Steve T - I'll call "electricrainbow2297" and see if he has any pics of his to post. Lon lives up here and has one. They are very nice. He has said he's never seen another one. They are elusive.

Good Morning Satchland How have you guys been?

To all the people effected by Katrina....God bless you all. My heart goes out to all of you.The governor has called for a complete evacuation of the Big Easy. They're saying people may not return for a couple of months. What a terrible, horrific situation for everyone.

Stevee T...... Thanks for the pic on the JS guitar. They are beautiful. I remember a post awhile ago with a link asking if the women on the site was Joe's sister. It looks like she is. I thought I read somewhere.....maybe on one of Joe's cd's that Rubina painted the Skull and Bones guitar. Can you confirm? Anybody? Do you know the price of the Satriani sister guitars? Take care.

mom yesterday was a bit blowy, but fine for riding. today's really warm again! it seems i'll be ok. thank you! xxx
delfino 2GB or RAM on a graphics card?!?! crikey! you gonna audtion for george lucas' place?!?! sounds great bro :-) regarding your killswitch, make the two contacts on the switch come from any hot and cold points (input jack is a good place, but there might not be enough room for two more wires through the hole. maybe try the output of your volume pot). you'll be shorting the circuit directly so there shouldn't be any buzzing.
hey Joe what's up, boss?

How about some comic relief?.....These are true.....You have to wonder about people sometimes......#10 is my fav. HINT....Grab some mouthwash before you read that one...lol..... 2005 Darwin Award Winner:

1. When his 38-calibre revolver failed to fire at his intended victim during a hold-up in Long Beach, California, would-be robber James Elliot did something that can only inspire wonder. He peered down the barrel and tried the trigger again. This time it worked.....

And now, the honorable mentions:

2. The chef at a hotel in Switzerland lost a finger in a meat cutting machine and, after a little hopping around, submitted a claim to his insurance company. The company, expecting negligence, sent out one of its men to have a look for himself. He tried the machine and lost a finger. The chef's claim was approved.

3. A man who shoveled snow for an hour to clear a space for his car during a blizzard in Chicago, returned with his vehicle to find a woman had taken the space. Understandably, he shot her.

4. After stopping for drinks at an illegal bar, a Zimbabwean bus driver found that the 20 mental patients he was supposed to be transporting from Harare to Bulawayo had escaped. Not wanting to admit his incompetence, the driver went to a nearby bus stop and offered everyone waiting there a free ride. He then delivered the passengers to the mental hospital, telling the staff that the patients were very excitable and prone to bizarre fantasies. The deception wasn't discovered for 3 days.

5. An American teenager was in the hospital recovering from serious head wounds received from an oncoming train. When asked how he received the injuries, the lad told police that he was simply trying to see how close he could get his head to a moving train before he was hit.

6. A man walked into a Louisiana Circle-K, put a $20 bill on the counter, and asked for change. When the clerk opened the cash drawer, the man pulled a gun and asked for all the cash in the register, which the clerk promptly provided. The man took the cash from the clerk and fled, leaving the $20 bill on the counter. The total amount of cash he got from the drawer...$15. (If someone points a gun at you and GIVES you money, is a crime committed?)

7. Seems an Arkansas guy wanted some beer pretty badly. He decided that he'd just throw a cinderblock through a liquor store window, grab some booze, and run. So he lifted the cinderblock and heaved it over his head at the window. The cinderblock bounced back and hit the would-be thief on the head, knocking him unconscious. The liquor store window was made of Plexiglas. The whole event was caught on videotape.

8. As a female shopper exited a New York convenience store, a man grabbed her purse and ran. The clerk called 911 immediately, and the woman was able to give them a detailed description of the snatcher. Within minutes, the police apprehended the snatcher. They put him in the car and drove back to the store. The thief was then taken out of the car and told to stand there for a positive ID. To which he replied, "Yes, officer, that's her. That's the lady I stole the purse from."

9. The Ann Arbor News crime column reported that a man walked into a Burger King in Ypsilanti, Michigan, at 5 a.m., flashed a gun, and demanded cash. The clerk turned him down because he said he couldn't open the cash register without a food order. When the man ordered onion rings, the clerk said they weren't available for breakfast. The man, frustrated, walked away.

A 5-STAR STUPIDITY AWARD WINNER!

10. When a man attempted to siphon gasoline from a motor home parked on a Seattle street, he got much more than he bargained for. Police arrived at the scene to find a very sick man curled up next to a motor home near spilled sewage. A police spokesman said that the man admitted to trying to steal gasoline and plugged his siphon hose into the motor home's sewage tank by mistake. The owner of the vehicle declined to press charges, saying that it was the best laugh he'd ever had.

Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! ! !

SteeveT - right now I'm doing the final mix to The Rape of the Sabine Women

it is so frustrating.... I'm so close to getting it rght...
but there is always one little thing....
like the guitar is too toppy, or the bass is a gnats cock too loud...

maybe I'm being overly fussy and just say "fuck it... I can't do any better... crack on and just finish the fucking thing.."

it's doing my head in..

phryg - I was in Dallas when the tornados ripped up Fort Worth and Grand Prarie..
I was house hunting at the time and meeting the guy that was offering me a job over there...

anyways... sirens were going off... and from where I was standing in my hotel room, it was raining 'up'... we all got ushered into the hallways [no windows etc]...
it was a pretty nasty experience....

one thing I'll never forget.... is laying by the pool after work... 85F.. not a cloud in the sky... then a line of black cloud slowly comes over... but you can see the blue sky in the distance turning yellow and orange as the sun was setting.. but the cloud above was the blackest I'd ever seen... it was like being under a spooky black canopy.. the air felt really odd.. sort of 'charged'.... then the hail started.... almost golf ball sized... machine gunning to pool....
the guy I was with was from Oki.. he said.. "the sky's rotating.. we'd better get inside.. this could get bad.."
then the sirens went off and all shit broke loose..
and I was a little over 10 miles from the closest of the two that touched down..

it was bad.. a couple of people got killed too...

Phrydom- Know what you mean about moving NOW but I am currently re-training for a different career so am a bit in-between times in my thinking! We've always thought we would like to move out there in our 40s... about 10 years from nowI suppose... I am a teacher at the moment, so hopefully could get work in that if I have to, but am re-training as an Educational Psychologist over the next 2 or 3 years, so.. It's something we are definitely going to do though. However I won't ever benefit from Italian coffee though as I hate it! :)

Bahduh- Hope you are ok, how's the little one btw?

Chris / Guitarmeister2005- Thanks for the Joe settings- we have a JSX! Can't help about the Digitech Whammy though, sorry.

svk- maybe.... but this is England we are talking about! It's our best chance for a long, long time, we'll see! I would love nothing better!

Hi Joe, I'm writing from Turkey..I watched your shows in 1998 in Des Moines Iowa (Crystal Planet Tour) and in Belgium (G3 with Michael Schenker and U.J.Roth) the same year. I would like to know if someday you'll come to our country for concert. As much as I know you've never come here. If it requires the existance of a fan club in Turkey, I'm ready to found one. I'm sure you have lots of fans around here.I would like to watch you again.Waiting for your answer....

This message is to dck, or anyone else who can help me. I have a peavey amp that has the two fx loop jacks. I have a digitech whammy, a boss ds-1 and a l6 pod xt live pedal board, and a dunlop wah. Which pedals would you reccommend going into the loop and which into the input jack for the guitar? I only have 4 cables or maybe 5, so how many more would i use or need, i have never used my fx loop part of the amp Any help would very much appreciated.

Thanks, chris

Hello Satchland.........I hope there is peace and goodwill throughout the land of Satch....;)

Just popping in briefly tonight...... I owe a few replies to posts, Sorry.I'll get back to you later... In light of the recent tragic events I feel I need to acknowledge and address the unbelievable situation in the Southern Gulf states hit hard by Hurricane Katrina. She showed NO MERCY!! As Stevee T said....."All you Southerner's......hope God is with you tonight...." I couldn't have said it better myself. My thoughts and prayer's are with all of those affected by Hurricane Katrina. Too much Loss and Devastation to be fathomed just yet....it's just unbelievable! I'm in shock. They say it's the worst Natural Disaster to hit the United States........I think it is. They don't consider what happened to American Indian's as "natural disaster" although there was a much greater loss of life and even worse a complete erasure of a culture and race that co-existed with the Earth and Mother Nature for Centuries. I guess that's a Man-Made Disaster....Sorry that's one of my Life's regret......being a white woman. I regret many things my forefathers did to people of ALL COLORS....Red, Black, Yellow and Green.......;-0 I know those Aliens were abused.....they became Michael Jackson. hehe! sorry...... Anyway ...... If you find it in your HEART to HELP the PEOPLE OF THE SOUTHERN GULF STATES ....PLEASE DONATE TO THE RED CROSS......I WILL BE. I'm not asking you to help if you are unable...........please HELP if YOU CAN..........That's all that we can do being so far away from the situation. I thank you. God Bless the US!! New Orleans! (US rhymes). hee-hee!

FABLawyerSBM: Ronnie, I got an email from Steven today that he got Roy's CD!! Thank You again! Hey, sorry to hear about your crush with a hott singer that has looped guitar tracks......how coiuld you Ronnie?! .....hee-hee! I'll get an email to you this weekend about my tour.......

bahduh: Mark, I'll post more about Steven this weekend....I promise. I hope you are doing well my friend.

Zinc: Thanks for so many good ones!! The Wal Mart applicant was just ROTFLMAO!! Too funny dude......Thanks so much for sharing!! ;)))

Shel, Clarky, Cheese, Alex, Suzie, Mikey, 962, Al, Tool, DCK and to all my friends...hi!! be back another day.......
