Today I played my first footie match in fucking ages, and I really surprised myself!!! Not only was I nowhere near as bad as I thought I was at the game, but I'm not nearly as unfit as I thought I was either. Looks like all that beer hasn't quite taken it's toll on my health which is great news; it means I can have more!!!! lmao

It comes at a cost though - I have a groin strain... :-(

Joe,

I've heard your music before in the 80's and 90's, ( and it wasn't being played very much), but thought nothing of it because I didn't really know who the artist was or the name of the song(and I'm a music freak)! which is why I was thinking that you didn't want yourself or your music to be known, but since gradually over the years I began to find out just who you were, I got in to you more and more.

I just can't believe just how gifted you really are, I mean, you can really wail on that guitar and the fact that you taught yourself. You know, some people are born with their gifts and I really believe that this was something that you were born with because nobody can just pick up a guitar and play like you do. I love it that you just play instrumental type music and I agree with you that words along with the guitar would spoil the beauty of the music it self. Out of all of the CD's I have purchased of you, there is not one song that I don't like.

I don't know how you figure out what to name all of those songs, but I guess that goes along with the imagination that you have to figure out all of those songs. I can't believe that I am actually writting to you. I feel that I am close to you just by writting and I can't believe that you would have the time to read and write back to all of your fans. I mean, just being a "rock star" would keep you busy enough!

Remember it is only my opinion. You have such beautiful black hair, but yet you shave your head and I know that it is the "in" thing to do(or is that why you did it)? I see it all around me and I just can't understand why guys shave their heads when they are young and can have it. I mean, you should enjoy it while you have it because when you get older chances are you won't. Can you see what I am saying?

I've never been this close to a rock star before so this is the first time. When I listen to your music, I wish that I could do something like that. Your music just takes me away. It makes me feel like I'm actually in the band and that's a good feeling. You keep getting better and better every time I listen to you. I wish you luck with the "Super Colossal" concert and hope it turns out the way you want it to. Hold on to that gift of yours and never, never let go of it. Your are a very special person with great talents!

Sincerely,

Judemeister

Stevee T, no wedding crashers as far as I could tell. My niece had a beautiful handfasting ceremony (she's Wiccan.) It was so cool, and the smell of sage changed the entire vibe inside the church. The wedding party looked fantastic. The mother of the bride - my sister, and I have a seriously strained relationship (actually the entire family has a strained relationship with her now). She's lost her way big time. I used to be so proud of her, but I have lost all respect now. I could have really used some sage, but instead, every time she made a fool of herself, I'd look at my bro-in-law (her soon to be ex-husband) and grab my bottle of Jager. He'd hold up his cup for a refill, I'd pour a shot, and we'd have a toast. lol! Regardless, and more importantly, it was a beautiful day.

P.P.Cakes and Cube, stop touching each others wood!

Michelle: Congrats on the Wedding! No serious drama from the sounds of it.... Is this the sister that I met at the Powwow? Her daughter seemed like she was 16.....not old enough to marry. Never know....... I wish you and your entire family peace & good vibes. Sounds like they need it. Hell, so does my family!! lol....A few weeks ago my sis announced that while she's on her vacation in FLa they decided to get married there. Oh wonderful......His fanily lives there so let's have the wedding there. Our family is larger and mostly in the NE USA. Of course it' s right in the middle of Joe's tour! I'm driving to Greensburg 5 hours fri for the show, drive home sat then hop on a plane Sat nite from Philly to FLa for the wedding and fly home Tues am. Work Wed & thurday then got to NYC for JOe and work Fri...but I'm going in late! At least I can do that...I'll be flying down again 2 weeks later to see Joe in Boca after seeing him at several other shows......Whew!! I'm going to need to up my training so I'll be in great shape for this freakin schedule....lol Oh yeah!! let's see some young one's try and keep up with that!! ;-))

The Shaman & my journeying was very kuul. He was exactly what I need at this stage of my life. I've gotten insight and answers. it's not for everyone. Only those that are on a higher spiritual level or those that are open minded.......It's hard for me to explain but I've always felt grounded/ connected to to life on another level. Shaman have been around for 4000 year, long before many civilizations. It's just something that has helped me reveal my power within....anything I can do to be a better human being I will do.That is the purpose of the entire human species but many do not realize this............

Peace.

mari

Hey Joe and everyone else on the board.....

Just signed up on the site, look forward to talking with all of you. I am a 23 guitar player from Milwaukee, been a Satch fan for about 10 years, been playing for 11. I write instrumental guitar music, am a huge Satch nut. If any of you are interested in hearing any of my stuff, let me know, or you can find me on myspace. I look forward to talking with many of you about guitars, music and of course, Joe.

Joe, just wanted to say that even though we did not meet (for the lines were of course, as expected, massive), I did get a chance to see you in person finally at this year's NAMM show, which was a very humbling experience. I was fortunate to be chosen to go out with my company and attned my first show, and managed to escape my booth for 10 seconds to get close enough for a picture. All of the new stuff looks great, very impressed with the straps and such. The new tunes sound great, will be preordering the album. Thanks for rockin so hard, you are the reason I pick up my guitar everyday.
