SUPAADAVE, i was trying to think of where i heard of virginia minnesota and then i remembered in the early 80's i was on the road with a band from madison wi. and we played a place called the opera house in V.M. in the winter and boy was it cold. the place had rooms above the bar and we stayed and played there for a week. i remember it was a nice club and it had a big stage. is the place still there and operating? we called it the frigid tour because we played houghton mi. then hurley, virginia mn. and then back to madison wi all in january. i was never so cold in my life

Stevee T did you have any luck after my second e-mail to you or your site?? If not e-mail me your address.. Thomas actually posted a revised version of "Groove or Die" by Andy Timmons with a friends guest solo. I prefer Thomas' own solo, the guest sounds like Brett Garsed playing Andy Timmons which is cool but not my own preference for that song.....

Vince Neil may have sparked the latest FCC controversy for his use of an expletive during Jay Leno's New Year's Eve broadcast - but he's still a family man at heart. The Mötley Crüe frontman is planning to marry his longtime girlfriend, Lia Gerardini, this Sunday in Las Vegas. According to the music industry publication Friday Morning Quarterback, rapper-turned-Reverend MC Hammer will preside over the proceedings. Perhaps in preparation for the their lifetime of domestic bliss, Neil and Gerardini were recently spotted getting tattoos together at a Vegas tattoo parlor.

Overcast and miserable here too, but then again we've had a heat wave here lately. The power outage earlier didn't exactly help my disposition when I woke up.

eamon7.....I know there is no "Opera House" in Virginia today. It could have been any number of places on main street....my guess is the "Maco Theatre"...but I don't know how long that place has been around either...I did'nt grow up around here so.....I'll ask my boss this afternoon...he's a born 'n bred northlander. What was the name of the band you were touring with if you don't mind me asking?

I have been a fan since 1987 when I first hear the album Surfing with the Alien. I have only seen two live shows back in early 90's and have turned on many others to the awsome player you are. I received such a cool gift for Christmas from a good friend, the DVD Live from San Fransico. I Need to get out and be at a live gig soon again. I have been a guitar player for quite some time now and have developed my own style of playing, although I always wonder if you still give guitar playing advise or lessons of some type?
Also, ifyou ever want to check out some uniquie guitar effects pedals, you can look at: www.musicalsoundproducts.com for some cool pedals.
Hope you are feeling well after reading you were sick and had to reschedule some shows recently.

Michelle I Hate it here lol I'm a City Boy and my parents dragged me out into the middle of nowhere And i've hated it since so me and my parents made a deal I get some drums if i'd shut up lol their was a catch i didn't get a christmas or birthday lol I took it..... nice drums (Pearl's)Loaned em to my Drummer for my band lol he needy some new Equip so this'll help for the time being now i need a New guitar And THANK THE LORD my big city 30 miles away..Tulsa Is getting a GuitarWorld with their own testing studio in it so i can go in their and test ANYTHING they sell lol that'll kick ass .

I`ve been busy and i`m a little concern about my sister because she is with a Breath problem, she is not very well :-/.
I got a few new cds and dvds: DT live @ Budokan, Spocks Beard (The light limited edition), Nirvana box and a Prodigy Vinyl :-)). All cool stuff :-) !!! The new Gonçalo Pereira DVD is done. Soon it will be available. You can see me on the concert section :-))) !!!

Mikesb – I had forgotten about it, but I was researching an 80’s site for some tunes to play in my cover band and the title stuck with me. Then it seemed appropriate with Michelle’s dance. Call me weird or a CE they’re kinda the same. Hey how’s the note reading going? I have a guitar class where I’m going to be graded on sight-reading. I’m a bit scared!!
