Hello... hope all is well in Satchland... been so busy with school and work... yesterday afternoon I was working with a new guy and had joe playing on the stereo and i asked this guy if he had ever heard of joe before and he said no he was too old to listen to guitar... so he sits there and listens to saying goodbye and tells me "you can tell that guy is on drugs, how could you not be and come up with that?" flipped out and told him "it is called an imagination and expression of emotion which you wouldnt know anything about because you apparently are lacking in both departments" and walked away... at which point my coworker then decides to tell me that he is the new boss... :l whoops!

mick87 and jazzy- glad to see you guys are back... how have things been?

well back to writing papers... hope all in satchland have a good day...

Anybody know why Joe has skipped CLEVELAND the last several tours? (For the record - I'm sure it has nothing to do with a fire on the river, our poverty rate or any other lame reason....). Joe used to play a real hole in Cleveland called "The Odeon" in the Flats. But there are much nicer areas (e.g. Music Hall) that would accomodate the same number as The Odeon. It really sucks that Joe doesn't play our hallowed city - recognized (from tiME to time, anyhow) as the home of rock-n-roll (complete with Rock Hall of Fame......). In fact, and to add insult to injury, Joe skipped Cleveland in favor of playing at our red-headed stepchild, Akron. Any clues?

Good luck with your hunt for a new job... ;-)

tasdas / cuthbert1776 - The webmaster has said a few things about that in the past... I think he said (in general) the problem is that local promoters in some areas don't really want to book guys like Satch because they don't think it will be profitable (or they don't think it will be as profitable as another act they can bring to town).

Tastey I'll go down the list lol...

Poppy: Grumpy as usual and getting very old, not very good at jumping anymore...

Feebee: Always trouble...

Rolo: Always bullying the other cats and random other animals including birds, frogs, mice...etc...

Cleo: My dad found a lump in her back...turns out its a cyst which has come from an allergic reaction to an injection she had a week before...

And ofcourse who can forget Olliieeeeeee (obvious favouritism) she seems to be getting more fussy and is always craving big fat attention, she is also getting rather huge...she is also lazy...we put their food on a work surface in the kitchen so the dog doesnt eat it, all the other cats jump up (except for poppy cos shes just old)...ollie on the other hand waits in the kitchen until someone walks past then goes crazy rubbing up against them, meowing and generally craving attention...as soon as you pick her up (which is a big fat struggle in itself) she starts "swimming" in the air in the direction of the food lol.

Hows your kitty(s)?

Joe,

I just purchased your JSX amp from Sigler music in Springdale Arkansas. I can’t express in words how incredible this Amp is. You and the team at Peavey have set the standard and for Tone, Quality, Design, and outright FUN! I play in a church that likes to rock and they can tell the difference. So congratulation for a job well done.

Question what cab (s) are you using now? I have found the Carvin G-12 to give me the response I like to hear and feel.

Thanks again Joe… Please come up to North West Arkansas and see us sometime.

CUTHBERT…….(((((: 400 :))))). Hey I agree with your point. I respect the right of others to be able to choose not to own a firearm. But we should be given the same right and respect to choose to own a firearm, since our founders in their wisdom, provided the Amendments as an inalienable right of self preservation against threats on life, and tyranny. As long as we are responsible citizens we should never lose the respect of others in the exercise of this inalienable right. I believe if the 2nd Amendment were to ever be removed from us the other nine would soon follow, with the first being freedom of speech, no protest will be tolerated. All tyranny needs is a gullible populace. Many believe it could never happen here. But all it would take is one catastrophic event, which has a physical, nation wide effect, and Martial Law would be declared. This would suspend the Constitution. Then people would fear for what we are discussing here. I for one hope nothing ever happens, but in an anarchical scenario in this current world of terrorism, where one rogue nuke could set the whole world in chaos, I would rather be in the groups with the weapons to have a chance of defending family, as well as friends and property. Now I could be wrong and I truly hope I am. If that is the case then my firearms can stay safely stored for recreational shooting and legal hunting seasons. It is like the old saying that can apply to anything. I would rather have something I may never need. Than to need something I don’t have.

I have acquired an AK recently from my whole sale source, It is being kept by a friend of mine whom is a L.E.O. I will have to wait till I get home to bring it to the range. At least it‘s something to look forward to when we return home……………Clint

BUBBLES……..Hello how are you??? The wife and I used several of Joe’s tunes for our wedding. Before the ceremony we played Cry’in and Tears in the Rain. The wife walked to Always, and we walked out to Summer Song. Then the party began, and we played more Satch. It was a blast. It was all great music for the occasion. Of course we didn’t have the video on a big screen, just the CD thru our bands P.A. . Hope all goes well, and be happy. GOD BLESS you and yours………..Clint

I have the AC/DC DVD also. I have watched it several time. They are one of my favorite bands……Clint

Here,here!.....I must agree. The format of this website is the easiest I have ever had to deal with. It's alot easier to get around & you don't have to worry about topics to see what the general discusion is.Your right.I think this is the only site with this format that I can tell.WEBMASTER!.....Don't change a thing.....

Clarky....I am having a real hard time getting a descent tone from my POD by going direct(which is how the sound card is designed)...I was told to run it through a good mixer first. What brand would you recommend.I am guessing a Mackie or a Beringer?...I have also been told to raise the bit rate to it's highest level while recording than lower it for mixdown.Have I been misled in any of these subjects?......I am brandy new at all this mumbo jumbo & I need some friendly advice from ye across the C..lol........!....jblaze1

cuthbert, I have a habit of reading the post before I read who wrote it. My bad. I have been skipping your posts way more than I'm reading them, it's just that there are so many, and most of them have been about the same thing, over and over again. I'll skip all of them from now on. No worries mate.

Jazzy, s'up dude? How ya been? My husband had surgery on his nose so he can breathe better. He's doing well, but it's still in the healing stages, so he don't know if there's any improvement yet. Thanks for the prayers hon :)

Has anyone been watching Rescue Me? It's a kick ass show, and my fav of the new season so far.

Stace, toss away! lol!

Adrian, hope you're having a fantastic time at the Yes/DT show!

evbro, wishin' you were back in Philly? lol!
