Hi Everyone, been a little too busy with work lately. I'm sick, frustrated and tired of work lately, but there's only one way here.

cheese101: I'm happy you are enjoying yourself with those Joe Concerts. You're doing the best you can for your son, and I often remember what my parents did and still do for me just to see me happy. I couldnt be more proud of you.

estrela: how are you doing? Sorry I have been so busy and only today had the oppurtunity to see the funny email you sent me! take care and keep posting!

michelle: thanks for those emails, they really did make my day!

mari: hi mari!!!

steven wilde: dude, take care.

and a big hello to 962, bahduh, alexandre, yoda, clarky, the great slanshroom, fablawyer, civgeek, zinc, cuth, tune, bubbles, tastey, delfino, dck, mikey, suzie (hi!!!!), aussiergman, hoiguy, fretslayer and everyone possible!

Fretslayer: indeed man, I'll be around is a very touching song. I just heard Lost in Thought today and felt very uplifted, and Race day definitely gets the weekends rocking! be sure to hand steve your cd!!! peace bro, you rock!

Joe, do you consider playing live to be a relaxing experience? Something that eases you? or do you consider it hard work, yet fun? hope you enjoy japan and india.

The John Petrucci Solo album sounds excellent! Anyone check it out yet? If not, you should go to his website and listen to some sound clips.

my friend worked the Vai concert this past weekend. He said that Steve alone played 3 hrs. That's not counting Eric as the opener. Sounds like it'll be another good show...

Joe - Have seen many of your shows since "Alien" came out. Always loved seeing you play. I was in Vegas HOB April 9th and you rocked again but I was a little disappointed when you didn't play one of your best, "-groove thing". After hearing you say you still have to practice it every day, I can understand, but you've got to know how great it is to hear you play it live. Also, "Funky Monkey" was excellent at HOB. I am from across the river from Cincinnati, had to go to Columbus during the week to see you couple months ago. It was definitely worth it though. Being 40, there aren't alot of acts like yours and it's always great to come out to see you. Hoping you'll "grow old "with me, keeping fresh stuff coming out as long as you are able. I promise to keep my ears open as long as you promise to keep filling them up. Dedicated to the ones I love, Tony L

VFR, haha, I used to feel the same about the Cayenne but it has grown on me a little. I still think it's kind of odd though, but it's a testament to Porsche's design and engineering skills that they can build and sell both the Cayenne and the Carrera GT and blow away the competition with both! hahaha, "like ibanez sponsoring a westlife tour"...that's hilarious!

OCPS470, yeah I like the new 'vette too. And the only Viper for me has got to be the original RT/10. It looked so hard, especially with the roof down, I love that car. The GTS (of 97, 98 kind of vintage), as raced in LeMans GT2 class, was also a beauty, but the RT/10 was the dog's bollocks.

And personally, I like the look of American cars, and they sound great, but in engineering terms they suck. They're way too heavy, and the effort that is put into making a decent handling package is minimal. Yeah a 4x4 Viper would be interesting, and I think it would shave off more than a half second!

estrela, thanks for the message. if you move into Brazil as a tourist, does it mean you're not allowed to do paid work? Also, hehe, no I collected the cat yesterday! She's back home and being very adorable! Everything here is ok thanks....how about you?
Dizzy, congrats :-)
michelle, fair enough, I won't argue with you! hehe. I thought the bit when Mustaine told the others outright that he found it so hard to watch everything they touch turn to gold, while everything he did was crushed, was pretty amazing. I respect him for telling them that, but yeah, he does need to have more confidence and finally get over the whole thing. That said.....how can anyone really compete with Metallica? You get kicked out of one of the biggest bands in music history, and you then try to compete with them?!?

It's a cool DVD, I'm sure I'll watch it again before I give it back to the dude who loaned it to me!

chron, 3 hours? He wasn't making a DVD was he?! haha
jazzzzy, howdy bro! Hope you're cool man.....don't get too bogged down with the work!!

MP3s are now available at the RECOIL site on the media page. I recommend Nothing, Slip Away, and Lost (they just happen to be the three I wrote on my own).

Please bear in mind that they were recorded about a year ago, so much progress has been made since. Enjoy!!!!!

Jazzy, I know how upset you are that Britney's baby isn't yours. lmao! The drummer kid made me laugh the entire first day I saw it. My husband had it on his desktop, so it was playing for hours.

Tracie, I LOVED reading your story about the shows. YOU and Chris have earned your titles of Satchaholic! lol!

Simon, make sure to watch the DVD a second time if you can. It kinda sinks in better the second time around. I think the fans played a big part in the rival of the 2 bands. Also, I guess Dave thought they were better friends than they were, which is a shame, and just goes to show how nasty James & Lars could be back then.

Yoda, listening to your tunes now. Dude, I was like WTF?? Is that a dude singing, cause if it is, you're not the only one who caught gay. lol! Then I checked out the other pictures and seen it was Zoe. lmao! It does say "former vocalist" but I was anxious to hear the music so I skipped that part. lol! The band sounds great. I'd pay to go see 'em. lol! What's the singer sound like now? Who's solo is that halfway past the middle of the song Lost - oooohhhhh, drums now too. I'm digging this song!! lol! Great stuff. How much for the cd??

michelle - The new singer sounds like some kind of crazy cross between Brandon Boyd, Howard Jones, and James Hetfield, with a small dose of Scott Stapp. The solos for Lost go James then me. I also do that crazy alternate picking part after the breakdown. Except I can actually play it up to speed now... lol

Yoda - I'm listening to the Mp3s right now. I'm 1/2 way throughLet me heal and I've listened to Lost. Good stuff. I like the rhythm on Let Me Heal. Both songs remind me of early Queensryche both in compositionand in tone. I'm interested in how the new singer fits in. When do you think there will be some new recordings?

Mike - He's not that creative. He's a drummer!! LOL. He just told me he had my Pert hanging. He doesn't say too much. In all honesty he knows that he is the weak link musically and actually has a bit of the paranoids that we are all going to leave and find another drummer. He did question my ability this week before rehearsal though. We added Shapes of Things. The Gary Moore version. After listening to it, ha calls me and says "You really think you can play that solo?" I was floored. So of course I practiced it for about 45 min before practice and then nailed the solo but just smiled. He was like "OK, OK, you proved your point." I don't expect any of those comment for a while. hee hee How are those Cubans? Did you smoke em all already?

Clarky I found out that the team with the best name wins free beer...so as long as I can think of something cool then its cool.

First prize at one of the clubs is a gallon of the beer of your choice...so too shabby methinks.

Yoda The mp3's are sound excellent, can't wait to hear what you get done over the summer.

Me and my drummer tried getting the practice room today seeing as all our ICT work has been done now. However, the head of the music department is being a sphincter about it, the lower years (my college is a 6th form centre so we have to share with a senior school) mess up the practice room and we always spend ages tidying the place up...tis' very annoying but we're gonna' get a permanent time arranged tomorrow hopefully.

Anywayz, take care y'all

Stevee T - He is doing a great job of managing his career and maintaining the artistic integrity. As for the fans - just play it and they will come.

estrela - Thanks for the greeting and hello to you in Brazil.

Cheese101 - Is that nickname realted to Tillamook? So now I have mold AND rust? My husband is never going to go for that! Am I stuck in this 65 year "box with utilities" in Santa Barbara forever? Can't really afford it either. Glad you were able to see the shows with your son and see Joe twice. Someone said he may tour again starting next March sure hope he comes back to Ventura.

Have a great day all. Off to work and yes I am late again.
