They're really nice though, but you can't have them as your regular breakfast cereal. You'd turn into a giant sugar blob.

Dave Macca: about your Satch dream from a couple of weeks ago, I do recall my first "Satch dream" which was about 1-2 years ago. I dreamt that Joe was playing in this massive indoor venue in front of thousands of people as the support act for my mate's band!!! I told my friend and he screwed up his face. He doesn't take compliments well, and he's especially "self-conscious" about his band. I thought it was a great dream...

Now, without going back and re-reading my posts (i'll save that for the nit-pickers), what I remember saying to Sharon is that if Joe were to shake his Fruit Loops at me, I wouldn't mind AND I wouldn't close my eyes. WHY the hell is that sooooo offensive? Are some people so incredibly uptight that to even to THINK of Joe as a sexual being is off limits? I think THAT would be offensive to Joe! And what exactly does "shaking his Fruit Loops at me" mean? I'm sure what I was thinking at the time wasn't what some of you have come up with. Did I omit the words 'BOX OF" when I was referring to his Fruit Loops? Being RUDE to Joe is not, and never was, on my agenda. I'm done defending myself on this pathetic subject. If you have your ass up in the air because of something I said, then don't read my posts from now on and we'll all feel much better. If anyone wants to discuss this any further, please email me directly. If you know so much about me, then you should have my email address. Please use your REAL name so I know who I'm dealing with and not hide behind any nic names.

Phry Dom, that's one of my favorite sayings, along with F.T.F.F.!! ~ ef the effin' effers!!!

GUTTERbOY, werd! Snitty uptight people blow goats. I am what I am, and that's WAY better than pretending I'm something I'm not.

hey joe ~ are you gonna hang out after the minnesota show a bit so i can have you sign my JS6 again? your other autograph is a bit faded from those long hot summer night jams (you signed it 6.30.97 after g3 in mpls). my friends always warned me to somehow laquer or laminate it somehow, but i always said "...ahh, i'll just have him sign it again..." =) please negate their disbelief at that ever happening again...

thanks bro!
