Delfino no worries mate. I'm good friends with the Raindance team, and as soon as I saw what it was about I thought of you... and no - I don't want to hold your hand lmao. Good luck. It's a tiny download (relatively speaking) but looks like Dutch to me lol
Don't know if I posted this before, but a VERY good old friend from Blighty sent me this as an SMS....

"Too often we lose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember when someone annoys you it takes 42 muscles to frown, but only 4 to extend your arm and slap the c**t" (his words!). I thought it was funny.
Hey ho I'm going camping... proper camping, where you lift a rock, take a crap, then replace the rock.... should be fun... I think! Taking the kids too, there's river swimming and tons of poop for Lucy to rub herself in :-& There's talk of drinking beer all day, eating grilled meat all day and generally pretending you're about 10 years younger all day.... apart from the swimming thing I'm looking forward to it....

Howzit' goin' joe,

I'd like to start by saying, that I'm afan of yours and have been since surfing came out.My favorite satch tune is "Memories, from Dreaming #11,fantastic. I have only a few questions concerning your thoughts on another musician( an ACE GUITARIST) like yourself,Tommy Bolin. You were both a member of Deep Purple for a short time, your insights, please, on Deep Purple Mark4. What do you think of Tommy's playing on Billy Cobham's debut solo album "Spectrum"? What is your favorite Bolin riff or song? Have you heard any of the latest Tommy Bolin Archive releases? Are there any releases of Deep Purple "Live w/ Joe Satriani", if there is how may I obtain a copy? Greg Kihn "Live w/ Joe Satriani" Kicks-Ass! Thank you Joe for your time in doing this and I can't wait to hear your future releases.

thanks, metalrich

Hello to everyone, hope that you are all well and enjoying the week... just thought that I would drop by and tell you about two amazing shows that I was fortunate enough to see... the first was Dredg last night at the bluebird theater, awesome show, followed by aftershow passes in which we were able to meet the band and discoved the lead singer is from the azore islands in portugal :) the portuguese reunite in denver... and the second show was a suprise performance at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater... Those who were lucky enough to be there were treated to the amazing accoustic sounds of ALEXANDRE CAETANO... there were several blues songs played as well as some original material... the show stopper though was when he raised the guitar to his mouth and played with his teeth... the audience were left wanting more and were very appreciative of this impromtou performance and made sure to express their appreciation after the show...

Alexandre made it to denver tuesday and I have had a lot of fun showing him around the denver area... actually even took him to cheyenne wyoming to see the frontier days festival and a rodeo...explored downtown denver and then out to dinner tonight where we had buffalo, elk, and rattlesnake... :) nice to be able to show him around and even better to listen to him play the guitar in my living room!!!

anyway, hope that all in satchland have a good night and an even better day tomorrow...

Thank You

I want to thank all of you who have taken the time and trouble to send me your chain letters over the past few years. Thank you for making me feel safe, secure, blessed, and wealthy. Because of your concern... I no longer drink Starbucks as they don't support our troops. I no longer drink Coca Cola because it can remove toilet stains. I no longer drink anything out of a can because I will get sick from the rat feces and urine.

I no longer use Saran wrap in the microwave because it causes cancer. I no longer check the coin return on pay phones because I could be pricked with a needle infected with AIDS. I no longer use cancer-causing deodorants even though I smell like a water buffalo on a hot day. I no longer go to shopping malls because someone will drug me with a perfume sample and rob me. I no longer receive packages from UPS or FedEx since they are actually Al Qaeda in disguise.

I no longer shop at Target since they are French and don't support our American troops. I no longer answer the phone because someone will ask me to dial a stupid number for which I will get the phone bill from hell with calls to Jamaica, Uganda, Singapore, and Uzbekistan. I no longer eat prepackaged foods because the estrogen they contain will turn me gay.

I no longer eat KFC because their chickens are actually horrible mutant freaks with no eyes or feathers. I no longer date the opposite sex because they will take my kidneys and leave me taking a nap in a bathtub full of ice.

And I no longer sit down on any restaurant toilet seats because the infamous butt spider could be nesting there and send me to a certain death with one sting. Thanks to you, I have learned that God only answers my prayers if I forward an email to seven of my friends and make a wish within five minutes. (Jeeze, the BIBLE didn't mention it works that way!)<

I no longer have any savings because I gave it to a sick girl who is about to die in the hospital I no longer have any money at all, but that will change once I receive the $15,000 that Microsoft and AOL are sending me for participating in their special e-mail program

Yes, I want to thank all of you soooooooo much for looking out for me! I will now return the favor. If you don't send this e-mail to at least 1200 people in the next 60 seconds, a large bird with diarrhea will poop on your head at 5:00 PM this afternoon and the fleas of a thousand camels will infest your crotch and your arms will be too short to scratch. I know this will occur because it actually happened to a friend of a friend of a friend's neighbor's cousin and he's a lawyer.

Hello Joe how are you doing these days?. I have been playing guitar for 35 years, but cant play anywhere close to your caliber. I have followed you since Not of This Earth, and I am still amazed at your new work. I talked with Gary Hoey for 20 mins, he said he had played with you before, I said you played with Joe (wow) he seemed to be agitated in a way that seemed ,no Joe played with me. I think Gary is a great guitarist and you cant take anything away from him but Satch, Jeff B, Steve M, Steve V, Frank G, Tony M, It must feel so good to be where you are at, Scott henderson is real good but Satch is hands down the best by far I have ever heard. It would be great to meet you one day for as Jeff Beck Is your hero, you are mine. I met Robin Trower and talked with him for 1 hour, he was super cool and had much class. well you take care Joe and I will see you when you are in my neighborhood which is N.C. U.S.A.., john r fullwood.

Hi Satchland!

I hope everyone is having a nice day, I've enjoyed to yet another beautiful warm sunny day! Michelle, it has cooled down a little here fortunately and I hope there too :-)

fizz450_03, this site has some Satch lyrics, specially from "Flying in a Blue Dream": http://www.lyricsdownload.com/joe-satriani-lyrics.html. I hope it helps.

Stevee T, I will be out of home in August but you can send the CD, I have a lovely neighbor who will take care of my mail so I will be delighted to listen it once I arrived home :-)

962, Glad to hear the song arrived safely to your computer and you liked it! You have mail!

marimariSRV, thanks for the well wishes for my trip Mari! By the way your Vai tour sounds awesome! I will be looking forward to your posts! I'm really hoping to see some Real Illusions dates for Spain also!

michelle, "my fave song is still Dave's Party Piece. lol!"

Yeah, It could be my favorite too from Dave! with Andonova & Shove The Sun Aside.

Steven Wilde, Steven, never drop to make music, see what music did and does for you, hear what I have to say, there's always a tomorrow and there's still today, remember Joe and all true musicians, how they gave us back our souls, our hearts, our all. Steven, you can live again and never feel small. Music has that power, you have a lot to give and share, remember that guitar (or any instrument) always says and doesn't weep. Take care of yourself, I am with you, we are with you!

"You may only be one person to the world. But you may also be the world to one person."

(Anonymous quote)

bahduh, hi! I hope all is going well with your baby, you have mail, take care!

Just catching up with the last few days....

Michelle- LOL! I have just signed the petition on the anti-politically correct website! You are right, it gets taken waaaaaaay too far...

962- "refuse disposal technician" - it's the unnecessary use of the word "technician" that is the daft bit! LOL!!!

BigBunny- I forgot all about that Cartman quote! :)

Bahduh- Hi, I'm ok thanks, just broken up for the summer holidays, the good thing about teaching! :)

Cuthbert - "least-best employees" it is just ridiculous!!! :)

Steven- Good to see you posting again! How are you feeling today? Keep playing though whatever else you do!

Mari- Hope you are having a great day :)

Then we found out when we got back this evening that another friend of the family who we know well passed away last night. :( Sorry to be all doom and gloom...
