TASTEY, yeah, he died in July 2003....I can't believe it's more than 2 years already! Thanks for the e-mail....short but sweet! hehe :-D
Yeah things are cool thanks. I'm pretty busy working (teaching) and enjoying it. I'm still kind of disappointed that News In Brief didn't get anyone's attention, but listening to it now I can hear it's flaws. Al and I are still both really pleased with it though, and are always greatful for your involvement.
I can't believe that was over a year ago! How about you? Apart from the obvious, how is everything else? It's great to hear you got cats to keep you company....they're the best! how many have you got?
shreddykruger, shit you're narrow-minded! I'm sure Joe would not warm to your theme - I talked to him about Robert Fripp and the poor reception he got on G3, and Joe said it had been his pleasure and honour to work with someone of such stature and importance, and he'd had a wonderful time working with him.
Have some respect dude...I know we're all entitled to our own opinion, and if you don't like Fripp that's fine, but there's better ways of sharing your thoughts.

All I know of Vai is from G3 but when I was in a music store yesterday I bought the anthology on a whim. I was asking if it was any good as I hadn't had the chance to listen to it yet.
English Dave
Thanks man, all the best.

I'm afraid it's true, so extra good wishes to you and the two bundles of joy you are carrying. Spoze I'd best include the Kook as well! LOL
Keep rocking all.

I know what Shreddy said was a bit below the belt but in some way i sort of agree ( not as strongly mind !!) but Fripp did tend 2 stick 2 his own and wander off into some pretty weird noises . I was at the Birmingham performance and it was the first i'd seen of him , dont get me wrong his music is vastly influential ! but he maybe shud think of ways to branch out to a larger audience .

TASTEY: No maam, no trips back home in a loooong time, lol,
I'm sure it's pretty brisk at the moment.... My sis moved to N.H.
(Atkinson), and my Dad wants to move closer to her.... Mom lives at the entrance to the Cape (Sandwich).... Man, I'd love to have a house there!.... Take care Stace....
Zenfish: I blame Sammy cause \//-/ music went to I cant drive 55 100% IMO.... Stopped liking them after 1984 cause there should only be one git with Ed on stage.... Yeah, I know, I'm stubborn when it comes to Ed, lol....

regarding Lord God King Fripp... I posted this earlier but you guys might have thought it was a crack-inspired post seeing as I didn't attribute it to anything... but what the hey... here it be thegain...
Why do you sit down on stage?
Because I can't play guitar standing up.
Do you think people see you as being moody by sitting down?
I couldn't care less.
first answer edited a little for brevity. taken from here
EDIT: my spelling sometimes could be better :-P
