John....haven't been to Vinnie's site in awhile, but I knew about the new album he's working on, thanks to my son who keeps his old mother informed of important stuff like that, LOL! He introduced me to Vinnie, Joe, lots of others.....Vinnie is great, looking forward to what he puts out. Chris loves to play his music too....I wanted to record him also playing Vinnie's "Rain" cuz he does a great job on it but either my camera ran outta memory or battery...or I'm too retarded, LOL!!

Hey peeps, I don't wanna bring the board down from all the excitement of Joe's tour, but I need to ask a favor ~

Today I drove my stepdad to his appointment to have his long overdue colonoscopy. He's been in bad shape for a while now, and today they found a large cancerous tumor in his lower colon. He's going to be admitted into the hospital tomorrow, and will have surgery as soon as possible. My poor mom is a mess. If you all could say prayers of strength and health and send good vibes for my parents, John and Vivian, I would appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

btw-- just caught up with webmaster posts here on t2j and wanted to follow up to the comments about the last contest. as cheese noted, it was clearly stated that it was open to all fans, *including* outside of the US. as a general rule (with few exceptions), the contests that *we* run are open to everyone.... the aftershow pass giveaways, cds, etc. the problem (and understandable frustration for those outside of the US) is pretty much always with contests run by other folks who are working on promoting Joe. they are often restricted from opening it up to the entire world for legal reasons.

i just wanted to make it clear that we work to include *everyone* as often as possible and that no one out there-- be it at the label or record stores, etc-- is actively trying to restrict things. it's just one of those legal things that are out of our control.
