hey everybody whats goin on? whats this thing you've got going on austin? i had to skim through 18 pages of posts that were all done in less than 2 days so i didnt catch everything...you guys are on a posting frenzy! ok i have a question for all those guitar techs out there. i set up my JS100 and the strings are close to the fret board and i absolutly love how close they are, but from frets 13 to about 17 or 18 if i bend anymore than a half step they choke out, is there a way to fix this by not having to raise the action any? thanks a bunch

Bob

oh yeah, i finally finished my guitar for my senior project. it is absolutly beautiful!! i sanded it down from it's original transparent red and then painted it "Electron Blue" the color of the newer corvettes. i will have some pictures ready in a few weeks or hopefully sooner if any of you would like to see it. =)

I had no idea who I was talking to, did I?

Mama always said you gotta be careful about talking to strangers.

I had a friend once who, no matter how nice I was to him he would from time to time rip into me like I was some kind of sounding block for him to take his frustrations out on. One day I had enough and wrote 'em off as a lost cause.

sound like anyone we know?

I am glad things have mellowed out for now, but will it last! I have been a musician for some time now and I do session work in the studio in CA, & NYC. I am fairly new to site and I just wanted to say hi to all Satch fans out there and I hope to get to know all of you better. I do not know if there are rules about posting about bootlegs on this site but I have a large collection of Joes shows dating back to the early 80's to present. All are soundboard quality recorded from the sidelines at stage, also have videos when Joe gave me permission. Have all the G3 tours also all are excellent shots I have been into taping shows for years. I see most of you are muscians yourselfs and that is such a beautiful place to be in and sometimes a struggle. I struggle still to this day but it is worth it music is the freedom of all things in life so never throw it away. I was just told I had cancer and it blew me away but I am dealing with it through my music and trying to help others in everyway I can. I hope I am welcomed into your family and I can help all out with Joes music that I have. I am sure Joe would not mind and Joe & Rubina thanxs for well you know see ya soon!!! "Slick"

This is the area of my post that I retracted. There were no flames, or targetted "you were wrong to do this"es, but I felt it unnecessary to continue such a waste of what could have been intelligent conversation. Amen.

Michelle: when I read your response to Dave I felt you had come across rather nasty in your retort. Whether this was intended or not, your "merely stating of opinion" didn't seem very mere to me. Again, it may not have been your intention, but at the time, it seemed like it.

Jazzy Boy: check "Joe Messages" up the top. The last post he made, he told me he listens to Deftones quite a bit. I assume he's referring to the self titled album released last year, but my question was about the band in general.

Hi XSpeed. Just to let you know, we appreciate it when lower case letters are used, otherwise it looks like shouting.

Velcrome: be careful with the words you use, it's easy to take offense where it's not intended on the net.

Dragonchild: could you do me a favour? I was wondering if you could translate the lyrics of a song into English...no, doesn't matter. On trying to find a link to the original (Swedish) lyrics it had the English translation below. Saved you a whole heap of effort there. (The song was Blindside's Nara)

Oops, day has disappeared. It's after tea time, and I haven't been into town like my plan had been.

Later all, BEN

PS Jazzy Dude have an icecream man, to cool your insides.

Have a great evening everyone, okay so it isn't evening in most parts of the world yet but...it's the thought that counts, right?

Yeroma: "suup" is short for "what's up", which means: "what things are happening in your life?" and people say it as a greeting. It's an American saying. In Australia we say "how's it going?" (pronounced hazzagarn) which has similar meaning.

Velcrome: sorry don't understand your meaning. If you're referring to my nickname, it's pronounced Art-an-iss, not Art-ane-iss. I certainly hope you aren't deliberately trying to find enemies, because it's not a nice thing to do. Been there, done that, grew up, don't do it anymore.

Oops, keep forgetting. Zach, have you made any sales yet? Hope it all goes well for you.

Has anyone heard of a guy called Derek Byrd? (I think that's his name) A friend of mine said Yngwie rated him highly, and I found nothing so far on the net or anywhere else yet. He'd like to know a bit more about this guy. Cheers anyway.
