JS CLONE Well my friend is an auto technician, and he's going to engineering school now. So he knows about cars. He's done alot of upgrades with the civic. I said the same thing you did as far as its ability when I first saw it. But the truth is he can easily beat most cars in 1/4 mile. I know its hard to believe a civic could do that. Anyway I personally would have chosen a different car to work on.

Yippee!!! There's the blue...

I reckon it should be 25 brand new songs, or different versions of old songs. I don't want to hear again what I already listen to all the time.

If I wanted a 25 track album, I'd go to my (perfectly legal) JS mp3 collection and (perfectly legally) burn myself 2 CDs of 25 songs of my own choosing. Except I hate wasting space so it would have 35-36 instead. It would cost me $1, and Joe absolutely nothing.

So I don't care what's on it. Woodstock Jam should be. There's nothing else by Joe like it.

Hey Joe, I was wonderin'....what was the first song that you ever wrote that ended up on one of your cd??..If I remember,'TIME' was written back in 'surfing' era but got released only on Crystal Planet...you have earlier ones(written before Not Of This Earth) that got their places on late albums???how did you feel after you wrote your first song???

Joe: Twice in the same day! Too cool.

JS Clone: Civics have become the "small block Chevy" of the 21st century. You can get anything for them. The aftermarket guys just love them because so much is interchangeable with other Honda and Acura models. The first and second generation vtec engines are the best, like the 1.6 you mentioned. For the money, there's no better way to build a quick little car. I don't understand the attraction with drag racing though. Kinda boring after a while. I spent more than my share of time at the dragstrip and got over it. The most fun was the ProStock bike we built. Over 330 bhp at the rear wheel out of an air cooled, naturally aspirated 1400cc engine. It ran 7.22 @ 191 mph. Not bad. Real expensive though. Anyway, back to cars, I really like civics for what they are. I hate what most people end up doing to them though. Shitty sounding exhaust coming out of a 1.3 liter carb model HF just doesn't scream performance to me. If I had my choice of imports to build it would most likely be a TT or WRX. All wheel drive baby. As far as Subaru's obsession with turbos, I think it's mostly due to their sport of choice Rally Cross. I suppose when you have that much power in a situation like that, a little bit of lag probably helps keep it a little more controllable than being straight up in your face lol.

Joe, can you give us any hints as to what direction the new album is heading?

Some months back you mentioned something about the new stuff being rhythm heavy, could that be because of the fat bottom riffs coming from your new 7-string guitars?

I hope so, I really liked the riffs on "Mind Storm" and "Seven String"

Thanks for the Video clip it was good to see you and thanks for all the great music you have given us all the pleasure to enjoy.

Has anybody here joined GuitarAlliance.com?(online guitar lessons)

If so tell me what you think.

Most of it looks like it's geared towards beginners but there is a lot there for all levels of guitarist as well.

WOW JimboJim has just asked a decent question I've never heard before. Yeah, I'm interested in timelines, chronology and that kind of stuff.

I like on those "bestof" CDs that say when the songs were recorded, released and also the timespan of their writing.

OCPS470,

My initial plan was to just have the chords/rhythm part the way it is...
I have tried it out though, and might do it with real bass... would have to be DEAD on with the timing though.
That would also be a lot of work with track timing. I'll see how it works out.

DeadmanInc - Matt Bissonette played with Joe on the last tour, and I see no reason why he won't also be playing with Joe on this G3 tour.
