Maire....it's nice to see you posting again.

Ovation...."Return of The Alien" sounds cool.....but I thought Joe mentioned once somewhere that he was trying to shake that image....I don't know why....I think it's a good image to project. When I played the LISF dvd to a friend of mine, the first thing out of his mouth was that Joe looked like he was from outer space..

ka girl....... I'm doin' great. Thanks. The weather in Chi-Towm is unbearable. It's been upper 80's...90's for the last couple of days with no sign of a let up. The cold Winters you expect but the Summer is the luck of the draw. You never know what to expect. It's never this hot and for so long this early in the Summer. It's not officially Summer yet by calender. I don't think in the last 3 yrs. Chi-Town has had a 90 degree day that I can remember. It's hot in Minnesota....it's never hot there. That's how weird this is. I love the outdoors and don't care much for A/C. We have no choice. It's A/C or die !!!!!!

962 Steve was just getting sick when we took the picture back in March. At the next show, some people told me he started wearing gloves so he wouldn't spread the sickness.

Delfino, if you really want to piss uni off, paint the room black! It'll take 15 coats to make it nasty prison-cell off-white again! MUAHAHAHAHA

Cuthbert, no way man, I definitely don't trust them on the whole idea of lifting fuel tax. I thoroughly expect that they will promise that they'll do it, people will say "okay, do it, if it means cheaper fuel", then they'll pass the new law to have a distance-travelled toll, and the say "actually, you know what? you can keep paying with body parts for fuel. SUCKERS"
OME, he started wearing gloves so he wouldn't spread the sickness? That's pretty nuts, must have been a nasty bug. Still, it explains why he looks kinda weird in that picture! When was it taken?
marimariSRV, camera arrived this morning. It's fantastic. The autofocus is so much better than I expected, it's the first time I've been impressed by a form of artificial intelligence! I wish I could use it at Vai's Groningen show! Oh well.

also, you'll be pleased to know I spent some of this morning rocking out to the DVD of Stevie Ray + Double Trouble: Live At The El Mocambo! There's some cracking (excellent) songs on there!

962..... How is that DVD? If you like SRV. Check out my site. We do a version of "Texas Flood". There's some Indigenous and Joe Bonamassa covers on there as well. This was an old line up but I'm happy to report auditions next week for the new line up. I'm can't wait. Let me know what you think.

I forgot to mention... the dumplings are like large ravioli with this lovely spicy vegetable mixture inside. You fry them and have LOTS of soy sauce to dip them into - lovely yummy! :-) oh, and no, it was tin.

Hi Joe, I have been a huge fan for many years...and your music has really influenced my painting. One piece which I have sold (one of my first sales!) was entitled "Rubina" and the other which I have just finished is entitled "Flying in a Blue Dream". If you would like to look at them they are posted on my website: http://spaces.msn.com/members/sammygirl1971/PersonalSpace.aspx?_c01_blogpart=myspace&_c02_owner=1&_c=blogpart I listen to your music as I paint and I'm planning on creating more pieces based on your music. Thanks for being a huge inspiration!

Its not really my back its more my shoulders. I have a back problem so that is why they hurt. I have to go to a chiropractor to get is adjusted.
