Message to Joe and band - Thanks for the Music! I don't buy many records these days, but yours are always a must have. Your latest effort is very powerful, I especially like the sequence of Up in Flames - Hands in the Air and Lifestyle. No time to catch your breath during that triio! So, I am looking forward to seeing you next month either in Chicago or Milwaukee. I took my son to your show at the Riv in chicago a couple of years ago. It changed his perspective on music, and he finally got what I was saying about quality musicians who make music that moves you, not just the subwoofer from his latest Rap CD. I appreciate your music, and hope you can continue to enjoy it as much as your fans.

cube thanks bro

pastafarian glad you're liking it :-) there were plans for both guitarist and guitar player magazines to feature (in some way) the Talk 2 Joe CD... not sure if anything's come of them yet though...

delfino that sounds like a fun project!

zinc master there's a dilute-to-taste drink here (don't know about the USA) called vimto... one can anagram-ise it ;-) also, speaking of anagrams, next time you call someone spineless you can also anagram-ise "spine" heh heh keep up wid da funnies - i often find myself copying and emailing some of em :-)

AustiNitsuA i'll go (well, wish as i think it unlikely) for NOTE, driving at night, with jupiter in mind, (lack of) anything I IV V based, a cover of Hey Joe, and a freely downloadable official-live-bootleg :-)

well i'm off... my new domain is now alive and (not) kicking there's a new look to go with the new name, and also the reason for its new name... check it if you can be arsed... either way: have a GREAT weekend everyone! catch yall soon... dave :-)

I copy and send off a lot of these jokes - some I get from this site and I email them off

Others I receive from email and post here.

If I were financing my son's college education...I would be a little upset if I knew he was proof-reading every single post that comes through here...time could be better spent getting a life.

Do the Stu: Glad you pounced so fast because you did not answer the question fast enough. And way to go on the "quotes." Like I or others care. Anyways, when I won the backstage passes, I was asked to contact tourmanager@satriani.com So LOGIC says that if I will help someone in getting backstage passes, I WILL ASK THEM TO CONTACT THAT EMAIL. Get it??????? Sorry If I offended you by answering a Satch related question, fanboy.

Phrydom - Sure guitar magazines should review it. start small with magazines like Circus.

Why dont you request Joe Satriani to put the cd's on his merchandise table? Or even better if he covers a song in his show. My recommendation is Pete Mulas or Alexander's music.

My dear friends,

Today has been Meatball day at Il Palazzo. Everyone is happy and is eating meatballs. Meatball and Pasta, Meatball granished with Parmesan and Marinara, Meatball w/Spaghetti and Alfredo sauce with Shitake Mushrooms.....I have decided to make today World Meatball day. Fried Meatball with also tastes very tasty.

Sorry I am so much in love with food and in particular meatballs. My son who is 3 years loves meatballs and I am excited today is his birthday!

Pastafarian Man, meatballs deserve their own day in my opinion...if pancakes can, meatballs surely can.
The simple yet elegant food, the meatball can be served with anything (not cream though) and at any time, and when I'm at uni and living on the proverbial shoe string I can see myself dedicating myself to the humble ball of fun...

Tastey my fat cat, "Ollie" has sunk to a new level of lazy, before when I said I have to put her on the work surface where we put their food so the dog doesn't eat it, that was due to laziness. Now if I don't put her close enough to the food she sits there and looks at me, or taps me with her paw, so I picked her up and put her closer...AND BEGAN EATING!!!....the lazy fat shit...lmao then my mom told me to stop pampering her lol....

Whats Up(CLARKY),(DELFINO PIE), Havent been here for a while. Tried the new JSX amp out... but sounded awful because of the neon lights...stupid things to have at a guitar shop, eh? Also, I tried the S Series guitar with the JSX but the guitar wasn't set up...guitar was in tune, but when i put it through the amp it was way waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of tune. Bought The New Led Zep dvd...awsome. Been over playing my Satch Cds/dvds and my RUSH cds/dvds. Going to a MuchMusicVideoDance in an hour or two. Gonna request the Big Bad Moon video or The Summer Song.

Peace

PhryDom - You use Mozilla for your web browser...right? I just downloaded their Firefox the other day... When you have more than one site open (tabbed browsing), do you know if there is a keyboard shortcut to jump from one tab to the next?

Also...I'd love to hear Driving At Night live, but I didn't list it because I just don't see Joe ever adding it. Oh well.

KRAZYASS - No...Joe doesn't have a box set available.
SupaaDave - ...?
jazzzzzzzy - What question was I supposed to answer? Better yet, what question did you answer? Someone asked about photo passes, not aftershow passes. As far as I know, you apply for photo passes through Mick, not Galen.

Further, Galen's email address is not there for people who are "interested" in aftershow passes, as you said in your earlier post. It's nice that we have that email address so we can contact Galen if something important comes up (or when people don't receive their confirmation emails). If people post his email address left and right, people will email him to bug him about all kinds of things. He'll change his address, and then those people who need to get in contact with him won't be able to.

Narface - I wouldn't mind hearing Mind Storm again...that's one of my favorite songs from SBM.
Pastafarian - Your posts are making me hungry...LOL. ;-)
Gee3 - The Led Zeppelin DVD is awesome...what are some of your favorite songs from it?

...Austin...

opticalstudio thanx for the encouragement..i need it sometimes..good news is just ahead.
Pastafarian Guitarist and guitarPlayer and guitar1 are all gonna review it .. just need to get them copies. I do not think circus would be a good place to have the t2j cd reviewed.. as circus is mostly a metal rag. thanx for your input.. feel free to tell others about the cd .(word of mouth is still a pretty good way to sell stuff). do you have any music recorded? i would love to hear it..thanx again.
