HELLO JOE & EVERYBODY!!!

It is great to hear from you Joe. I'm glad to hear that everything is going well with you, Chickenfoot, etc. I would be an experience for me to see you perform, but as of right now, I can't because of my work and running. I hope you can stop at Indiana sometime.

Everyone, sorry I haven't chatted with you guys. I have been so busy with work at the Holiday Inn and my running. Last weekend (at the Holiday Inn), we had a huge group of Vera Bradley ladies and a Sports Team staying with us. We were completely sold out over the weekend. We also had a wedding reception to take care of. Last Sunday, I got interviewed on television by one of our local news stations & I appeared on the evening news (for about 5 seconds).

Three of my races are out of the way and here is how it went:

4/18/09: Shoe-Sucker 7 (7.46-7.5 Miles) - 4th overall and 2nd in age division. My time was 51:20

4/25/09: Mastodon Stomp 5K - 11th overall and 3rd in age division. My time was 19:08

5/2/09: The Indy-Mini (Half-Marathon) - I am still trying to get the results. I'll let you all know soon.

There is some races coming up this Saturday, but I am thinking about taking this Saturday off because my legs are still a little sore and the following two Saturdays are very important races that I have to do. Wish me luck on those.

After each of those runs that I did, I had to make a beeline back home to get ready for work. They rely on me too much, I think. Earlier today, I got called in by my boss because the person who was scheduled called off. I have to go back in later tonight & then do it again first thing the next morning.

Everyone, I hope you are doing well. How is everyone doing? Let me know what is happening.

Well, gotta run. I got to take care of some things and get back to work in the next few hours. Everyone take care, especially you Joe. I'll write to you guys as soon as I get the chance. See ya everyone!

Glitzy (That was for you Skippygirl)

Zinc Master: That was not my time. My time was 1 hour and 30-31 minutes (REALLY!!!) The time you mentioned is my second cousin's time. Jeremy is my second cousin. You must have confused my name with his. I checked online again and called the phone number and talked with them. Hopefully my name and time will be up there soon.

Skippygirl: Hey there! You thought I was not going to write to you and everyone, huh? I have just been busy as usual. After I run, I have to get ready for work. Sorry, no photos of me. You'll just have to look my name up online.

GoldenGirl2: How are you and your husband doing? I hope the guitar playing is going well for you? How many more of Joe's CDs do you need to get?

Elpp: Have you been practicing your breathing techniques that I have taught you?

Gotta Have Joe: Congrats to you Kayla. What are you planning on doing after your successes in education?

Alexandrecaetano: Congrats on your little girl.

HELLO EVERYBODY AGAIN!!! I have been playing catch up for the past week or so and I think I am caught up for now. Did anyone preorder Chickenfoot's album from Best Buy? I haven't yet. What have you all been doing? You better be staying out of mischief.

Joe: Keep up all the excellent work that you have done. Hopefully you can come to the Indiana area. I know a few folks here enjoy your music and would like to see you, especially Michael, Sammy, & Chad; as well as Stu, Jeff, and Eric.

By the way, I have heard of the Squares and I tried to find some of the recordings online, but had no luck. I also noticed that you had an EP before your first album, "Not Of This Earth" came out. I tried looking for it everywhere and came up empty-handed. Do you know where I could find your first EP or if possible, hook me up with one? If so, I would greatly appreciate it.

It would be wonderful if you stop at Indiana. Maybe you could catch me at one of my running races, which would be a highlight.

Well everyone, I gotta run. I have to be at work at around five tonight until closing. There is a reservation for about 20-25 people in our restaurant tonight. I know my boss wants me to help out with that. I'll write/chat with you all soon again. See ya!!!

Ah... If the vinyl version of Chickenfoot does come with a code for a digital download it makes me feel a bit better...although I guess we're still paying $20 for a bonus track. But that's OK... ;-)

It is cool to see a lot of people posting about how much they love vinyl...to be honest, I'd take that over any comppressed-to-death release that we get today thanks to the loudness war. Argh...

Skippygirl - The search for work is still...going. I have enough money to get by for a while, so I'm being really picky and only looking for specific journalism jobs. I'll broaden my search after about a month if I haven't found anything.
cosmic_ape - Ghosts is actually only available through iTunes...the bonus that came with the Guitar Center version of PSATMOR is a DVD...it features about a second and a half of yours truly. Oh, and then there's video of three live songs from the SWTA anniversary tour, and some making-of PSATMOR footage...if for some reason you're interested in what that Satriani guy is doing instead of where I was one night in August 2007. ;-)
Glitz Man - Go look through my posts from yesterday...you'll find links to download two songs from the Squares. Joe saw that and it kind of started the whole discussion...

Also, if you have Time Machine you have four of the five songs that were on Joe's original EP (Banana Mango, Dreaming #11, I Am Become Death, Saying Goodbye). The only song you're missing is the first one from the EP, Talk To Me, which wasn't included on TM because the master tapes were damaged. You can probably find it if you look around online...if not, let me know and I'll upload an MP3 for you.

Igneousiceman - I've never tried to figure out the song, but I believe it's in standard tuning. When Joe played it live last tour he used one of his chrome guitars, and as far as I know those are all set to standard tuning.

Hello Satchland, hello good friends, hello GREAT JOE!!

SCUBADAZ - thank you my friend :) !! Yes, i`ve tried adjusting the neck but i like the strings very close to the neck and when i`m playing in a few parts and pressing the E string i can hear the string touching the neck on the next note. I went with the guitar to a luthier and to the shop where i bought that. After two weeks they gave me the guitar ok. But now the situation is the same. A few weeks ago the guy from the shop told me that rarelly some guitars has this problem. I must fix it because the JS 1200 is the guitar of my dreams and i love play with her :)). Thank you ;) !! You are cool :)) !!

DCK - Itīs a such moment in my life, it`s the next level ;) !! Nice to see you my good friend. How are you?Any news about Phrydom?

SLANSHROOM - I would like to see you in Madrid on the Chickenfoot concert! That is possible? ;)

DO THE STU - Thank you so much my good friend :). You are a Joe Satriani fan legend ;). My daughter born in September :). It`s so cool to see her grow up on the mother`s belly :)). She is jumping all the time lol :). Yeah, Juju told me that. You and her in San Francisco, how cool is that. I would like to be there and enjoy the city with you guys :). Maybe next time ;). Thank you my friend, you are always very kind. Some good news very soon finally :). P.S.: Hope the Chickenfoot vinyl record has the download code to mp3 ;). Vinyl rocks!! I got almost 400 vinyl records. A friend of mine gave me something absolutely amazing: A Thin Lizzy record signed by Phil Llynot here in Lisbon almost 30 years ago ;)) !!

ROO - I`m a Vinyl collector. I got all Satriani records except Time Machine. It`s very expensive by now. Myabe soon :) !

GLITZ MAN- Thank you my friend ;) !!

JOE - Nice to see you around, not too much to say, just thank you :)) !! See you in Madrid !! Warm regards!!

Hope everyone is ok, see you later, love

Alexandre Caetano

P.S.: My favorite sport is Bodyboarding, check out this photo:

A possible DP but I can't resist playing devil's advocate.

IF a certain Mr Steven Demetre Georgiou has a good case (and it's not for me to comment if he has), is he by default also alleging that Joe plagiarised him as well?

Happy Cinco de Mayo, everyone! I'm off to San Diego to celebrate with Sammy Hagar and the Wabos at the House Of Blues. This is Sammy's last solo show before Chickenfoot, so it's sure to be a memorable one.

I'll post a full review after the gig, for those who are interested.
