I dont particularly (sp?) like country music (BASTARD) but I wouldnt go over to, say, Garth Brooks and tell him its crap...COS HE WOULD KICK MY FAT ASS!!///This is supposed to be a place to talk about Joe and a place where he will be able to see what is being said. Narface Looks like you'll be using Shank's pony next week.

orangeade What did you do for uni? Anyway, it seems that the government want A levels to be sort of looked at when you apply to uni, and then they just check whether your parents went to uni or not, which, according tohis almighty Toniness, is fair.

Clarky How about you buy me an S series, and then I'll have some use for Ibanez whammy bar bushes. BTW should I call you Clavarice 5000 now?

ORANGEADE: Jelly Man.....hey.....if he doesn't think so, that's up to him. We believe and we live by that. LOL..LOL..LOL

There was this slightly controversial set of banners that came out, maybe Fusion might want to consider it from this light:

'Are you a betting man? Try this:

If you believe and I don't exist, you don't lose anything. If you believe and I do exist, voila! But then again..if I don't exsist..shit jack..you are fucked....

See? You can't lose by being a loser.

--God'

It makes for interesting thinking, at the very least.

Then again, they weren't allowed to stay up in public for very long, due to the PC movement. WHAT? People with computers stopped you?? CLUCK

Just a thought, everyone who complains about the price of Iby whammy bushes, are you sure they aren't a generic product? Could you get them from a hardware store, or are they the same as those for another make of guitar? Would say Fender or Kramer or whoever's bushes fit your guitar, or if the bushes are a really specific shape, could you get some local company to copy them or could you get some other bushes and carve them a bit to make them fit?

Does anyone think AVARICE has been getting less funny lately?

Has anyone been getting spam popup windows on T2J today?

crispin Never ever pay the list price on a guitar. Ever. It just is not done. I mean, the list price on a strat is £850 or something, but if you pay over £750 you're being ripped off, unless its some sort of signiature or special version.

crispin True, whereas lots ofamericans on here seem to have said that strats are cheap, so I take it we're being grossly overcharged for them.

orangeade Yeah, the government wants to get 50% of all people into university, so it raises the fees and encourages people to take vocational instead of academic subjects in school and drop the hard ones at 14, and then it wonders why its targets aren't being met so it tells universities they've got to admit more people from non traditionally academic backgrounds (you go to a crappy school/you're poor/your parents didn't got to uni) and give them lower grades to get in than other people, otherwise they won't get any money.

Clarky: That'd be "Pleking" that you're referring to. Here are some UK outfits performing this service:UK_Pleking

Crispin: I own a Mesa Dual... I love that amp. It is alot of cash to lay down, but they sound great. My suggestion to you, before shelling out the money, is to go out and try every amp you can find. An amp purchase is no different than a guitar purchase. You really should try them out extensively, so you get an idea of what you like/dislike, etc.

greg_m That is so screwed up...makes you wonder what we remain in the system for...

They're a little less subtle here. They just stream you out at 13 and tell you you're basically headed for technical education and forget it, you won't ever get near to the university you bunch of scum so don't even try.

And to Anibur's post...definitely not the Norwegian....he's got Malmsteen on.....

mick87 & greg m - Right on guys...thanks. Glad to be back... or should I say glad have some free time to check in and see what's the latest & greatest with THE GREATEST, Mr. Joe Satriani

Hahaha... Lynchmob! What a blast. Opened for Mr Lynch & Co. back in March. Seems like forever ago with everything that's been going down these past few months. Currently working on landing couple more shows like that for this summer. Keep your fingers crossed for me, will ya? I can always use a little help, no matter what shape or form. Speaking of... I hope to have some help here soon to alleviate some of the endless leg work it takes to be heard as an independent/unsigned artist... be it either management, distribution, a label, or the good Lord willing, all of the above.

---> endless leg work = everything imaginable besides actually playing music ;-)

Well, I should be getting back to work here. Need to get some flyers, CD labels, and PR junk printed up here.

Ray - RDG

JOE - If by chance you see this, I've always wanted to ask you the story behind how you were picked up by Relativity. Besides what's contained in your bio, and short of posting a novel here, any advice for musicians such as myself aspiring to follow in the footsteps of the most successful rock instrumentalist on the planet? (there's a question you've never seen before, huh? Thanks ;-)

ALMOST FORGOT... Right the f%ck on T2J!! Just finished checking out all the sample clips from the project. Sweet. BIG TIME PROPS TO ALL (and ever more bummed I missed out on such a killer project). :-D

greg m..yeah..the system is screwed up..people who are any of the follwing wont get into uni or higher education - english, white people, rich people, and not from any ethnic background. sorry anyone who is here from that, but thats the truth. us real english people dont get a look in these days. and its not just education, its housing, benefits, cars, anything to do with money and living. and they get it for free, us brits have to work for it then we get turned away. ok, rant over, lets sue the government for neglect.

anibur...fish joke?

mowlie_2000- (Applause) Man! That's the best cover of Always I've heard until now! Congrats! The tone's great, the backing is great (what software did u use to make it?), the playing is great! Well, it's not PERFECT yet, but give it 1 or 2 more takes and you'll be close! :) Loved it! :)

Anyone else planning on doing a cover of Always after this one? :p I won't quit trying to learn it, at least! :)

I think one of 2 things might be happening here:

1- Joe is slowly reading all the posts and will post a big blue message answering all the questions we've made him.

2- Joe is undercover and comes here once in a while joking with us, using the nick... AVARICE!

LOL!! That's an interesting thought! If this keeps going we can almost write a deep, phylosophical book about the multiple identities of each and everyone of us...
