Hi Joe!

Can't wait to see you at the "Marshall Live and Loud" show in September...got seats pretty much right in front of you, (if you are playing in your usual place on the stage) at the front, so will give you lots of waves...this will be just like Seville 92, well kind of LOL

Still would like to see a G3 at some point, but alas for me it wont be yet...but great for Australia ...

have fun all of you who will be going to one of those gigs!

Mind you...with Joe and Paul Gilbert and Zakk Wylde, playing as well as many others its almost like a G3 and more, except no Steve, and I guess you cant have a G3 without Steve!

All in all this will be FANTASTIC I am sure!!!

Boingy Boingy Bounce Bounce...are we nearly there yet?

Pip - Thought you had disappeared off the face of the earth...but here you are LOL Hiya matey :-)

Muchly Hugs to all of you

Satriella xx

Skippy- I'm going to let myself think that Joe read my suggestion about playing Secret Prayer and enjoy the moment. Ahhh it feels good. I would LOOOOOOOOOOOVE to see that song live!

You know, concerning Joe's new amp, I have seen NOTHING on Facebook from any of the major music news outlets about the release of the JVM410JS. You'd think Musicradar would have posted a link to an article at the least. I'll have to go check out their website. Musikmesse is over, is it not?

In other news, if these haven't already been posted, here are a couple vids from the tour:

Ah, I had like 5 linked and realized most of them are from the same person; Basitha Gajasinghe. He or she has quite a collection from the Auckland show, pretty good quality as well.

Enjoy

Ian

Edit-Here is Secret Prayer in case that was all you're looking for, like me!!

Just watched a BUNCH of the G3 vids on Utoob.. *drooling* Lord thundering Jebus how I loves me some shred! As usual, the guys are on their game.. gangbusters!

Going to see The Frankenstein Brothers in Syracuse next Wednesday (April 4th) and I can't recommend this show highly enough! If Buckethead and That 1 Guy are coming near you check them out! Tell Uncle Mikey that Phydeaux_3 sent ya!

I'm still kind of in shock that I went from thinking I'd never see Buckethead LIVE to seeing him twice in the same year!

Giggity!

Holy fuck, we rec'd that a while back... Secret Prayer, really!? That's been on of my favs to hear live forever AMAZEBALLS

Thankkkkkkkkkks, Joseph

I really wanna see how he does that tricky sweep slidey bit thing in the solo... It's a bitch to get

Pretty challenging one to play live I bet... It's rather graceful and has to be listened to properly

I'd go to Europe to see G3 just for this... Remember I booked tickets for a show in London before an Irish date was announced.. Might wait a bit

Al - Joe said he included Secret Prayer because it was suggested on T2J so there you go.

And they're jamming My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mother :-)

Thanks for the 2012 tour Joe!!

Check out Mr Fastfinger. Pretty much blew my mind first time I listened to his first album, "Way of the Exploding Guitar". Have just had a similar experience on listening to his new album. Seriously cool musician, very inventive :-]

Hi Joe I’ve enjoyed your playing so much over the many years (thank you), and also a big fan the two Steves who you played with at the recent G3 concert in Wellington. However, my friends and I were dismayed at the incredibly loud volume of the concert; it was so loud, that most of the time your guitar lacked expression, subtlety or dynamics. There was very little separation between instruments most of the time - just a wall of distortion. I was a rock musician and recording engineer for a number of years, and know when sound is dangerously loud. I had to leave the main auditorium for the last half hour, and watch through the foyer doors (even though I had ear plugs). It's a shame that rock concerts have got so loud over the years; the PA system looked like it was meant for an outdoor arena! Thanks for listening. Robin

Hi all,

i would like to ask a little question to joe or may be to mike manning if he read this!

i would like to know about the settings of the guitar .What is the height of the strings from the neck? What is the height of the two pickups from the body of the guitar. Is it the same setting for all the guitars of Joe?

bye friends

G'day all ,beck home after my Canberra trip and Guitar hero experience ! zardoz1 I don't think it was too loud in our venue , they did take a while to find that spot tho, once they did it was good, and me being on an angle probably didn't help , but had a good time anyways

now home back to normal..what ever that is

hey Joe, do you ever get time off? to go home and spend time with your family? i gather you have kids, not being rude anything but looking at your gigs you always seem to be on the road.. I guess would be the same thing for Steve Vai too... hope some times you get home, not till Skippygirl gets to see you tho :-)

oh and this on the site too

We do aftershow pass giveaways for all shows except festival and special events out of our control, so after you've got your satriani.com account set up and have bought your tickets, go to edit show attendance to enter!

so must have been out of there control.. strange.. anyways..
